I'll get us started!
We are 11mo old. Nursing 4-6x, solids 3-5 x (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner)
Nights we are up 1-2x. A new tooth just came through so I hope to have some respite!
Pumping on down to one pump by our first birthday. I hope to EBF so I'll let her intake tell me if I should continue to pump or drop the last one. Nursing is good! She thinks biting is funny but thankfully doesn't do it often.

How old is baby? 10.5m How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing first thing in the morning and right before bed and she gets bottles of pumped milk at daycare, or I nurse 2 or 3 other times during days we are together. She gets 3 meals of whatever we are eating and sometimes a snack. How are nights? Good, she is sleeping through most nights. She does wake occasionally but I don't nurse her until it's been over 8hrs. How is pumping/nursing going? I stopped pumping at work and only pump one side in the morning and the other side before bed, she nurses the other side. I thought for sure I'd never want to stop nursing since this is my last baby, and as sad as I am she is getting older I kind of could give or take nursing. I gave her a pumped bottle this weekend, and I actually enjoyed it more than nursing. Not sure why, but I'm mentally getting there. I nursed right up until my oldest turned 1 and I'll do the same. I have enough milk in the freezer to giver her 12.5oz a day if we stopped nursing and pumping tomorrow, but I'm still going to gradually wean from now until her birthday. Q/rants/raves not really other than the above rant
GTKY: what was your little for Halloween?? Mike Wazoswki (Big is Sully)
We NOD but it's about every 3 hours. Solids once or twice a day.
Nights are so great this week (knock on wood). One wake up a night! Amazing.
All is well!
Question: is it normal for dethawed frozen milk to smell a little funny? I haven't ever smelled it before yesterday but it smells wonky to me compared to fresh milk!

How old is baby? 11m tomorrow, omg. Slow down time How often are you nursing? Solids? 4-6x day and typically once MOTN. Solids 2-3 meals a day How are nights? Not terrible. MH handles anything before 3am and I handle anything after. We usually wind up with one wakeup apiece unless it's a really good or really bad night. How is pumping/nursing going? Good! I had some blisters/bleeding recently that were making nursing really painful but am on the mend now. Pumping is fine. Q/rants/raves LO's milk intake (on days I'm not home to NOD) has dropped in recent months. I was panicking about it and trying everything we could think of to boost it. After a while and it not really changing, we decided we can't force the kid to drink more milk, so decided to up his solids intake so at least he wouldn't be hungry. He ate up every bite of the increased solids and also significantly increased his milk intake at the same time. OK!

My baby is a year on Saturday!!! Despite the fact that I thought we've been done several times, we're still nursing a few times a day. She also has WCM at DC and eats solids regularly. Nights have become unpredictable. No pumping, I ditched it two weeks ago. If my supply tanks, it tanks. Maybe she'll self wean. Just want to say hello and goodbye!
GTKY: what was your little for Halloween?? She was an astronaut and I dressed as "space". It was cute.

How old is baby? 8 months of Thursday How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD, but it's usually 6-8 times during the day and then all freaking night long. Solids 3 meals a day. How are nights? Horrible. I feel like I have a newborn again. I'm lucky if we get 2 hour stretches. I think we're in the 8 month sleep regression, plus I just started my second pp period today. Hopefully things get better by this weekend. How is pumping/nursing going? Fine except the nights. My nipples are so sore by morning Q/rants/raves: please tell me sleep will get better soon! GTKY: what was your little for Halloween?? I wore her and made the carrier a money bag. I was the burglar and DH was the cop. I think tonight we are just going to pass out candy so I'll throw her older brother's Olaf beanie on her to sit on the porch.
How old is baby? 8 months on Thurs! How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD, prob still 10-12 times in a 24 hr period. Solids still just 1x a day, and some bites here and there... she isn't super into it lately unless we are at a restaurant. I hate our high chair and am thinking of buying a new one.
How are nights? 7 to 7 with mostly 2 wake ups to nurse, sometimes 3. She goes right back to sleep after nursing. Usually 12 and 4. Last night she did 11 and 5 though and it was amazing! 6 hrs of mommy sleep feels so good!
westiemom , it could be lipase. If your LO takes the frozen milk just fine, it is nothing to worry about. kensie5226 , happy 1st! halfahippy, I wish I knew when sleep got better :/
My LO is 10.75 months. She is taking 14 oz at daycare, eating 12 oz of baby food, having some finger foods for breakfast (usually meet or almond butter), having finger foods for dinner (usually meet and a veggie or fruit) nurses before bed, and then nurses 4-8 times over night. Does that seem like a lot? Should milk consumption start going down soon? It's not for her lack of eating! She is not a particularly big baby. (I think I've covered all the check in )
GTKY: She was a dalmatian. Big sis was a fire fighter.

byjove, it does sound on the high end of normal, but she's a busy growing girl. Do you co sleep at night? A lot of the night nursing is probably just comforting, not for nutrition.
byjove , I haven't noticed milk consumption going down, but i have noticed solid consumption going way up. She has always drink about 6-8 oz at daycare. There was a time for maybe a few weeks that she drank 9-12 oz at daycare. I think this was when she was ready for solids and we weren't giving her enough of it yet. I haven't noticed her wanting to nurse less either. My DD nurses a ton overnight too. She is down to 3-4 times over the past week or two but it's typically 4 +++.
Thanks! That is good to know. She had been taking 16-17 oz a day, so it is down a bit from a few months ago.

We do. I am sure some of it is comfort. The few nights of better sleep we've had she only nursed 3 times, so when it is more it might be a combo. The last couple of nights she won't sleep unless she is attached. I think it might be teething though.

OK, bear with me, it's my last check-in here
How old is baby? He will be 1 year old on Sunday!!! How often are you nursing? Solids? We nurse 2-3x/day on my working days. On weekends, I dont keep track, but I'd guess 4-5x/day. He eats 3 solid meals plus snacks. How are nights? They're OK. We sleep trained at 10 mo, so we've been good to go since then. I still nurse to sleep, but I have put him down a few times when he was groggy. How is pumping/nursing going? Nursing has been great. Pumping is annoying, but Ive had really good output. Ive been working to try and stop pumping altogether. Q/rants/raves . Just that I am so sad that my last baby is now venturing into toddler-hood. I cant believe just like that he is a little boy and no longer my squish.
GTKY: what was your little for Halloween?? Gus-Gus to DD's Cinderella.
