DS woke up at 6 am, now 5 am with the hr change. It's going to be a long morning. I have brunch at 10 am, can't wait!
Did you set your clock back before you went to bed or when you got up?
It's the cell phone so that happens automatically. He did go down at least an hr later last night but that didn't help. Also doesn't help that I was up until 1 am.
mrswillie yes, that's what I specifically asked about. Since the place has 5 or so drs, it depends on who I get. Some take the ute out during a csection in any case to make sure to clean it out well and some won't. I was told it wouldn't hurt any more or require more recovery time. This is something I wish I'd stayed ignorant about.
Oh boy! The luck of the draw. Did you have a CS before? Was it with the same practice? I wonder if the dr did. Did you ask if they'd ever had their ute taken out to know whether or not it would hurt? Lol.
No one notified the dog of the time change so I'm up with her at what is now 6:45am. Got my Target stock up trip done yesterday so today is just regular grocery trip and laundry. I promised dh some "fun time" today so I'm trying to get myself at least energized for sex, but in the mood is a whole other issue. It's just so much work now.
No kids yet, but my dog did wake me up at 7, after going to bed at 1 a.m. 😡 And I don't even have time for a nap today.
Me neither After brunch we need to go buy a bday present, visit bday girl and then visit my dad. And somewhere in there go to grocery store. This has been an exhausting weekend.
My day has just been the epitome of parenthood. The girls of course ignored the time change, so they were up early. My 3 year old pooped in her pull-up and tried to clean it up herself before I got up, so there was a mountain of wipes in the toilet. Then a bit later I took them grocery shopping... DD1 stepped in mud while I was trying to get DD2 out of the car, then DD2 had an accident while I was trying to pay (she's potty training without day-time pull-ups). So I awkwardly asked the cashier for paper towels so they didn't have to clean up the puddle of pee on the floor. Meanwhile the lady behind me in line goes "why is it taking so long??". And then it takes me like 50 trips to bring the groceries inside because I have to carry them upstairs and FI isn't home. At least the girls went down for a nap without a fuss? I'll call that a win.
hmr11913 I'm kind of dreading my first trip out with all three by myself. But FI is a SAHD, so he's going to be doing it more often than me when I go back to work. He has all my sympathy.
hmr11913 I haven't had too many issues taking both out by myself. Much harder to do while pregnant though just being so tired. I even flew alone with both. There will be no flying alone with 3. HA!!!

Well you ladies had a busy chat this weekend. I was also exhausted but caught back up last night. So DD we have had her in a toddler bed for 2 weeks and then the regression started. She would wake up at like 1 am and then scream bloody murder and try to get out of the door, cause we have those damn handle doors. If you ever think of putting those in just consider do I have lil ones that will figure these out in no time flat??? Anywho, so mommy caved yesterday and drug the pack n play up and her nap and bedtime were a dream. WE ARE GOING BACK LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. JUDGE THE HELL OUT OF ME. But we (me) just doesn't have the energy to fight a new bed right now.
lbonga1 please tell me that you gave the asshat woman in the back of the line one hell of a look. I would of spat out some nasty comment..thats my mood as of right now. lol.
requiressnacks, put down google! Also all the baby books..to be honest with you..when they get here all that knowledge will go flying out the top of your head. Then brings on super panic and just make it through the next 15mins. But its not so bad..you learn on your feet. I think this is why women are multi-taskers..cause if we weren't babies rates and sanity of mothers would be low. lol.
SOOO question I will probably post in the Monday random too..just because I have seen the Baby Mamaroo and pondered. But then stop pondering when I see the price tag. Anyone used one with a previous child. My DD was RNP and a table swing..she loved both. I am wondering should I venture to try this interesting "bouncer/Rocker" if you will.
