Add me to the didn't sleep well club... I've had such a headache, 8 finally took some Tylenol this morning so I hope that helps. Trying to "relax" as much as I can today with a 17 month old. My u/a results were posted online and my protein was at a 60, which from what I read pre-e your levels would be around 300... so that's a little reassuring.

At soccer with DS (hooray for independent classes) and then pizza for lunch with friends. Then NAP. Maybe some baby laundry? Not super exciting but decided I should take advantage of nesting feelings while I'm still relatively energetic.

Hi everyone! +1 to shitty sleep. I'm starting to blame it on reading baby books before bed. I wake up at 3 am to Google random facts about newborn sleep, feeding, etc.
Now I'm sitting in a recliner watching The Fall on Netflix. I probably have a nap in my future. Please don't judge my laziness.
Also, the November 16 baby boom has me really excited. We are so close!!! (Well, I'm closer than many....but we are all still close to baby time!)

Hope you and DS feel better @kcnumbers!
They told me good numbers are between 42-225, so that's great! Mine was 1000, hence the induction.
I'm watching the CMA show on hulu trying to convince ds to take a morning nap.
I need to put away laundry and start another load if I want to wear clean clothes today.
Laundry is the worst right now. Mine is in the basement and it's near impossible for me to get the basket down there without assistance. So I kind of gave up on that for today.
I had my BP checked this morning and it was back to 120/80. I guess/hope yesterday was just a fluke.
We got the car seat installed this morning, finally. We decided to skip the infant seat (those bases are so easy to install!) and go straight to the convertible. It was pure comedy watching us install the pain the ass, but in the end, I'm satisfied with a nice tight level install! I can't wait to put a baby in it!
I've officially moved to the reclining end of the couch to sleep. I've been threatening to do it for weeks, but finally had enough of waking up gasping and aching muscles from only being able to sleep in one position. I actually got a 4 hour stretch all at once last night. It was amazing.

This is where I'm at too. One day I'll have a main floor laundry room (I hope!) it's exhausting to do laundry bc DS wants to go down to the basement with me and then he never wants to come back up. Plus my basement is a mess and not exactly kid friendly. However, this reminds me that 2 years ago when I was pregnant with DS and we were remodeling our kitchen and back entry, we had no basement stairs for awhile, just a ladder. So DH did laundry for awhile, which sounds nicer than it was. He's a throw everything in together and dry allthethings kind of guy.
Main floor laundry is my dream too. Preferably 2nd floor!!
MH does his own laundry for that very reason. He washes white undershirts with black socks , for example, and it drives me apeshit.
requiressnacks @kc295905 lol, it's the opposite in my house. I throw everything together and dh separates colors...and separates work clothes from casual even. Did not like it when I started mixing my stuff with ds. But he's more than welcome to take over laundry.

I'm home all alone with Hazel today and it's so quiet without DH and the big girls and we aren't expecting any visitors. I should do some laundry but instead I'm catching up on tv and snuggling baby.

Add me to the no sleep club as well. We went out to breakfast this morning and then I finally got my TDaP vaccine at Walgreens because my OB doesn't provide it but wanted it done at exactly 36 weeks. When I called Walgreens they said it would be $70 but my insurance ended up covering the whole thing, so that was a nice surprise!
Also made our first Facebook marketplace purchase- a brand new digital mamaroo with an infant insert for $80. Our local once upon a child sells them for $150 so I feel like we got a really good deal!

Exact same at our house- I have no problem mixing but DH wants everything separate!

Skipped the 9 hour birthing class, I just can't take anymore, and went out to breakfast. Now home finishing up the freezer meals (laying on the couch as the soup cooks) I have no more energy.

My back is killing me. I think I'm taking tylenol. It's not the worst pain I've had so far. But I'm not in the mood to go out with ds feeling this crappy.
Just waiting for my clothes to finish drying before we head out.
I went to BRU yesterday to return and rebuy some things that went on sale the day after I bought them. Grrrrr! The kid working forgot my 10% off with my BRU credit card. I realized after I had pulled onto the road. Circled around, unbuckles DS1 and went back in to a long line. Luckily a manager came to my aid and helped me quickly. Went to BJs after which took forever because DS1 wanted to try all the samples! He's hilarious. I had the WORST coughing fit as soon as I got in line. Cue horrible puking noises. Almost puked all over the floor. DS1 was scared. Pretty sure he thought I was dying. A nice lady in the next line ran and got the big pregnant lady a cup of ice water. Whew! Thank you lady in line at BJ's!
We moved DS1 and DS2 in together last night. It went pretty well overall. DS2 woke up really early, but DH took him downstairs where they're still sleeping on the couch together. DS1 can't wait for him to wake up and play with him.

littlelion I thought it was you and just did a quick search.... I've been meaning to tell you I asked my OB about the tubal procedure with my RCS. He does not take the ute out to do it. I told him I saw somewhere that it's been done and he said some doctors do take the ute out to do it, but he doesn't. And the reason he doesn't is because it is painful and it's not necessary to do so. I asked him if I went into labor before my scheduled date and got a different OB, if he/she would leave it in too. He was pretty sure most of the OB's at the practice do, but to mention it beforehand and ask them to leave it in to do it. Well, that settles that.... if I go into labor beforehand, it's only on the days he on call. Haha!! Really though, there's only one OB there that I dislike (hate, really) and filed a complaint against her. I won't let her touch me. But otherwise, he's really quick with the C/S, does a great job on the incision and has been wonderful through my IF history. Now I'm just rambling on trying to make myself not nervous that I'll end up in labor prior to my date. 😳

mrswillie yes, that's what I specifically asked about. Since the place has 5 or so drs, it depends on who I get. Some take the ute out during a csection in any case to make sure to clean it out well and some won't. I was told it wouldn't hurt any more or require more recovery time. This is something I wish I'd stayed ignorant about.

Oh boy! The luck of the draw. Did you have a CS before? Was it with the same practice? I wonder if the dr did. Did you ask if they'd ever had their ute taken out to know whether or not it would hurt? Lol.
