O took an almost 4 hour nap yesterday so I was apprehensive about the night. We pushed dinner and bed back an hour. He slept until 6:30 this morning which is his unadjusted normal wakeup meaning we actually got an extra hour of sleep!! I left him in bed until 7:15. So far, we're good. My friend is running the Bay Bridge 10K today then staying the night. I reminded H yesterday but he claims I never told him. I did. At least twice. That's all. I think I might finish making my Elfster ornament today. I'm having so much fun doing it. I've really missed being creative!
C woke up at 5:20. We're downstairs eating waffles watching curious George. My body started waking up around 4:45 so it wasn't a huge deal but would have enjoyed snuggling in bed with C and DH a little more. C was rolling across the bed and laying sideways/ diagonal and kept kicking DH so I opted to come downstairs. I went to a bridal expo in August with a friend and we won free facials so we're meeting up to get them done today. DHs parents are coming over to help DH with the playground while I'm gone. (C should be napping). I also plan on taking advantage of my C free time to do some solo grocery shopping.
We went out on a date night last night, so J slept over my mother's. It's so weird not having my baby at home when I wake up. She's slept over before, but I've always had to leave early when she'd be sleeping anyway.
My kids were up at 6:30 demanding to be fed. B was also up and hysterical a few times overnight, which is strange for her. She's been STTN for a couple of months now, and she has all of her teeth so I don't know what was up.
I'm supposed to be taking family photos today, but the weather went from perfect to 90% chance of rain, so I'll see if they still want to go. Regardless, I'm hoping that my mom will take the girls for a couple of hours. I have had zero kid free time since September and I just need a bit of time to myself, even if it means working. Haha.
DS wound up taking a later than usual nap yesterday, so we were able to push back bedtime a little last night and we got to sleep till 6:30, so with a normal wake up of 7, we wound up with an extra half hour with the time adjustment - I'll take it!
Going to MIL's later for dinner and currently debating whether a trip to the petting farm in the morning will mess up his nap. It probably will, but he loves making different animal noises lately and the weather is beautiful, so we'll probably risk it.

BH was up every hour starting at 12. At 2/3 I brought him to bed with us. At 5/6 I could hear LBB singing in his room, but I think he went back to sleep. Both boys up at 5:50, but because that would be 6:50, it means DH and I actually slept longer than we usually do on the weekend.
We've got an out of town birthday party today, so I'm sure there will be plenty of car sleeping.
No extra hour here! Just have to remember I'm back to the central time zone, lol.
It was such a gorgeous day yesterday. Record breaking weather! We had a great time with our friends over in the afternoon.
Not much on the schedule today, but tonight I am meeting a friend in the city for supper then off to a duelling pianos show as we tentatively booked them for a fundraiser I help organize in the spring so we thought we'd go see them live first and meet them after to get a better idea of what we're looking at. I put myself in charge of decor (for a 300 person event-bigger than my own wedding lol!) so I'll be seeing if I get any more inspiration there tonight, I've got some ideas brewing.

We pushed bedtime an hour last night too til 7:15 and my some miracle he slept until close to 6, which is close to 7 pre DST, which never happens. My MIL took him in the morning to her house, so I napped for a few hours.
We can't go anywhere today because of the NYC Marathon and all the roads are closed , so probably just go to the playground later.
I'm getting super nervous about the election. To say that my FB is filled with a lot of Trump supporters, including two friends, is making me queasy.
LOL, extra hour. LO was up at 4. I got up around 4:30 when she was crying to try to nurse her to sleep. She kicked me and fought me, and h finally got up with her around 4:45. Now she's been napping for two hours...
H and I are both sick, too, so we're a whole lot of fun. I need to run to the HRC campaign office to drop off some treats and do some slight grocery shopping before I can relax again!

Lol @ extra hours of sleep.. no 2 nights are ever the same for me, I never notice the time change as far as adding or subtracting hours. I just like that fall back = its light outside in the morning.. I cant stand waking up before the sun! Poor Jasmine seriously inherited my sleep tendencies, so yea.. we sleep some hours of the night and don't sleep others, and wake up with the sun. I think that was about 6:30 this morning. Not bad.
Can I just tell yall I am SO EXCITED to start my new job tomorrow?! I feel so ready! My mom (the bargain queen!) took me on a 3 hour shopping spree at kohls last night, and bought me an entire work wardrobe for less than 100 bucks! I love how kohls tells you how much you saved off original prices.. we saved 480 dollars lol. Crazy.
So today I'm just sorting my and Js clothes for the week, and prepping meals. Feeling happy

Good luck on your first day tomorrow periwinkledaydreams! I know you'll be great!
My parents came over yesterday so I took advantage and went to the mall and ended up doing some major shopping damage yesterday at Aritzia. First time in that store and I had no control. Got some nice outfits to wear when I see DH next week though for his graduation.
periwinkledaydreams, good luck tomorrow! I love saving more than I spend at Kohls too - my mom and I have also had some pretty epic shopping trips there.
Yesterday I took ds to the zoo and then dinner with just him thinking that more one on one time may fix our nighttime issues.
No such luck...sleep last night was shitty with him. S was up just past her normal wake up time.
We went to my parents' house today and helped them get all their furniture back together after they got their floors done. My mom asked if DS could stay and play with my sisters' kids, so she'll be bringing him home later.
Got clothes for the kids for family pics next weekend and relaxing on the couch now.
Went and did the facial. Wasn't exactly what I was expecting but nice to have some me time. (I was expecting some to actually do a full facial and it was a Mary Kay consultant going step by step for you to do it to yourself.) Came home to a crabby DH because C never napped and wouldn't eat his lunch. I was home when we expected and all he said when I walked in was "it's about time." Then just handed me C and walked out the back door. His cough is awful and he keep getting low grade fevers. I think I'm calling his ped tomorrow to see what they say.
DS slept until 6:30 with the time change, which is normal because we get up at 7:30 to take SD to school in the mornings. He played quietly in his crib though for probably 30 minutes until he heard DH yelling at video games and wanted to play with Daddy.
We enjoyed the fantastic weather today by taking the littles out to breakfast and then to a kite festival and ferry ride with their cousins and grandmother.
Hi alyssa7012, it looks like you were previously from July 15 on the dump and getting back into participating around TCF? You are welcome to participate on this board if you want. (Maybe your LO came early in June?) Feel free to intro so we can get to know you a little better
