We are a group of women striving to live healthier lives, whether that means losing weight, gaining weight, sticking to a specific diet, counting calories, avoiding counting calories, starting to exercise, continuing to exercise or anything in between.
We check in on Mondays. Feel free to use this ckin throughout the week if you are struggling or have an awesome achievement to share!
I'm finishing week one of the Whole 30. It WAS going really well but today was rough. I think part of it was that I'm just super stressed because I have a big test tomorrow and my grandpa is in the hospital again and I think we're going to have to move him to assisted living which he does not want and I've been stressed about IVF stuff and finances and the holidays. Plus, MH and his friend are finishing our floors today and they ordered pizza and it looked/smelled delicious. I wanted some so fucking bad but instead I ate chicken and a sweet potato. :-( That did not make me happy the way pizza does.
4furrypaws, I'm so impressed with your exercise! I need to get my ass in gear but I am just so unmotivated lately.
The good: went for a bike ride after days of inactivity The bad: days of inactivity. Heh... and leftover Halloween stuff for days. Too much carby-ness in the house. The proud: stuck to my list at the grocery store. That's pretty big! Um, the bike ride was the first one since August, so I'm pretty proud about that. The plan: doing a modified whole 30 starting today. I still have some yogurts to finish and I'll be taking the day before, Thanksgiving, and possibly two days after off. Because leftovers. Since I am the Thanksgiving cooker as well as the one buying all the food, I'm going to go ahead and enjoy it. But until then, I'm eager to get this started. Halloween started a really horrible sugar cycle for me and it's all I've been craving.
