I don't know what's giving me more anxiety, this pain in my side, or tomorrow's election. 

I feel like there's not enough alcohol in the world to help me cope with tomorrow.  I almost vom'd this morning thinking about the possible outcome.

For a few weeks there I was confident HRC had this. Now I'm not so confident and have real anxiety. I don't even know if I'll be able to watch as results come in. I might have to keep the TVs off and stay off social media and check after midnight.

Our ok to wake clock should be here on Wednesday, and the sleep giraffe with the star projections arrives today. I'm hoping that might soothe him.

Semi-related: I used to think skirt suits were stupid until I realized short people have to get all pantsuits hemmed. And pants get way more wrinkly when you sit than skirts. Now I wear only skirt suits.

chrispy1122 if you're really short, the skirts need hemmed too. At least the petite options usually work.

And he was 10lbs! That's with clothes but still. He was 8 at his 5 day appt. he'll be 3 weeks Wednesday.

I don't have a ton of details, but my dad just had an MRI done a few hours ago. He has a brain tumor.

ETA: I'm going to post and run, but I'll try to update this when I have more info.

I hope it isn't serious. My mom had one removed when she was younger and it wasn't cancerous, so hopefully it's something similar for your dad and there isn't something more worrisome going on. Keep us posted.

Thanks everyone. They are giving him steroids tonight to bring the swelling in his brain down and tbey will evaluate things in the morning. He actually wrecked his car this morning while he was on the way to his MRI appointment. He missed his exit and started backing up on the interstate and a large truck plowed into him. That is very atypical behavior and most likely a result of the tumor's affect on him.



The tumor is in the center about 3-4 mm back from the front on hid brain and 3-4cm large. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. I'll let you know when I know more.
