Week/Team/Fruit:
Appointments this week?
Symptoms?
Rants/Raves/Questions:
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate?
Week/Team/Fruit: 35(tomorrow) - team green - pineapple
Appointments this week? Weekly check up tomorrow morning... I had G at 34w6d so tomorrow will be the most pregnant I've ever been. I'm working from home today, and was able to relax quite a bit over the weekend so I'm hoping that my BP will be okay and that my protein levels haven't gone up.
Symptoms? Heartburn, BH, pelvic discomfort, lower back pain, mild headaches, I'm sure there's more
Rants/Raves/Questions: My doctor wants me working from home as of today, which is fine... but my boss doesn't know how HR will like it bc technically in my position they don't allow you to work from home full time since my team depends on me being in the office. (Even though they can instant message or call me)... so, they might make me go on maternity leave. I should find out today, but I'm really gonna be irritated if they do... that's 2 weeks of full paychecks that I could still get before going on STD and only getting 80% of my pay. Ugh. We'll see what they say this afternoon.
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate? -- Thankfully, we do share the same views and will be voting for the same candidate!
Appointments this week? First NST this afternoon, OB appointment Friday
Symptoms? Um....I'm huge. That is all.
Rants/Raves/Questions: The two sets of twins born on Nov. 16 got me really excited. Like, I'm having 2 babies, 2 weeks from today!
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate?
So....I thought we did. And then this election happened. We will not be voting for the same candidate tomorrow. And unless I am literally pushing my babies out, I will be at the polls.

I hope they approve you working from home, hmr11913! I think my WFH arrangement has been really beneficial for these last few weeks of my pregnancy and has kept me a bit more relaxed.

Week/Team/Fruit: 33w1d/Blue/Celery...this might actually work for length..if we kept the leaves on maybe the weight?
Appointment: Nothing till next week, for my normal rinky dinky run of the mill "oh your measuring right on time". That is just a stomach measurement and then there is the HB. I really wish we could get a damn US. I don't think I get that till like two more appointments..grrr.
Symptoms: Heartburn, pelvic pains, diaphragm muscle pulling and sore, constipation...only thing going for me is the fact that my freaking skin is clearing up on my face..
Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel like I am always ranting. Lets try a Rave, I am actually getting things done around the house that need to be done. DD actually slept through the night but only cause I put her back in her crib. I was ashamed at first but you know what...I DON"T CARE. We are going back to the crib and we will try our big girl bed at a later time when mommy and daddy are not so dependent on sleep. OHHHHH we had our maternity/family shoot yesterday..hoping for the best. Won't see pics till probably next week. whomp whomp.
QUESTION: STM any of you tried the baby Mamaroo...I see all the FTM are jumping on this bandwagon. I wanted to know if you saw a good outcome from them? We use Swing and RNP.
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate. Well this is a fiery question...lol. My DH does not, you ready for this, vote. He feels that he has no connection with either candidate and that we live in a state where our vote doesn't necessarily matter. The electoral college will make their decision. I do vote. I do have someone in mind for my vote. DH and I don't really get into politic talks we have similar but then again different views on the direction that should be taken for our country on certain things. The fact that my DH kind of dismisses himself from the polls and the whole election thing it never really comes up..which probably helps for a happy house. HAHA.
hmr11913 , So jealous of your 35w. I am also totally going to not like you for like 15secs if you have this lil one in the next week or so. I am really hoping mine decides to make an early arrival it would make me a very very happy mom. I am just done with being preggers...6 1/2w sounds like a decade away. I KNOW 20-30 weeks would be worse. lol. I hope that you can work from home and not cut into your paid time. Lucky you on getting paid leave, FEDs we don't get that luxury but I can take up to 6m without worry of losing my job. So I guess there is give and takes.
Good luck at your NST today requiressnacks !!! Do they make you keep track of which baby is moving and when, or can you tell??
Honestly, I have no clue how this works! They are sending me to the MFM to have it done, so I'm hoping I don't have to keep track myself. I have a general idea of who is moving and when, but it's really hard to tell.
WineNChocolate I've read horrible reviews of the mamaroo. I've read and heard they break easily and aren't worth the money. I haven't met anyone who got one that still has it.
WineNChocolate, who cares on the crib is what I say...whatever works! We were going to put G in a toddler bed since she will be 18 months when baby comes so we can re-use the crib, but then I thought why would I when she doesn't crawl out of it yet? We're keeping her locked up as long as possible. HA! We did not get a mamaroo.... hellllooooo expensive. We did what you did... the RNP (which I LOVE and she loved) and then also a little table top swing which I also loved, it was so easy to move around from room to room with me while I did shit.
With how I've been feeling, I def. would not mind having this baby early... at this point, I figure everything would be okay but I do know that realistically baby should stay in there a week or two longer just to make sure. I'm on the progesterone injections though until 37 weeks and that's supposed to prevent you from going into labor early. (or help anyway).... I just am ready to not be pregnant anymore either, as crappy as that sounds.... I can barely even sleep. I'd rather feel normal in my body and awake with a newborn than feeling like a blimp and barely able to do anything.
Week/Team/Fruit: 35/pink - OMG She's due in less than 5 weeks!!!
Appointments this week? None, last week without an OB appointment!!
Symptoms? Well the groin pain is still raging, I think it's just not going to go away until this baby is out. Otherwise, I'm still just tiring out easily and sometimes feeling really uncomfortable if I'm too full. And although I'm a little frustrated with the symptoms, I feel like I've been so lucky with symptoms this entire pregnancy, it's actually pretty ridiculous.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm starting to get nervous that baby will decide to make an early appearance. Anyone else feeling this way? She's so active in there and sometimes I just get the feeling like she's ready and willing to get this show on the road. Could be all in my head, though... probably has nothing to do with the likelihood that she'll be early!
GTKY: We do share many/most of the same political views, thank goodness. And those views are 100% opposite from pretty much everyone in our families. We will definitely be voting for the same candidate tomorrow. I tend to be able to change my husband's mind pretty easily on smaller issues, but the big picture is a no-brainer for us.
Anyone else nervous about having to wait in line tomorrow? The only other time I've voted on election day was super fast and smooth, and we're going back to the same place... but I worry that the line is going to be slow and long this year.

hmr11913, that same thought has definitely crossed my mind. I am 36 weeks and pretty freaking miserable. A small part of me was thinking this morning how nice it would be to deliver this week. (and I'm already delivering early at 38 weeks!) The rational part of my brain knows that the longer they stay inside, the better, but there's always that irrational part of my brain....
WineNChocolate, I understand your husband's thoughts on this, but at the end of the day, I still vote. I may not feel that it really matters, but I do it anyway. Maybe one day you can drag him into it
hmr11913, I think I missed something about the current state of your ute! Running off to stalk your posts, hoping you can keep that baby cooking for another week or two. And I can also do my job completely from home, but that's just not our office culture, unfortunately. So frustrating!
requiressnacks, sorry your DH isn't voting for your candidate. Just think of your vote as canceling his out
Symptoms? Other than my weird BP on Friday, which I'm keeping an eye on, Baby is either camping incredibly low in my pelvis or up in my rib cage. Also, based on her movements and my back pains with her movements, I think she's posterior. It's not a huge deal since I (hopefully) won't be going into labor and I know she has time to turn around if I were planning on it, but man, it sucks. It's uncomfortable as crap when she moves because of it.
Rants/Raves/Questions: It's my 37th birthday today! If you'd told me on my 36th birthday that I'd be this close to having a baby by my next birthday I would have thought you were on some heavy drugs. I still can't believe I'm not only having a baby (we were SOOOOOO done), but I'm having one at 37. When I hit 33/34 I had just resigned myself to no more babies. I feel like I've been given such an amazing gift to be able to go through this miserable uncomfortable experience again, AND to be having such a different healthy pregnancy compared to my first 2.
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate? -- When we first met, he was a fairly right leaning hardcore Christian. I was not, but we accepted these things about each other, and just chose to not really discuss them. Surprisingly, it's possible to make a relationship like this work, lol. THEN, about 6 years ago, H sat me down for a "very serious" conversation and said he'd been really battling with himself over the past few years and was questioning, not only his religious views, but his political views (which had really gone hand in hand) as well. So, the conservative Christian I married has evolved into a really liberal atheist. It's been an incredibly interesting journey to watch.
So, all that to say, yes, we share the same views (although I was actually a Bernie supporter who became a "Okay, Hillary I guess" person to a #IMWITHHER! supporter, and he was pretty pro-Hil from the start) and will be voting for the same candidate.

So....I thought we did. And then this election happened. We will not be voting for the same candidate tomorrow. And unless I am literally pushing my babies out, I will be at the polls.
I read Nov. 16 as a date, and then started searching our threads to see who had their babies. Then I realized that today is the 7th and you are referring to the N16 group.
WineNChocolate, I've heard horrible reviews of the mamaroo. Everyone I know who had one with their first wound up returning it or it broke. I stick with the tried and true brands that have been around forever (like Graco) and have a reputation for quality. Especially since we knew we would not be one and done (we're not even done after 2), so we wanted products that we knew would last for the years we have babies.
Winnifred, nothing too big going on.... I had G spontaneously at 34w6d so we are assuming, although don't know, that this baby will come early too. I'm on progesterone injections though to prevent that (or try) until 37 weeks.... but lately I've been retaining alot of water, my BP has been a little high and I have protein in my urine. Although my protein level was a 60 and mrsp's was 1,000 at her induction so I'm not thinking they'd induce me early unless it really rises. We'll see what the DR says tomorrow!
Week/Team/Fruit: 33wk/Pink/Not sure on fruit, but a ferret apparently
Appointments this week? Nothing this week
Symptoms? She's up in my ribs a lot, it makes sitting at my desk hard.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I got a lot of to-do list stuff done this weekend. We're down to a lot of DH's list and then waiting for my shower at work.
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate? We are generally on the same page and definitely voted for the same candidate this time around. Sometimes we disagree on fiscal stuff but otherwise we agree on pretty much everything else.

Ugh. Someone please send coffee.
ha! I could have been more clear. It is Monday after all....yawn.

Winnifred, requiressnacks, I know my hubs should vote. I have said this a million times and so has his family and friends. I feel like out of all the battles we could have that is one that is not worth too much effort. We still believe in the same type of morals and ethics and I think that matters.
@cahistoryteacher, kaydee0402, okay so the Mamaroo is more of a new fad...like the owlet. I see them everywhere and I am just like am I missing something maybe this company does need my money? lol. In DHs words..or not and you are just sucked into well paid advertising. lol
Lucy, OH and happy happy birthday LUCY!! How old are your other two if you don't mind me asking? How do you feel about having 3. DH and I always talked about 3..and he asks now are we still going for three and I am like..um talk to me after. lol.
@kc295905, OMG I read "I am not due till next week" and I was like WHAT, wait a minute it says 35w. Did you scheduled a C-section already?!!? what is going on?!!? lol.
hmr11913, thanks for the support..when I brought the pack n play up to test if it was the bed..I really did feel like I was letting her down by putting her back in a crib. But its so stressful her getting up and crying and then coming to the door and freaking out. DH and I weren't sleeping the whole house was in disarray mentally.

Week/Team/Fruit: 33 weeks/pink/cauliflower
Appointments this week? none -- nothing until the 21st
Symptoms? Just so much heartburn. Also I cannot stop eating salad! But I also need something sweet every day.
Rants/Raves/Questions: My mother is being annoying. When I was on the phone with her yesterday and telling her everything that has to get done (not just baby, just like the holidays and LIFE) she was saying "You have time" and "It isn't even December yet." Um lady, I have a four year old, a full-time job, two holidays to plan and a baby to get ready for. And every day that passes I get more tired and slow down. So yeah, I don't want to wait until December. She's coming for the weekend so am hoping she'll see just how much is on my plate/how enormous I am.
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate? Yes, same political views but I'm more extreme. We'll be voting for the same candidate. Lucy, I your "really liberal atheist" husband! Happy birthday!!

WineNChocolate, I bought a used Mamaroo to see if we like it. Last time DS was on me constantly to sleep so am hoping this will help. I'd like to get a swing, but the Mamaroo footprint is so much smaller -- a must in our tiny home!
WineNChocolate, on the flip side everyone I know who has used the owlet loves it! Especially if their kiddo had any sort of issues in the beginning or couldn't room-in with them. One of my friends, her girl has esophageal issues and it was nice to have constant information for her. The owlet certainly isn't a necessity, and I think I would definitely start to obsess over checking stats but I know a lot of people who love it, or those monitors that are similar to it.
Happy Birthday Lucy! I missed that on my first read through.
Appointments this week? Baby Growth Measure US and NST on Thursday
Symptoms? Oh, symptoms, HUGENESS, HB, discomfort, constipation, misery but this morning I feel awesome. Hope it lasts
Rants/Raves/Questions: OK, I'm so glad I found this board because I feel so similar to most of the posts. Confession - I have been hoping that my blood pressure goes up just so I can go have this kid. Mostly because I am miserable in the evenings, then can't sleep and then wake up to face stupid work the next day. I want my 9 weeks with my baby NOW!. I'm the most impatient person I know. However, I got to work this morning and got to see some coworkers and then came on here and read for a couple hours, so I can't complain. LOL Oh and celebration! I got all my freezer meals done and I really don't have anything else on my to do list. Just take it easy and let her grow until they induce December 1. I'm bored, but I can't commit to anything and then run out of energy. GTKY: Yep, same vote and did it early and mailed it in right away because the last time we did that our dog ate the ballots so we're pretty sure he's on the other team. LOL

Week/Team/Fruit: 34/blue/butternut squash?
Appointments this week? OB appt Thursday. I think this may be the start of my weekly appointments! Eeeek!
Symptoms? My wrist is definitely hurting more, and I'm getting tired/worn out quicker. I definitely am starting to feel pregnant, lol.
Rants/Raves/Questions:
GTKY: Do you and your partner share the same political views? For the Americans in the crowd, do you anticipate you'll both be voting for the same candidate? We do, and we are. I can't wait until this whole thing is over!

hmr11913, FX that they let you work from home without having to start your mat. leave. That's some BS right there. requiressnacks, I hope your appointment goes well today!
