Since we are working our way out of the Merlin, I'm curious what your babies sleep in.
She is in cotton footie pjs and a cotton sleep sack tonight but I just feel like that's not warm enough. Everything I read says they should be in one layer more than you. I'm in a tank top but have a comforter....
My house in at 72 and it's in the 60's at night here now. It can dip down in to the 40s and 50s.
So, what are your kids sleeping in? I'm paging helloerrbody and birkmmm since I know you are warm weather mammas too.

Baby I sweats and fusses in regular jammies so he sleeps in a long sleeve onesie only. We keep our heat at 68 all night and I'm sure he gets warm from sleeping between me and H. His diaper and legs sometimes gets covered by our blanket.
We are in Florida - baby sleeps in footed cotten PJs and a cotton sleep sack. We may do fleece footed PJs in a colder weather (December-February) with the same cotton sleep sack.

Footed pj's and sleep sack, depending on temps. I'll do either cotton or fleece pj's, again depending on temps. Right now the sleep sack is cotton but as we move into the winter we'll pull out the fleece one. We keep the house pretty cool in the winter.

I'm in NE and if it is cold out i do either fleece pjs and a cotton sleep sack or cotton pjs and a fleece sleep sack. We keep our heat at 65 at night and he seems to be fine.
westiemom, we just do footed pajamas ...we keep it pretty cool in our house. now that its getting a little colder out we will just use the thicker fleece like footed pajamas. ry sleeps with a blanket too ... i know i know thats a no no
Cotton footed PJs and a cotton sleep sack. We keep it pretty cool in our house and his hands are sometimes cold in the middle of the night. Otherwise he seems fine.
We keep our house around 68 in the wintertime. He sleeps in footed PJs (or if not footed, we put socks on him) and a cotton sleep sack. His hands sometimes get cold if he chews on them, but we tried putting socks on his hands and it just made it worse bc they stayed wet longer.
We are in upstate NY. We do Cotton or fleece pjs with a cotton sleep sack. When it gets super cold/frigid we have fleece sleep sacks. I always say better chilly than overheated and I'm sure she'll let me know if she's uncomfortable.
We either do a cotton footed zipper sleeper or onesie and muslin sleep sack. On colder nights I'll do a fleece sleeper. Once it's even colder, I'll do a fleece sleep sack over a sleeper. If their hands or noses seem cold at night, you should dress them warmer. If sweaty, cooler. I agree with PPs, they will let you know if they are uncomfortable.
