Teachers are off today so DS and I are hanging out. He's currently pulling his plastic chair up onto the chair, I'm assuming so e can stand up on the chair since he is a 13mo old daredevil.
Later we will go to Babies R Us and maybe Panera for lunch after we vote.
ETA: He didn't climb onto the chair but close enough

No school today so I'm enjoying a lazy day with hopefully some bouts of productivity. MA has early voting so I already voted and don't need to worry about that today.
Feeling pretty miserable today and not motivated to work! I didn't vote early because my election day polling place is in a neighbor's garage. Haha. So easy. So that'll be happening after work.
Voted and successfully did not puke while doing so. #winning
I work from home and am now laying down for a bit. I'm working on the motivation to get moving and head out to at least one hospital today. My stuff really won't sell itself so I do have to be a productive human at some point.
Was sent home sick today, didn't even fight it, spending the day binge watching Netflix and waiting to see how many American roommates I'll be able to collect. I have a beautiful house in northern rural Canada, only down side is it's cold, might want to bring a winter jacket. Oh and I apologize in advance for my elitist white supremist family members who are voting for Trump, no amount of convincing has changed their minds

ihatepizza - No worries about your family. I know my dad voted for Trump and I suspect my mom might have followed his lead even though we talked multiple times about how bad he is and HRC's qualifications. She won't say who she voted for, so that's why I suspect she put in another sad vote in their swing state.
I would gladly join you in Canada! We live in Chicago so are used to the cold.
My dad also voted for Trump, and I think one of my sisters did too. I was voter number 9 at my polling place this morning. I'm in a rural district, and there are never lines. I can't imagine having to find the time to wait in line for hours. I'd probably vote absentee if I lived somewhere like that.
pinecone21 - We voted early mostly because H can never vote on the actual day due to his work hours. Also because it was super easy and we could choose the day and time we went. We waited all of 45 seconds for a booth to open up. The lines people are posting look insane. I read an interesting but disheartening article about how voter suppression laws and policies are causing the lines as many states reduced the number of polling places and/or the days/hours people can vote.
marshian, I'm hopeful that people like your mom (women married to Trump supporters) will be secretly voting for Clinton, but that wouldn't be reflected in polls. That's probably wishful thinking, though

My ILs voted Trump but MA is likely a blue state anyway so it won't matter. I know my grandmother and some other family in KY are voting Trump but that's probably a red state anyway. We just don't discuss politics with extended family.
Last night I said to H what if he was voting for Trump and I clearly was not. Like I honestly don't know what I would do if I was married to someone who supported a candidate who was so full of hate.
I'm pretty sure my whole family voted Trump. Three are in a swing state. They kept pushing for me to do the same until I calmly explained that as a mother to a young girl I could not in good faith vote for someone so blatantly disrespectful of woman. I was then asked to give examples of when he had ever disrespected women...and I did. I don't think it changed their opinion though.
I have to sell our Adele tickets for tomorrow night. I keep hearing how great the show is, so it's a bummer, but DH is headed to NYC for work, and I don't want to go by myself or with a friend. I don't like being away from DD at bed time, but am totally willing to do it for a date night. Otherwise, meh.

Oh that stinks!!!! I wish I could've seen her this tour but the dates didn't work well for us. I saw her years ago after her first album in a small club and that may be the only time I get the chance. I had tickets again and then she cancelled all those shows when she had throat surgery. That was a big bummer. I'm sure you can make some big money on your tickets though! 😉

I'm going to bed in an hour because that's my new pregnancy/Unisom bedtime. My parents and brother will be texting me as the election results come in and I'll be sleeping. They are going to seriously question why I couldn't stay awake past 8:30pm since they don't know I'm pregnant.
cheezee that's so sad! we did end up making $400 on our tickets, so maybe we'll go on a nice date next weekend. it's crazy - i sold them on an aggie football board, and the guy who bought them works in the same building 3 floors below me! it made it super easy!
