Tomorrow we are going shopping and to out to lunch. DH is actually buying me a ring with R's birthstone for Valentine's Day. We don't usually exchange gifts, but we didn't do Christmas gifts for each other this year, so we decided to do something a little extravagant. So, he's taking me to pick one out! I got him an xbox one. We are also buying R his anywhere chair from PBK for his first birthday present (cue tears).
Tomorrow night - we are going to make R his own dinner and put him to bed. Then, DH is going to cook me dinner (which has only happened one time in nine years), and I will make dessert. Then, we will probably open a bottle of wine and watch a movie.
No plans... DH is still getting over whatever he has. Two days this week he has slept all day until he had to get up to go to work, two others days he got mandated overnight, so again, slept all day. Today A woke up with a 102.7 fever and promptly vomited on me
DH has to work tomorrow, so I'm hoping I can get Sunday 'off'. I'm exhausted!

We have a birthday party tomorrow, and then DH is heading OOT for work. We almost never get anything for each other on Valentine's Day, but I know that he set up manis/pedis for a couple of my friends and me in a couple weeks.

In a shocking, totally different turn of events.... It's supposed to snow here this weekend! HAHAA. We always celebrate Valentines Day at home - so it won't effect much.
Tomorrow - I am really hoping we will be making a stop at the Accountants to get our taxes signed so they can be efiled stat. (Note, these were supposed to be done Wednesday - timeliness is not her strong suit)...... Tomorrow night - I entered to win a free meal from our favorite meat market! This would make my V-tines Day..... If not DH Told me he was going to surpsise me with takeout from my favorite Italian Place.... although I am not sure if he was telling me that because he was going to bag with the weather.... No matter what - I'm sure we will have a nice night with a good meal.
Sunday - no plans.
Sadly we are also waiting for DH's Grandmother to literally go at any point (note - she is 98 or 99, it's been a damn good run!). Selfishly I Am hoping she hangs on until Monday. Tuesday we have our n/t scan and Wednesday is DH's Bday - and I REALLY dont want to be at her funeral on his birthday.
ALso karabear4409, - my DH gave me a birthstone ring my first Mothers Day. Not even joking, it's my most prized possession. I love the actual ring - but moreso what it stands for!!!!! Hope you like yours just as much.
No major plans for V day since we have DS. He goes to bed around 7:30 though so well do something special at home with just us. I told DH that the night is young after DS sleeps tomorrow night. We can enjoy Valentine's Day. He said wow, it sounds like you're wanting some baby making time. My response: Silly DH, that's not how we make babies in this house. He was not amused. Lol.

Tomorrow we are heading to our local Bass Pro Shop as they have free family stuff going on this weekend. Crafts for kids, workshops for adults, a fish fry. I think it'll be fun. Hubby and I are gonna cekebrate Valentines Day during the week using some gift cards we have. It just makes more semse for us to celebrate after the actual date cuz things are much cheaper.

luvboston Well around here in the mid-atlantic, we get told it's going to snow a ton, and then instead it snows on you guys!!!
My Valentine's weekend got off to an early start - DS came home fine from daycare on Thursday and then the stomach bug hit that night big time. 99% of the time, DH is the parent who does sick days since he doesn't have to write sub plans, but this time he had some important stuff going on so I wrote sub plans at midnight laying in the hallway while the poor toddler slept on the bathroom floor.
Friday we stayed home, luckily in a post illness daze but no longer actively sick.
Today we're home again - IL's offered to babysit so we could go out to dinner, but we canceled that to attempt to keep the germs in house. I did stop by the grocery store and buy stuff to make both cheese and chocolate fondue tonight. 4 chocolate covered strawberries at store = $9.99 but a whole pound of berries and a bag of chocolate chips was only $4.
