I'm up at a (semi)reasonable 630...I tried to put him back down by failed. The nice pay is he didn't seem to have any bad reaction to his flu shot, he was pretty much business as usual. I stayed up too late watching Tabletop, I need the coffee, but I have to grind it, and DH is still sleeping (he needs it so I'm trying to keep quiet) Swim class later! Then I have to get a mega grocery done. Our cupboard looks bare!

I'm going shopping out of town with my mom today, so H is manning the wild by himself allllll day. I'm excited 🤗 I hope I can get some Christmas shopping accomplished today.

Morning! We don't have plans today. We're going over to a friend's house for old-folks/young-parents dinner (4pm, so we can be done and home in time for bed.. ha) but that's it!
Last night, we went Santa's arrival at some town square nearby. They also had fireworks for Veteran's Day. Because those two holidays totally go together. I'm usually anti-christmas-before-turkey, but... kids, man.
My H made a game out of the baby trying to grab the nightlight and then getting scooped up and tickled. So, I guess I get to undo it now. The dad=fun and mom=discipline starts already.

I can't breath through my nose and generally feel crummy. SS is with his mom this weekend, so DH and I are taking advantage and generally being lazy today. Watching X-men apocalypse while L naps. We also got Tarzan, which in excited for, though I will have to contain my Alexander Skarsgard ogling around DH, hehe.
I took the kids grocery shopping today because I had to stop by the pharmacy to let them know DD is allergic to sulfamethoxazole now. The doctor said to keep giving her benedryl for the next 2-3 days to make sure her rash goes away. So she was pretty mellow on this trip lol.
I was also going to buy our fake Christmas tree with my last 20% off coupon, but I forgot it at home. No tree yet I guess.
I'm also trying a new recipe tonight. Chicken crepes.
My mom used to make them alllll the time, and I loved them. Problem is, the recipe calls for wine or sherry. I don't have either in the house. My mom said I could add extra chicken boullion to the sauce to give extra flavour instead of the alcohol. So that's what I did. I'm hoping it still turns out.
Remind me to pick up dry white wine for the next time I make this recipe.
Hello! Busy day so far. This morning we went to the funeral, in which everyone seemed to be in a pretty good mood considering. Then we had to run and get the girls so that I could get ready for work. I'm now at work and actually have things to do.

We had swim this morning and after that Magoo took a 3 HOUR NAP!!! He was exhausted obviously. So I took a nap too, Since then we did a mega grocery run, and he was super well behaved. Now he's getting all his energy out running around with his walker.

We've had a good time on our mini vacation. DS has somehow managed to be in a decent mood despite sleeping like crap on the 1/2 inch hotel crib mattress. Lots of sightseeing and such. Glad to be getting home tomorrow though because it's been harder and harder to get him to go to sleep in the hotel crib. At bedtime tonight he fell asleep on me rather than in the crib which hadn't happened in oh, 6 months, so I think he's ready to get back to his regular bed too.
Meh. I really only do them for the folic acid. Vitamins are a serious joke. You pee out most of it.
Ok? Then don't take them? That's just the recommendation for breastfeeding women.
I know. Sorry I wasn't being snarky. I quit taking them when I was going through the PPA and couldn't remember to take them. I guess I'm just wanting validation for taking folic acid before really starting to TTC...

I've never stopped taking them while bf. I would start again if I were you. Folic acid needs time to build up if I remember correctly so start now.

I figure it doesn't hurt to take them, so why not. You should do it!

Just buy the folic acid supplement. I only took that and a fish oil supplement (because I eat very little fish), and my OBs and midwives were cool with it. Because yeah, while folic acid has proven usefulness, everything else ... not so much. So long as you're eating well!

Yea. If I remember right, you're technically supposed to start taking them 4 months before getting knocked up. Obviously most people don't do this and they're just fine, but I'm pretty sure that's the recommendation I've seen and heard.

Hopefully it'll be at least 4 months before I'm KU, but with the infertility I'm not going to put any restrictions on it.
This morning I left my house slightly after 8am and returned at 5. I had left 3 prepared bottles for DD, her lunch foods and supper (just in case). H wanted me to jot down our schedule, because frankly he's not been left with her all day long before. So I wrote down the times we do naps and what time she eats, along with what to feed her.
I nursed her at 7:30 this morning. Left 3 bottles for him. I got home and she had eaten 2 oz out of one bottle. The other 2 bottles were in the fridge. WTF dude? From 7:30 am to 5 pm she's only had 2 oz?!?! He's like, "she ate a lot of lunch." Well for one, if you looked on the schedule I wrote for you (like he asked me to) he would have seen she should have had a bottle even before lunch. And he fed her the lunch and half of the supper foods. So yeah. Didn't listen (or read) at all. How the fuck she wasn't freaking out on him all day is beyond me. Because she took those 2 oz before her nap at 1 and had nothing until I fed her after 5. 😡
