Well we started the day a little early but not terribly so.... They just threw a pair of pretty epic tantrums because I didn't get bottles fast enough. W just kept running from the living room to the kitchen and back, grabbing my leg and sobbing. But the boy.... he opted for banging his face into the floor. First very cautiously on the hardwood, then harder on the foam tile, then (accidentally I think) really hard on the hardwood, always looking up at me in tears for a reaction. Toddlers!!!!!

that totally sounds like something that F would do!
It's my first back at work! The kids have been going part time to their daycare the last couple weeks so I am hoping that helps them with the transition. They will be there for 9.5 hours today. It will be hardest for DS who hasn't been to daycare before and is still breastfeeding.
On a positive note, it feels really good to put on some real clothes and makeup. I've spent the year in yoga pants and rarely take the time to brush my hair.

Good morning! I've been out of commission for the past week because last Tuesday morning, I broke my foot!I was dropping off E and MIL took E to walk down the stairs of their porch. I went to walk down before them and maybe I missed the last step, or my ankle rolled but I fell off the last step and broke my left foot. I'm in a cast til the end of the month. I go back to the orthopedist on the 30th and hopefully the xrays will show I can take off the cast and use the walking boot. This past week has just sucked ass. I feel so helpless. I've been trying to figure out ways to carry things while on crutches. Mostly i just shove things in my cleavage.
It's my first day back at work and I made it to my office. So one hurdle crossed.

So for me- we had major server issues at work so they had to send us home today! Yay!
I only pumped 1 day last week (I was only in office 3 days though). I'm still debating as to what I want to do. I thought I couldn't wait to be done with the pump, which is true but I still like being able to send C with some BM to DC. My freezer stash isnt depleted yet but it probably will be by Thanksgiving unless I pump.

I realized today that I met my year goal and that I could technically stop pumping! My boobs would kill me so I'm going to continue with 2x a day this week and then try 1x next week. I'm a little torn though too, which surprised me

Who's totally off bottles? I think we're done. I nurse when I'm w him and he gets cups at DC. So here's to another bittersweet moment- packing up bottles for good this time.
First day at work was good, but when work ended I decided to run to my car and fell on the concrete and skinned my knee. Lol
DS was pretty emotional when he saw me and cried a lot and it was a challenge to get get him in he car seat. My four year old refused to go home with me because she wanted to colour. Finally made it home.
Haii ladies! We're officially moved in to our new house minus a few minor things at our old house and boxes EVERYWHERE. C is walking now! We're still toothless though..

Haiii!
E loves babies. A friend of mine with a 3mo old came over today and she wouldn't stop kissing her. I know who's getting a baby doll for Christmas!
littleowl913 that's awful!!!! T&Ps you heal quickly!! Is it a bad break?
T&Ps for your grandpa ldubhawksfan !!! I can't believe we have tickets toddlers. Omg.
yummeecookee we are still bottle strong. I really want to move to cups during the day but it feels really intimidating. I also don't want it to cause any cleaning issues for my very OCD mom. Any advice?

We're 6mo in ours and I've got a storage room that is nothing but boxes! Yes it's s storage area but I'd still like a little organization to it. Good luck.

I really struggled dropping from 2x a day- I ended up taking sudafed to help dry up my supply. Clogged ducts and mastitis at the end seemed like a cruel joke.

Actually DC made it happen a lot faster for us sunfrogger88. I had been sending the mix of bottles and cups like I've talked about. But I noticed in his daily sheet, they write that they'd just serve my bottled milk in cups. So tomorrow I'm just sending all cups.

Omg guise. This day. I made great progress on unpacking boxes today but my children; oh sweet baby Jesus. Long story short they were both so exhausted by the end of the day they were both in bed by 6:30. I'm too pregnant to drink as much as I need to right now so I'm basically eating a whole pie. DH is gone again for 2 weeks of training. I needed my tap out partner today.
Thank god MIL is taking DD1 tomorrow. DD2 is all I can take right now. The moving transition has made my clingy child want to crawl back inside me to be close enough for her. I shudder when I think about having 3 at this point. I know it will get better but right now I'd rather be pregnant forever.

Thanks sunfrogger88,the bone is displaced so it's at least an extra week longer in the cast. But he said it's "not bad." It seems pretty bad because I'm miserable and exhausted. My arms and shoulders are killing me. I was so exhausted last night, I went to bed with E but couldn't fall asleep because I had dead arm in both my arms. Ugh. Plus it's rainy so it just adds to my mood.
