I came home from Michigan with about 10 shopping bags and my SIL's snotty nose and sore throat. I got up to pee at 12:30, the dog did the same at 1:30, and ds was up for the day at 5:30. I think I'll be going to bed at approximately 5pm tonight.
We have two appointments in town today, the ultrasound on little boy's heart and a general check up, and of course today was the one day the couldn't schedule both appointments in the same hospital. Luckily I think we'll have enough time between them to eat, and we have coupons.
We're taking MIL with us, since she has some stuff to get done in the city as well. Fun...
DS has been up since the asscrack of dawn but I am making him stay in his room until a normal time (which I guess is now but hes quiet so...). I tried laying in bed with him but he just wanted to babble and poke my face. There's another perk of giving DS a double bed. I can actually fit in it if he has a bad night.
My mom and brother are visiting Friday to Saturday so I have lots of cleaning up to do this week. I have been having some intense back pain though so I am going to take it slow and steady.
Also, DS is officially in 5t clothes, at the ripe age 2.5 My mom took him shopping for some winter stuff yesterday and that was the size he needed. Frustrating because I got a lot of clothes on-sale earlier in the year that he won't get to wear now.

My mid-morning snack consists of Muddy Buddies. Just waiting on the nurse from my health insurance company to call me for our "phone appointment" I think these are silly.
Good luck at your appointments Quinstar. and with your MIL.

I have the phone appointments too lol. Whenever I ask the nurse a question, she is like "hmmm...I'm not sure about that; make sure you ask your doctor at your next appointment." So helpful.

I think this will be us in the future! DS is 17.5m and firmly in 2t clothes and size 7 shoes. I basically buy nothing more than a few months ahead now.
I have an old friend of mine on fb and some days I just want to block her out of jelousy. She just spent time over halloween in Hawaii and then went directly to Mexico and is still there. They are on their 3rd home in 3yrs (each looks better than the last) and her and her H are clearly doing very well for themselves. I love my life, even during the tough times, so I wouldn't trade it.... But damn lol.

Sounds about right. I'm starting to wonder what life will be like for him as a teen. If he's like my 6'11" cousin, DS will have one hell of a time finding clothes.

Holy crap!! Yeah good luck with that lol. There isn't anyone quite that tall in my family so fx that isn't in our future. Although, my dad was adopted so there is some unknown, but he isnt even 6ft.

Genetics is funny.
Every man on my dads side is 6'3" and over. DH's dad is the same hight as mine, 6'6", but DH and my mom are 4'11" and 5'1". Kinda hoping for a "normal" sizes kid this time around. Lol

OH! DH's weekend alone did wonders for him in the baby name discussion department. He went to a friends' wedding solo and said he got teary eyed when the dad was walking the bride down the aisle and when they did the father-daughter dance. We now have a list of 5 names that we are actively testing, his favorite being Charlie. I prefer the Charlee spelling I think to make it "more girlish" but we'll see!

You're so right. My moms side are all on the higher end of average. Even her sister is about 6ft. Meanwhile, my mom is only 5ft. She is the youngest of 5 so the running joke is that by the time my grandma had her that the only genes left were shorts. I think about genetics a lot in regards to physical appearance. I am always fascinated by siblings who are basically doppelgangers of one another, or of their parents. On my mom's side, they all have some similar traits but none of them really look a ton alike. My brother and I used to look very similar as small kids but not much at all anymore. Meanwhile, my brother's ex boyfriend was his fathers twin, and his sister was their mom's twin. It was uncanny. Their dad was irish and their mom is greek so xbf and his sister looked nothing alike.

I really like Charlie for a girl! but I may be biased because my cousin's name is Charlotte and we have always called her Charlie. Also your Hs sentimentality at the father daughter stuff is adorable. Glad you've got some names in the works!
oh Monday, you never disappoint. my H has a wicked cough so he was up most of the night (which means I was up.) DD also woke up 2 or 3 times yelling for me. she has a cough too.
I'm drinking way too much caffeine today. plus work is stressful. plus we are having issues with our DCP. do not need this much stress in my life right now. November can go away.

He is pretty adorable. I think he is coming to terms with the fact that he is completely and utterly screwed when it comes to her.
I'm loving Charlie too, even the common spelling. I never suggested it because I didn't think he would like it so I was really shocked when he selected it as a favorite on the app that I use.

It would suck to move 3 times in 3 years. I'm sure they didn't do the packing, but still. I like knowing where things are.
Not sure if that makes it any better for you
Lol maybe just a little They're both wonderful, hard working people (at least, they were in HS and make themselves to appear that way on fb still). So at least there is no "damn them and their awesome lives being handed to them" involved.
My great grandma passed away today. She was 98 and just didn't wake up--just about one of the most peaceful ways you can go, but still it is sad. I know I was fortunate to know her at all but I do wish I had known her better. She made kickass candy that I recall gorging on when I was 8 years old.
There seems to be something going around right now callmeKD. DS also has a cough that kept us up all night. I hope the day (and month!) gets easier for you.
Feel free to spare me happy thoughts y'all. I visited the school nurse today because I was light headed and having heart palpitations. I have an appointment first thing on Weds morning and I'm feeling okay now but between my seemingly broken pelvis and all this, I think I am done with November.
I'm not trying to bring this randoms down but I also needed to add that IF ONE MORE PERSON comments on my belly size, I am going to be on the nightly news for assault. I will throw a chair Jerry Springer style at the next person who fuckin dares
Hope Monday is being kind to everyone. I'm running on a few hours of sleep thanks to a rough night from DS. And I just had a massive pregnancy nosebleed. Ugh.
In happier news, a stranger asked me when I was due yesterday! That's the first person to ask me about my pregnancy in public. I'm happy I finally look pregnant!
