So I went to urgent care yesterday morning after waking up in the MOTN with a fever and a pounding head. I got a shot in the butt, a prescription and two benadryls and was told to sleep it off. Cue DH waking me up an hour after I fell asleep. Seriously guy? I also still have a headache this morning. Grrrrrreat. I'm going to give it a couple days before I go back to urgent care. I just feel like a jackass complaining about a headache.
Also, last year the acceptance emails for nursing school went out on November 16, which was the Monday the week before thanksgiving. Which is today. So I've turned into an email refreshing crackhead. Crack. Head.

laceysbryan you are not an ass for complaining about a headache! They're the worst. When I was doing my student teaching the only day I called in sick was because I had a migraine. My cooperating teacher called me to check on me later in the day because she was worried someone was going to have to take me to the ER. Apparently I sounded like I was dying when I called in. Hope your headache goes away fast!! And that you hear back from nursing school. Fx for you!!

It's an extra large mug of coffee morning. Dh has been asking about Dada since he left yesterday. Hopefully we can Skype a little bit while he's gone. We have story time this morning, so that'll be fun.

Mondays. Sitting in my parked car at work. Sipping my coffee and listening to the christmas music radio station.

Yesterday did not make it shopping. Dh kept arguing with me about not going with my cousin. I finally got mad and told him to go to his cousins house with leo without me. He had to tell me they had planned a baby shower. :sheepish smiley face: It was fun. We're pretty stocked on baby wipes now.

I should get my butt moving.

littlelion, that is too funny; I had a surprise sprinkle yesterday too, and almost didn't go!

39 weeks today! Just at the office, trying to finish things up. I was hoping to WFH starting today until baby day, but idiotically I left my laptop at my parents' house last weekend so I don't have remote access. I brought DH's computer in today and I'm praying they can get it set up so I can stop dealing with the commute.

DH surprised me and let me sleep in which was greatly appreciated since I stayed up watching a movie last night. Lol.

I'll be busting butt trying to get my paper finished today and homework done for my other class.

Home! It feels so good to be back. I missed sleeping in my own bed, even if it is a bit lumpy.

Came home after my lab practical and revisited the bottle of wine I opened on Saturday night... Now I know what to ask Santa for - one of those air-sucker things to keep my wine from turning vinegar-y so fast.
I'm going to take one for the team though and drink it anyway.
