Can we talk Christmas/Holiday gifts and Black Friday deals?

Have you ever looked into month of clubs? I do these a lot for MH. They have pretty much everything. Chocolate, flowers, wine, beer, hot sauce, popcorn, steak, etc. You can do do 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions and pay either all at once or per shipment. I usually do a 6 month subscription and then set the deliveries for every other month. I use Amazing Clubs most often.

We're on a really tight budget this year.

My parents are getting a batch of caramel rolls from me and probably something crafty/picture-related from DS.

My siblings all do a gift exchange so I don't know what I'll do until I have a name. I have been thinking about making some chip dip mixes and putting them in ornaments for them to use whenever.

What we get the ILs will depend on their wishlists but most likely, we'll do something similar to my parents gifts.

I have no idea what to get H. There's a concealed gun holster he really wants but he doesn't even have his concealed carry license yet so I told him not to expect it. I think we may just try paying off our photographer early so we can get prints done of our maternity pictures and make it a home gift.

And no freaking idea what to get DS. New pjs for certain. Little things for his stocking. Maybe a couple other items. I can't decide.

I don't have any Christmas ideas yet. MH's birthday is next week and I got him a salsa of the month subscription. And I'll probably get him a new phone cover since he just got the iPhone 7. I can't bring myself to think about Christmas yet, even though I really need to get on it.

+1 on the subscription boxes! I do Birch box for SILs 1-3 but I only do $10/box for 3 months! BIL on DH's side gets a kit to make beer. BIL on my side and my sister get a wine gift set from winc. Kids get lego sets! I usually make my mom a basket full of yarn, and a pattern to go with it. ILs get a gift card to their favorite restaurant.

In the past, I've given the girls alex and ani bracelets which they loved too. When we lived in Seattle, we'd get local gift baskets! (Made in Washington was our go to) Dh has gotten cigar of the month club which he liked a lot!

You are all amazing, I was going to phone in this year and just do the kids! Now I'm re-thinking that!

I'm stalking this for ideas for H. We have agreed on a $50 budget but I have NO idea what to get him.

H wants a gun safe. I don't want to drop $500 on a gun safe when I just spent $400 on new boots.

I really need to get serious about Christmas.

I've bought H a USMNT soccer jersey on sale, which I'm pretty excited about. I'm not sure what else I'll get him yet.

I was thinking of getting some sort of jewelry for my mom with her grandkids' birthstones but my due date is 5/30 and I think it'd be too risky until the baby actually comes.

I am going to make a stuffed bowling set for my nephew, which I am really excited about. We also wanted to get him a pair of snow shoes but I think he might be too young for them yet (he's 2.5) so maybe next year.

I think these DIY quilt kits would make really cool gifts and I'm trying to figure out who I would get it for. We have two of their quilts and I love them. I have a 40% off coupon (not sure if it can be used on all items or when it expires) if anyone's interested.

I got both of my brothers the knock off brand of Yeti cups and then ordered custom decals from Etsy to put on them. $9.99 for the cup and $3.00 for the decal. They will love them!

I think I want to get my sisters that gross Baby Feet thing that peels all of your skin off. We always joke about our gross feet.

I got my mom a serving dish from Pamperef Chef.

I always get grandparents grocery store gift cards. These seem to be very appreciated by anyone on a fixed income. And they always get used.

I got all my nieces/nephews age appropriate board games.

H wants a new drill so I think I'll get him that.

MIL got a GC to her favorite spa.

W, DS was 5 months for his first Christmas so we got two or three tiny things for him. As a newborn, I'd just skip the gifts unless something caught my eye. They won't care anyway lol

right! Basically I just did it so I could have a picture of him opening a gift. I'm such a FTM.

I think maybe it's just a mom thing lol I'm all about tiny fingers opening gifts.

True! I get excited when my pups open their Christmas gifts. I'm going to go look for ideas of good angles and shots on Pinterest right now.

Glad I'm not the only one that buys gifts for my dogs. I even wrap them in like brown packaging paper so they can open them themselves (tear apart) and they have stockings. Well the dogs do...not the cats....eff those cat assholes that destroyed my pink balloons.

Our dogs get SO SPOILED by us and by my ILs. They're literally like humans to my ILs. Ours also have stockings and I buy Christmas dog wrapping paper for them. But I have learned that I have to wait until Christmas Eve to put them out because they will smell their gifts and open them beforehand!! One time we found wrapping all over and an EMPTY bag of treats when we got home from being gone for a few hours. 

My cats and dogs both have stockings with their names on them from Etsy. I love the toys you shared! Now I need to figure out what to get the cats.

What about a day out just the two of you? Maybe a spa day or something? Or a day of shopping, lunch and a movie? I know it's not something she can open Christmas morning but I bet she'd really appreciate a day with just the two of you, especially since she doesn't live close by.
