I (somewhat apprehensively) searched for the word "pasty" and didn't come up with anything.
My BF kid has begun go dabble in solids and thus has a case of the pasty poops. Please tell me I can keep being lazy and just throwing the diapers in the wash after just a quick rince off? Or am I gross and I should stop that immediately?
Get a SprayPal (or be cheap green and make one of your own like me). I crank the sprayer all the way up and power everything off without getting water everywhere.

How did you make your own? I'm picturing a clipboard inside of a Trapper Keeper. Lisa Frank Spraypal!

It's not attractive at all but gets the job done. You can make it fancy by adding snaps and stuff like the SprayPal but I didn't do that. I store it in an oval bucket.

Thanks! I remember seeing the spray pal in a video and thinking it would be simple to make it for cheap.
I have a spray collar, it seems to wok really well at preventing splashback, even if it does make the sprayer look like it's wearing a "come of shame".

I made my own spray pal, but it was a disaster. It just wasn't big enough, and the clip wasn't strong enough. When I dropped a whole diaper into the toilet while spraying, I decided the DIY pal had to go. I was pretty bummed, too; normally I'm quite handy.
Thanks! I'll be looking into a sprayer tomorrow. Just did a load and used the slop sink in the basement to get most of the poop off first. Yep. I'm disgusting.

We're ordering a sprayer from a co-op on FB to save some $, and using one of those big orange Home Depot paint buckets with part of the bottom cut out. LO isn't due till May, but I tend to prepare a bit too much in advance lol.
