I am oblivious today so this is a repeat - Valentines Plans?

Going out to dinner tonight cuz dh waited too long to make a res for Saturday. That's fine with me because I don't like those pre fix menus.

We aren't doing anything Valentines specific. I'm hoping DH can watch DS long enough for me to make his birthday cake. DS loves rainbows so I want to make a tie dye cake with his favorite cream cheese frosting.

My ILs are staying with us for the week so we're having dinner with my ILs and my parents. Super romantic.

Going to an upscale Mexican restaurant (VERY excited about this because that is my biggest craving), and then to see "50 Shades of Grey".

DH are going to drive to a beach and probably have a car picnic and then a very cold and wet midnight walk.

We are going out to a nice dinner, we don't do gifts, just a card and some candy for each other. We are big foodies so we enjoy just eating out at a nice restaurant more than gifts.

My IL's wanted to get together with us for Valentine's Day because they don't like each other. I don't particularly care about Valentine's Day and I do like my IL's, but I vetoed that idea right away. You are a better woman than me  

We didn't really have any choice since my IL's are staying in the house with us. But we probably wouldn't have done anything special for Valentine's anyway, and we all get along just fine so it's all good. We might do dinner just DH and I on Monday or something instead.

We will pop popcorn, have ice cream with festive sprinkles, and watch the Charlie Brown Valentine movie with DD and camp out in the TV room on a blow up mattress. Not sure about dinner...probably order pizza. We avoid going out at all this weekend due to the long wait.

Our plan was to go to the restaurant where we're having our wedding luncheon next month, but we just realized that it's the same night as this crazy parade not far from the restaurant (Gasparilla - a pirate parade involving a lot of alcohol, for those unfamiliar with the Tampa Bay area) so that's not such a good idea. But DF just texted me he has a plan B - I asked what, and he said he has a romantic surprise planned for me. Instant-best-mood-all-week I know him and I'm sure it'll be really simple, he's not the over-the-top type, but thoughtful.

We weren't exchanging gifts, but now I'm totally making him his favorite cookies tomorrow afternoon while he's at work
