Can Anyone TTMA Fifth Disease?

We think my son had it (not formally diagnosed). He is just about 1, so there is no chance I wasn't exposed. His cheek rash started Friday and cold-like symptoms are still ongoing from Saturday. 

So, I just did a blood draw to check my titres for previous or current exposure. I have to wait a few days for the results and I'm trying not to freak out.

If they come back positive for current exposure I want to have an fairly aggressive-but-not-invasive-unless-necessary game plan in place for monitoring.

If they are negative for both prior and current exposures, I should push to have the bloodwork redone in a few weeks, right?

How many weeks are you? I think it's more dangerous in early pregnancy. My son had it before I was pregnant and my doctor had said if I was pregnant, I would need to leave the house for a week. But I don't know if that was specific to me. Did you get any answers??

No, still waiting for blood results to tell me more about my titers. How on earth could you have left the house for a week? Everything has been telling me that you don't know it's Fifth disease until they get the rash, which isn't until after they're contagious anyway? That's weird advice.

Anyway, I am 16 weeks now, so still in the risky range if I were to have it.

Yea, I don't know. I was appalled by that suggestion considering I had a then 1.5 yo and was still BFing. I wish I had better answers for you!
