I'm trying to thing of a cute nickname to use. Part of me thinks it's still a little too early, but the other part wants to start calling it something. We will likely be team green, so we won't be referring to it by its true name. (That and with DS1, we went in with 3 boy names and 3 girl names. We didn't pick a name until about 10 hours after he was born. So even if we knew boy/girl chances are we still wouldn't have a set name anyways.) DS1s nickname was Extra. backstory- we told family about 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas. When my in laws mailed us our Christmas card the inside was addressed to DH, Me and Extra. I was pissed in the beginning. To me that was something one of DHs college buddies would write, not 1st time grandparents. It became a joke between DH and I Christmas Day (all my gifts from DH were "to Extras Mom.") (apparently my MIL had no idea FIL wrote that on the card) so there was a lot of explaining. Then after Christmas the nn Extra stuck.
We have been calling him/her Bug since we found out. No fun or cute story, I just said bug one day and it stuck. Especially after it look like a tiny Catapillar in a cocoon at one point in time.
Ours is Hans. We're Team Green, but we were in Germany on vacation either when or shortly after I ovulated and we joked if it was that cycle we would call it Hans. And so we are. We told my family about it and they're calling it Hans too. I love it.
Uterus parasite doesn't quite have a cute ring to it, does it? We don't really talk about it directly (see: husband doesn't like to think about it much before it feels "safer"), but our son talks constantly about the baby. I'm guessing it'll remain "the baby."
We were originally going to call it Parasite. It's appropriate.
we called DD monkeyface after our favorite dog on DH's grandparents' farm in chile. (the dog seriously looks like a monkey, but is the cutest thing i've ever seen.) i'm not really sure how it happened, but it stuck. lol. don't worry, we've never called her that since birth.
DH has been calling this baby monkeyface II...i want to give him/her a new name, but i haven't put much thought into it.

In my head I'm going with JuneBug even though will most likely be born in May. With DS I was irrationally irritated with my dad. My sister had been pregnant and nicknamed hers TBD. My dad started calling DS TBD2 which annoyed the sh!t out of me because why should my son be "2", he's our 1st and shouldn't have to start life second to his cousin. He thought he was so clever and I finally flipped out on him. We went with just "little one" after that.
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015
We called DS Jake (not his actual name) while I was pregnant. H wanted that to be his real name, so he started it and it caught on with our families, but I said right from the beginning that wasn't going to be his name.
We don't call this one anything yet, H keeps trying different ideas but nothing has stuck like Jake did.

Right now we are trying out Thing 2, as in Thing 1 & Thing 2. Once we found out DS was a boy we called him "Thor" so maybe we will call this one Black Widow or Captain after the A/S.
