What's everyone doing for the nursery?

I can finally contribute something! Almost finished the mobile, I just need to figure out the best way to hang it now. This is about all that I've done with the nursery haha.

I don't have anything really put up together yet but I took a picture for my BFF of all the things I've been collecting so far. The crib will be here this week and all my fabrics came in for my projects. We start on the dresser this weekend, the color swatch is in the picture on the front of the tray. I'm ordering art work this week to frame as well. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I can post a nearly completed picture FINALLY.

I need to AW the mural that was just finished in our Lion King themed nursery (don't mind the wall stickers, I don't think they're staying. I've just had them since I was a kid).



My artist friend still needs to come over and put on a clear coat. Next week my mom will be coming over to help me pick out complimentary colors for the remaining three walls since I'm completely terrible at interior design.

Thanks! We refinish and sell furniture as a side hobby and had gotten this at a garage sale for $15 a while back. It had been sitting in our garage a long time and I started looking into buying an armoire for Baby's clothes and then it dawned on me that we could convert this one for a lot cheaper! It's the perfect size for the space too, woot woot!

Anyone have a suggestion for what to put in this middle frame? It's about 4x6. I've been looking for a headband flower but haven't found one that really struck me. Other ideas I thought of are a classic looking baby bottle or rattle, but haven't been able to find those in the right size.

Thank you!  I'm super happy with how it's all coming together.  I am in LOVE with your armoire conversion, it is adorable!

Sad thing is I actually looked up "Baby Shadow Box" on Pinterest for an idea, and there were several examples that included the Pee Stick.

I still haven't hung up all of the decorative details. I am still really undecided about what kind of pattern crib sheet to get. There is going to be a lion theme although you can't tell from this pic.

We were finally able to make some progress on the nursery this weekend!! We still need to move a few things out of the room, but I'm excited to actually have this room looking more and more like a baby's room!

Thanks! I found a stencil off of Etsy. Not hard to do, just very time consuming, I estimate it took around 15 hours to do that wall. It was worth it, I'm just excited it turned out as good as I had planned in my head! I'm not the most crafty person in this world, but I do my best.

We can't do anything to our plain beige apartment walls and it makes me pretty bummed. I'm hoping to find some cute bird prints and frame them.

Her initial would be cute in there. It could be painted or decorated to go with shoes and background.

mathistm I am also in an apartment with beige walls. We are using wall decals to decorate and bring color into the room. There are a ton on Amazon. You should check it out.

So I mentioned awhile ago that we're doing 'subtle' Star Wars. I finished stuff for the mobile and wanted share and be an AW because these easily took my 10+ hours.
I think I'll make lightsabers too but haven't made up my mind yet.
