3 DAY WEEKEND! Whatcha doing for family day?

Hiya! This is my first year having family day off so I figured I'd keep the board rolling with a family day poll

We've had Family Day for a few years now! I am now a SAHM and H is a vice principal so he actually has next week off for winter break. So our plans are all spread out through the week
I did want to take DS into Saskatoon tomorrow for fun but it's supposed to blizzard now so maybe not. Monday itself will be pretty low key, Thursday I have a prenatal appointment in the morning then we are taking off to Regina for the weekend where H has a conference and my sister lives there so she took that Friday off and we'll find fun things all to do next weekend! So technically, more of our fun plans are next weekend lol!

DH is working today and I work Monday. Tomorrow we're going to one of the town activities. It's extremely cold here (ski hill is even closed due to weather) so we are planning to spend today inside. Maybe we'll build a fort or something else fun like that to make the day a bit more exciting.

Family Day/Louis Riel Day (Manitoban originally, I kind of love the random decision to name the holiday there after a rather controversial historical figure) coincides with the start of our reading week at university so today is the start of a nice, long holiday. We'll just be hanging out at home mostly, and I'm planning to get going on some coursework.

We don't have family day here. I wish it was a 3 day weekend!

All day charity soccer tournament! DH gets the day off so he's taking care of LO.
It will be -42 at 5am today! Crash! Only -20 while we were skiing this afternoon which is like a warm day at Tremblant!

-40 here with wind chill. Gross. We are going out for groceries and promptly returning to our igloo and never coming out.

We are also dealing with stupid cold temperatures. We will probably be having a Netflix marathon while enjoying the fireplace

Same with the cold temps! We braved it today so that's enough for us! DH works tomorrow so I'm going to have a lazy day

In BC family day was last weekend. We rented some cabins with my parents, brother and SIL and the grandkids. Lots of drinking, and skiing.

We had an awesome weekend! We went out to Edmonton and saw Beauty and the Beast. Then on Sunday we went to the Indiana Jones Exhibit at Telus World of Science which was AWESOME. Then we went to Breakout and then for High Tea at the Fairmont McDonald. We also did some shopping and hung out with my best friend.
