becole check out frontier too. Allegiant flys into Sanford which will put you further from Disney. I just checked and they have flights for $24-$39 each way. You will have to pay for seat upgrade and your bags but the same goes for Allegiant. Also, frontier is constantly sending my emails with deals and coupon codes and I just noticed they opened up 2 flights from cvg to mco now, they used to just have 1 per day.

Also becole one thing I'll say about budget airlines during winter is they struggle more to keep up with weather delays than the big airlines. So if you get delayed it could be a real pita to get on another flight, so I would go with airline that has more flights per day to accommodate that. And I think allegiant has a checked bag weight limit of 40 lbs maybe and frontier has 50 lbs I think, that 10 lbs might make a big difference traveling as a family. I guess I've flown both airlines before but always end up going back to frontier over allegiant.
The other thing that sucks about Allegiant is the bag weight limit is only 40 pounds. It's 50 for most other Airlines. It's $50 if you go over 40lbs, which is really easy to do if you're packing kid stuff. It's cheaper to check an extra suitcase or get a carry-on than it is to over-pack your suitcase.
And YES about the delays. Even in good weather, Allegiant has delays ALL THE TIME. I have flown Allegiant a ton since my parents had a vacation house in Tampa, and when we went in July I was shocked our flight was on time. I think it was the first time in my whole life there was no delay of any kind.
I like Allegiant because you can get good deals if you are willing to sacrifice for it (pack light, sit apart from your H, deal with the bullshit). But if you're not #breezy, Allegiant is not for you.

I checked both allegiant and frontier for the same travel dates, and for 3 tickets, 1 lap infant. Allegiant was $334 total + bag fees, seat fees. And frontier is $228 total plus all the other fees. I clearly enjoy researching travel deals lol.

Do you have a link for the frontier ones or just go on their website?
We tried to do delta but they just cancelled the flight home except for 8am which no thanks.
Sucks because delta was going to be $240/ person. I was willing to pay that.
I need more hours in my day. The next few weeks are going to be crazy with moving, trying to do work, etc.
Good luck! Also, I went back and looked at your previous post because I couldn't remember when you're moving and saw that your H is an attorney. I've been practicing in Cincinnati for five years, so feel free to message me if he has questions about various firms, etc. If you'd like, I'll keep an eye out for postings. My firm sometimes posts positions internally to solicit recommendations a few days before they go out externally, so if I see anything that's a good fit I'd be happy to let you know.
The frontier flight im seeing is from 8-10pm which won't work.
I'm only seeing one flight per day though ?
What are the travel dates you are looking at?
9-12 was what we originally booked the resort for when delta had an afternoon flight on the 12th. They cancelled it. We could still do 10-13 we think. My parents are going too, so need enough for 4 adults, child and lap infant- so 5 seats.

Yeah the 9th doesn't have 2 flights. But if you leave on the 8th they have an 11 am flight. Kinda looks like mwf and Saturday are all 1 flight per day.

I don't know what I'm looking at. I tried the 8th as well and it said 8pm.

JoBub, I remember you telling me the pnp would be free to check but they charged us! Those bastards. The cvg lady actually let it slide, but coming home, I paid. We were able to pack most of our stuff in bookbags and stored them under the seat as a personal item.

I feel you. I'm so grateful for Thanksgiving break since I'm a teacher so we can get settled in our new place, but when I go back to work next week it's going to be insanity getting ready for exams and Christmas break. I should know better by now. Any major life events need to happen during summer vacation.

That's weird! They didn't say anything about it when we brought ours! Maybe it changed recently. I have also had a few trips where at CVG they told me the weight limit for my suitcase was 50lbs, but on the way back I got charged for being over 40. The website says 40. Maybe people at the CVG desk just don't know what they're doing or are extra nice for some reason.
Kohls has started their black Friday sale. My Kohls charge is sad. But I saved a ton!
What did you get?
Monogrammed stockings for the 3 of us, a throw blanket, a Columbia fleece for DD, a baby doll accessories set (bed, stroller, and high chair that converts to a swing, carrier, and baby seat. For $25!), a picture frame for MIL, Melissa and doug wooden puzzle set and bath crayons for my nephew, and a gift for our Christmas exchange. all for around $100! Plus got $30 in kohls cash. I saved like $180.
It's getting to be that time of year again... Anyone started thinking about daycare/teacher holiday gifts? I also try to get my cleaning lady something small (in addition to holiday tip) and need to get something for my administrative assistant. And we do a white elephant exchange with some of the women at work. I'm going to try to get some stuff during online Black Friday sales, but didn't know if anyone had good ideas I could steal.
Kohls and Groupon --- check out freestufffinder.com if you're trying to score stuff for cheap. I bought the teachers mugs/water bottles and a candle. I got the cleaning staff candles and bottle of wine. I forgot about our admin -- ugh off to shop.
