How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD all freakin day. At least she is quick though. Solids super varies, I think our solids strike is ending the past few days she has eaten more. She still won't sit in the high chair though... we have started letting her eat standing at the coffee table. Not ideal, but if she doesn't eat solids she literally poops all day long, so it's worth it.
How are nights? We are definitely in a rough patch. After we get back from thanksgiving I am going to work on nursing earlier instead of right before bed to see if it helps
How is pumping/nursing going? Good. I don't pump. She won't take a bottle and will only sip from a cup, so not enough to do a feeding and I have about 30 oz of milk frozen if we ever want her to sip, so don't see a real need
Q/rants/raves cold weather people, do you find a jacket or a full suit is better? We have a bunting for the car seat bc she was born in MA, but this is our first week in the cold, my mom bought her a coat, but I'm wondering if we are better with one of those suits?
GTKY: What's your cold weather essential for you? For the little ones? For me, hot water with lemon. For LO tbd, this is our first experience with cold since she was brand new (and then it was probably the bunting)

Omg. Last check in here!! It's giving me all the feels!
E will be 1 on Saturday!
We nurse 4-6x a day, solids every few hours. Water when she wakes up from a nap.
Nights are okay. We are teething reeeeally bad. So.. send help.
Down to 1 pump at work during lunch! I'll wait for E to lead dropping her day bottle before weaning from the pump. I have about 100oz in the freezer so I may donate if it doesn't get used. I plan to continue to NOD until she decides she's done.
Rant/rave - I love how much she loves nursing. I'm so so happy we met our goal of 1 year. Especially with going back to work! I couldn't have done it without you ladies here and on my BMB for support. Love you all!
GTKY: cold weather essentials for me and LO.. comfy warm pants, ChapStick, a humidifier, warm tea or hot chocolate, slippers.

We NOD every 2-3 hours and 1-2 times overnight. Solids twice a day.
Nights are great! I can handle 1-2 wake ups.
Pumping: today I only got 1 oz (usually I get 5-6). DD refused to nurse and was frustrated so I'm thinking my supply is low today. I have no idea why and I'm trying not to panic. I only pump once a day since I SAH so I don't really know what's going on in there.
GTKY: it never gets super cold here sadly but I love to cuddle under a blanket next to a fire! DD probably appreciates her sleep sack!

westiemom don't panic! Have you got your first pp yet? When mine came my supply dipped a LOT. I got it around 8mo. It rebounds, just eat a lot and drink lots of water!

How old is baby? 8.5 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing on demand, usually every 2-3 hours. Solids 3 times a day, occasionally a small snack in the afternoon.
How are nights? Getting better! We are down to 1-2 wake ups this week.
How is pumping/nursing going? My supply seems to be going down a little. I pump once a day in the morning and was getting 3.5-4.5 oz and now it's down to 2.5-3.5 oz. LO seems satisfied and I'm only pumping for a practice cup and to donate, so I'm not really stressing about it.
Q/rants/raves: she is getting another tooth and has been super bitey lately. Not fun! Hopefully it pops through soon and I get a break from the biting.
GTKY: What's your cold weather essential for you? For the little ones? It doesn't get super cold here, so not much. I like to snuggle under a blanket in the evenings.

I haven't gotten it yet! Maybe it's right around the corner. 😧. I will drink a lot today and eat more (eating more is easy). Thanks!!

jewel441, oh, a non-BFing question! When he was little, I liked a fleece bunting or a light jacket, with a blanket over top of the car seat or stroller. With car seats, you have to be careful with puffy coats.
New here! Lurked for a bit. SAHM to 6 How old is baby? 11 mo. How often are you nursing? A lot...she is a big comfort nurser compared to my other babies Solids? Yes, she eats everything! How are nights? Not good...comfort nursing at night is hard. I've tried pacifiers but she won't take them so I feel like she is on me all night. How is pumping/nursing going? No problems other than she won't drink pumped milk. She loves water though and is old enough now that she will eat solids with water if I am away from her for a bit. GTKY: What's your cold weather essential for you? For the little ones? Looking for some shoes that she can't remove actually...we have Robeez but she gets them off so easily and will not leave socks on either.
How often are you nursing? Solids? We NOD when I'm home with him, probably 4-6x/day. On the days I work, just once in the morning and before bed. Usually once MOTN either way. He's up to 3 meals a day of solids.
How are nights? Decent. He's still up usually 1-2x, MH gives a bottle at the first wake-up (would like to wean him off this but MH says he doesn't settle/fall back asleep without it and swears he's hungry, so) and I nurse the second time if there is one.
How is pumping/nursing going? Good, though my output has dropped by a few oz a day lately. I'm having to dip into my freezer stash most weeks (also b/c I don't pump to replace the bottle MH gives MOTN). But he's almost 1, so I don't think it's a huge deal.
Q/rants/raves How much water should I be aiming to give my LO? He gets bottles of pumped milk (or nurses) in the a.m., before both naps, and before bed, and then periodically throughout the day he'll nurse or have a few oz here or there from a bottle or straw cup. He's about to turn 1; I'm not sure if he should be dropping any of those bottles or cups of milk in favor of water? I have no real plan to start incorporating in any WCM until closer to 18m (and then only because he'll be entering daycare and they don't allow BM in the toddler room). I just feel like I've heard that they drink less milk and eat more solids after a year (food before one is just for fun and all that) and I'm not sure what changes I am supposed to make or if there's any issue with him continuing to get the same amount of BM if he'll drink it.
GTKY: What's your cold weather essential for you? For the little ones? Bearpaw boots, fuzzy slippers, down comforter. For LO, I have what is basically a thick hooded sweatshirt that isn't too puffy for the carseat, a hat, mittens and fleece booties. I need to get him a one-piece thing and some boots probably.
