This day is off to not a great start. Feel like crap, was up part of the night, threw up this morning, and now two urgent projects that must go live today are at a standstill due to issues out of my hands. And so I'm just waiting...

Sorry. Do you get a 4 day weekend after this?
Yes thank goodness! And was planning to take off early today since I worked last night. FX I can still do that.
Cleaners are coming soon which means I'm scrambling to pick things up. Addressed Xmas cards and got the baby's foot and hand print stamped and gave him a bath. We got all the ready made mashed potatoes, etc from Costco yesterday so I'm set for thanksgiving. Clean house, clean baby, Christmas stuff is up- ready for turkey! Also- looks like baby is getting cradle cap. I scrubbed but not much happened. Any ideas?

I wish we got out early, but I just don't see that happening. Thank god today is the last work day for the week!!! N was so cute this morning, I asked her what she was thankful for and she said maya (grandma), papa, daddy then paused and pointed at me and yelled, you!! heart-melted.

Coconut oil worked for us. Just rub it on his head in the bath and scrub it off a few minutes later

I slept like crap last night because my father keeps this house at literal freezing temperatures, and my bed is right under a vent.
I have heartburn this morning, my sister is sick, & H missed his flight, so it cost another $75 to get him off standby and on the next flight. He says it wasn't his fault, but I'm willing to bet good money it was.
It's this baby. He's most content in the morning when he first wakes up so I take advantage of any must dos of the day. After his bath, he fell asleep in the cosleeper so that gave me another hour. Not every day is productive though! I've been trying to get those hand prints done for weeks and I've had the Xmas cards for two weeks without being addressed... today just worked. Folded and put away kid laundry too and my sheets are in the dryer.
JoBub, +1 to needing sweet potatoes. becole, try dandruff shampoo for the cradle cap. I used head & shoulders on both my boys and it worked great. Obviously be extra careful not to get in eyes. 😜

Thanksgiving is naturally chaos but I think I got everyone on the same page and everyone is going to MILs (since my family is just my parents, brother and now brother's gf). This was decided two hours ago, the day before thanksgiving.
We are having a Dr. Seuss party tonight. So I'm working like a mad woman trying to get stuff done so I can help H get it ready. We are doing greens egg and ham sandwiches, one fish two fish red fish (smoked salmon dip) and (buffalo) blue (cheese dip) in fish bowls, gooey butter cake (for butter battle book), Christmas cookies for grinch. Now that I type this out, I really hope H is getting everything ready. I might have to call him to make sure.
lindsay I'm always down for seeing bump pics! chrispy1122 that sounds cute! Is that for a special event?
No, we just usually throw a get together the night before thanksgiving. It used to involve a lot more drinking, so the past few years we have been doing themes to spice things up. We did a pirate murder mystery last year. This year H and I were trying to decide between Bill Murray or Dr. Seuss for the theme. You guys that are in town will have to come next year! We kept it just to family this year because our basement is out of commission.

+1 to Head n Shoulders for cradle cap. Seem to clear it right up. I also used Mustella Bebe Foaming Shampoo day-to-day and it kept it away.
Pictures were interesting this morning. We were at least on time since I started dressing and getting us out the door over an hour before our appointment. The oldest hated his outfit and . He eventually got with the program though. A few were good. I'm going to request a different photographer next time.

I feel so shitty today I did nothing. I got DH and Bub out the door in the morning, then went back to bed. Woke up super nauseous, forced myself to eat, then couldn't keep my eyes open. Went back to bed. Woke up when DH came home from work. I'm pissed at myself for not getting anything done buy I don't even want to move.
