Hey guys! I haven't been around in forever but coming back to say hello. Been at the in laws for about 1 hour and ready to start drinking!

We have been drinking mimosas since 8am bc we are gone alone this year and don't have to go anywhereeeee.

We are planning all 8 HPs by Sunday. It's 2 per day, totally manageable.

Our tgiving was a mess with H's family then we went to my friends' and H was in a horrible mood, sulking...made us leave awkwardly after just over an hour and then picked a fight with me on the way home. He hates holidays anyway so it's always hit or miss...but I'm super losses that he also ruined my fun with my friends. So...yay, rah rah holidays. I also only had a glass and a half of wine...I'm way too sober for this day!

Hugs PepperPottsJ! Parents can be such a treat sometimes. I remember when I was in law school and had gained a few pounds (and now I would give my left arm to be that weight again) and my mom was so concerned about my weight gain that she sent me a pre-diabetic cookbook so I could avoid Type II diabetes.

wannabmama, sorry YH was being a downer today and picked a fight - moar booze for you!

So this morning, after sitting around relaxing in PJs all morning, I get started with some baking and there is a knock at the door - DH's brother and his gf showed up unexpectedly to see what we were up to. Turns out he was at our neighbors' house (they are his ex-step-grandparents, but they still treat him like family even 20+ years after their daughter divorced his dad), and he invited us to come by and say hi to his former stepmom. So we ended up visiting with them for a while (after I showered and finished my baking) - nothing like a surprise Thanksgiving lunch before my family's Thanksgiving dinner! It all worked out other than me never liking to be seen by people in my PJs with no makeup.
