Upcoming appointments this week? None until the end of December (so far away)! Our doctor does not do NT scans or any testing which kind of worries me but honestly it is what it is.
Any new symptoms or changes? Just gagging that leads to puking starting up again.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am excited to hit this milestone and can't wait until second tri now. Just cruising along and really starting to feel like we are for real pregnant!
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? I read and play on internet forums. I am super boring. I am a homebody so I like being home and just relaxing.

cateyes Have you considered first trimester screening with another doctor or clinic? Mine does not do it in office but gave me info on another doctor they refer to at my vet first visit.
Upcoming appointments this week? N/T Scan on Wednesday, 12 week check up on Thursday. I'm looking forward to both.
Any new symptoms or changes? The exhaustion is still there but it's getting better. I'm able to stay awake until 10:30 now. I can feel my uterus growing (I think). I'm also able to pick up heartbeats with my home doppler.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I just want to get to Wednesday for my N/T scan. I can't wait to have the ultrasound and then share the news with DD.
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? I like to take long walks.

I have thought about asking but I don't know. I go back and forth, because regardless of the results, there is nothing we would do different and we will likely know at the 16 week blood tests or 20 AS scan so is it worth it? I honestly don't know.
What state are you in cateyes ? My state (CA) considers the NT scan/first tri screening to be important enough that they offer it at a low cost if your OB doesn't do it/insurance doesn't cover it.
There is a very low probability that something turns up on the NT scan. That said, the stuff that would turn up is the stuff that it would be really nice to know earlier on, in my opinion (meaning trisomies that are incompatible with life).

How far: 13 weeks (now "officially" by LMP per NT scan but physically impossible based on DTD oh well) this kid will be an RCS in May. But I'm staying here
Baby is: clown fish... Creeps me out thinking about
Appts: not til mid December
New symptoms: ugh still freaked out by the spotting after NT scan but I'm trying to put it out of my mind. Still very nauseous! Nothing new other than that
RRQ: we told everyone at thanksgiving. It was sort of anti climatic. My parents were surprised but then they were like "will you still work?" And "does this mean your H doesn't have to travel now". Nope. Our lives haven't stopped! I think MIL was pissed she didn't figure it out and even more annoyed I used a decoy beer in front of her. "I wouldn't have noticed" she said. Oh apparently you've forgotten all of the times youve questioned me not drinking, MIL. Everyone was happy I just dwell on those type of comments... Anyway....
GTKY: hobbies? No time. Just like watching awful tv like teen mom and sister wives.

I am in Wi. I called my doctor and am waiting on a call back tomorrow. They were super weird about it and didn't seem to see the point :/
Rants/Raves/Questions? None that I can think of. Well a rant on my dad who we told on Friday. he now keeps asking if I've told my mom yet. Nope, she'll be the last one we tell in person since she blabbed to FB after we announced our 1st pregnancy before I could tell a few friends in person. (Even after saying- you can't put this on FB yet. There are a few people I would like to tell in permit call and tell first.).
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? I like to read and bake. DH doesn't like when I bake because then he eats it all so I don't do it as often as I used to. I also used to run a lot but didn't get back into it like I thought I would after DS was born. (I was doing good once I was cleared for the first few months, then it got cold and I didn't want to go outside.)

How far along are you? 11 weeks
How big is baby? 2 golf balls
Upcoming appointments this week? first ultrasound with OB tomorrow! And the first one MH will be able to go to.
Any new symptoms or changes? I thought my nausea was starting to ease up, but that only lasted about 2 days. Yesterday I had a really bad day. Just overall sick of being sick and tired, and I was extra cranky. Then of course I felt guilty for being cranky since we have wanted this for so long. And then I worry that this will somehow get taken away from me since I'm not grateful, even though I know that's not how it works. But my mood is much better today.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just excited to see the little babies tomorrow at the ultrasound! It has been 3 weeks since my last ultrasound, which is the longest stretch I have gone so far.
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? No real hobbies. I like watching football and bingeing shows on TV.

Me (32), DH (32) TTC since Dec. 2014 Dx: severe MFI (azoospermia) Micro-TESE was successful. IVF planned for spring 2016.
IVF March 2016: 20R/16M/3F/13 Eggs Frozen - 0 embryos to transfer or freeze IVF with TESE #2 September 2016: 13R/9M/3F - 2 3dt, none to freeze BFP! 10/9/16. EDD 6/20/17. TWINS!
Upcoming appointments this week? NT scan and 12-week appointment on Friday
Any new symptoms or changes? Less nausea, though it comes back at night sometimes. Still gagging at multiple things (brushing teeth, the smell of toilets). Gas and constipation are the new normal.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Now that I'm hungry again, any suggestions for good protein? I don't think I'm getting enough. Same for calcium (I don't drink milk - don't like it).
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? Photography (which I also do professionally part-time) Travel Baking Board games Tennis Reading
cateyes - The gagging is driving me insane! So over it.
Run20K - I've been able to stay awake until 9:00pm and sometimes later, huge win! (I get up at 5:30/6:00am for work.)
violetrose - I haven't run in about two weeks and really need to get back into it. But now the weather is cold and we're about to start work on the fitness room in our building, so my motivation is lacking.
sabrinaml - I'm with you on not telling your mom too early. She killed the trust last time. My H also loves but hates when I bake because he ends up eating most of it unless I'm taking it into the office.
punkybrewster - Just because we wanted this doesn't mean we can't complain when we feel like complete crap. That's my opinion. Sorry you weren't feeling well. Hope you feel better today!

How far along are you? 12 weeks
How big is baby? Apricot
Upcoming appointments this week? Not until Monday
Any new symptoms or changes? So much bloat and heartburn. Still evening nausea and food aversions
Rants/Raves/Questions? ending Crinone today which is exciting and terrifying
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? I love to read but the amount of time I have for that comes and goes. Is watching reality TV a hobby? lol
marshian probably not all that creative, but i've been loving greek yogurt, or even better, Siggis yogurt. it sucks that we can't eat cold deli meat, because heated it smells like wet dogs to me and makes me gag. i'd be crushing ritz crackers + deli meat + cheese in the evenings if i could stomach heated meat.
How far along are you? 11 weeks
How big is baby? fig (cracks me up how much the sources vary on this!)
Upcoming appointments this week? today! unofficial NT scan (I'm doing verifi, they drew blood today). measuring a couple days ahead but everything looks good! i am so happy. Dr says he thinks it's a girl, but of course too soon to say with certainty. We will know in about a week!
Any new symptoms or changes? feeling nauseous for a lower % of the day. laziest human alive. officially wearing maternity pants about half time and it is glorious. no bump to speak of but...stretchy pants.
Rants/Raves/Questions? anyone want to share favorite recipe sources? i am in such a cooking funk - all my regular recipes make me gag, so i'm just not cooking at all. i need to fix that.
GTKY: LOVE baking, cake decorating, playing with DD, reading (though i am a tough audience and rarely find books i love). once upon a time i loved weight lifting but not lately (see above: laziest human alive).
marshian i feel you girl. i don't remember much from first pregnancy, but i do remember that the book Expecting Better made me think cold deli meat was actually a bad idea (vs. one of those probably not necessary things). but since listeria is apparently lurking in like every food we eat, it's hard to take it as seriously.

I've talked about this with my H and how there are more reports of listeria in melon than deli meat. I think I'll loosen up on it after first tri, though I won't eat deli meat every day.
How far along are you? 14 weeks, second tri !!! Eek
How big is baby? Peach or starwars action figure
Upcoming appointments this week? Not until January 3rd
Any new symptoms or changes? So much more emotions, everything makes me cry
Rants/Raves/Questions? It's easy to dwell on the things that IF and pregnancy loss takes away but recently i have been thinking about what they have given me. Despite a HG diagnosis, feeling super sick and being riddled with anxiety I spend every second of this pregnancy being so grateful for what was given to me. I am also truly amazed by how everything seems like such a miracle
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? I have the most Canadian of hobbies: snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, canoeing/kayaking, woodworking, knitting, swimming and of course I love love skating. We get some pretty extreme tenperatures here with lots of snow so without winter activities winter would be the worst
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015

Pretty sure I ate listeria hummus for the first month of my pregnancy nothing truly seems safe

ihatepizza, I agree with you on IF giving me so much appreciation for this whole thing. I find myself just sitting in awe at the fact that I am actually pregnant with a so far healthy baby. IF sucks and I wouldn't wish it on anyone but it has definitely changed me for the better.

So much this. So many nights H and I just sit there and think, we are having a baby for real. It all seems so surreal and we are so grateful for every minute!

How far along are you? 12 weeks 3 days (got busy and forgot to post sooner)
How big is baby? a jelly donut hole
Upcoming appointments this week? Got the call to come in for labs or an NT scan next week. US scheduled for next Thursday
Any new symptoms or changes? I'm finally on some anti-nausea meds after losing 15 lbs. I can eat and drink again and walk around the house without wanting to pass out! It was a never ending cycle of nausea, can't eat, worse nausea because I didn't eat, so I still can't eat... I'm going to get my intake and weight up a little before I try not taking the pill in the morning.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Anti-nausea meds are amazing!
GTKY: Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? My main hobby is singing. I also have tons of fabric to be quilting, if I ever find the time.
