I was super in the mood today and of course DH wasn't. We've had sex once since before conception (thanks FET) so you'd think he'd jump at the chance! I was disappointed but maybe this means my sex drive is coming back?

Gagging has come back full force here with some added puking so that is fun. Part of it was I forgot the declegis at home when we traveled this weekend, but I was kind of hoping since we hit 12 weeks today I wouldn't need them. I was wrong.
Forgot to take my unisom/B6 combo over the weekend while on vacation. Traveling home yesterday was bad. (Thankfully no throwing up, just lots of nausea. Especially when DH would burp and it smelled of taco pizza.) And now that we are back home hopefully I can have a normal BM. I haven't gone since Wednesday and man does my tummy hurt today. (Constipation plus weird can't poop when not at home/when lots of people are around makes for a long/uncomfortable weekend!) part of me doesn't want to leave the house today but I do have to run into the shop for a couple hours this morning.
Nausea is still kicking my ass. It took everything in my power to not throw up my thanksgiving dinner. Friday night I couldn't even keep down sprite and crackers. The dry heaves in the morning are back too. I'll get to the point where I think I'm better and then it hits me out of nowhere. Ugh. I'm starving and tired but that not anything new.

OMG the bloat! I'm very thin and now look like I have a bump because of the bloat! Also my low back is killing me by the end of every day. Annnd the heartburn is increasing. I am hoping that the backache and heartburn don't plan on sticking around everyday until June.
All this return of nausea stinks! Add me to the list. I saw my OB today and she told me that she had just read an article that said there may be a correlation between morning sickness and lower miscarriage rates. I'm pretty sure she was just trying to make me feel better, but hey, I'll take it. Hopefully once we're into the second trimester, things will start easing up for everyone.
teachermomtobe, the blump is real. I'm having to be careful about what I wear. Has your OB told you to take/increase anything for the heartburn? Mine just told me today to start taking zantac twice a day.
I'm kind of bummed because I hoped to hear a heartbeat at my OB appointment today, but she didn't want to check since she said it might be too early to hear one. I guess it's better than checking and then worrying all week until my ultrasound if she wasn't able to find it.

kaimee27, I have an OB appt Monday so I will ask about increasing my Zantac. I already took 150mg Zantac before pregnancy because of chronic acid reflux. I have to see if they will let me take it twice a day. What dose are you taking? Also, my MW tried to find the heartbeat at 10w and couldn't which led to much anxiety and an ultrasound the next day to check. Fortunately everything was fine but honestly I wish she hadn't tried so I wouldn't have had so much anxiety.
teachermomtobe, right now I'm trying 75 mg twice a day, but my OB mentioned that I could go up to 300 mg twice a day if needed. That seemed like a lot to me, but hopefully I won't need to go there. I hope they let you up your dose and that it helps!
Has anyone else "felt" movement. Over the last couple of days I have had some weird feelings that google tells me could be movement. It doesn't feel like gas (i'm getting a lof of that) and I very very rarely feel it but it's a fluttery, muscle spasmy feeling. Am I crazy? STM's? I am 14+2 today

Not crazy! I was in the 13th week with my first. I'm 12 weeks 6 days today but um pretty sure I have felt this one already. The first time in my 10th week. I was sitting, but busy getting after DD when it happened and it caught me off guard. I wasn't just sitting idle or anything. If I lay at night and press on my uterus, I can sometimes feel movements too though I'm less sure of those. In my opinion, even if it's not REALLY movement I'm feeling (but it was the same I felt the first time so I'm pretty sure) , I personally feel like there's no harm in believing it. I would never tell someone it's not their baby they feel and that it's only gas. It's something that makes us feel good, you know? Believe it!!

I have questioned some flutters when sitting still but I tell myself I'm crazy and it's probably gas. I would think it's possible at 14 weeks! I'm just 12 today. I think I was 17ish when I started feeling DD.

A friend gave me a jar of pickles as a pregnancy joke when I first found out. They sat in my cabinet and didn't appeal to my nausea. I just opened them and man now I want to eat the whole jar. Stereotype much?! lol

I ate all but 2 pickles out of a brand new jar at 7 weeks. I couldn't believe myself. Ha. But I couldn't stop!!
Well as quick as I thought things were getting better....
Meat sounded ok tonight and H really wanted McDonalds so I got a burger and fries. Yup-that's officially puked in the toilet....I was worried it would go through the other end poorly 😷

cateyes oh man!!! I can handle the fries but haven't attempted a burger. I'll heed your warning and give it more time. But come March I'm going for those shamrock shakes with reckless abandon!

I didn't 'feel' movement with my first until really late, like almost 18 weeks or something. But this time around, I am definitely feeling it and it's just how you describe. I think STMs feel it sooner only because they know what it feels like.
