I'm avoiding pricing reports and eating Panera. I have no motivation to send out my price increases to customers. It sucks. I just want to skip this part of my job and hope it magically does it all by itself.
bewise - Glad you caught it so quickly! We also have friends and family we would prefer to not find out via random FB post.
teachermomtobe, @starsandshamrocks, agm04 - Seriously can't believe it. I get people are excited, but it's not their news. All of that would tick me off. We're lucky so far in that both our sets of parents and siblings agree it's our news to share and haven't said anything. We know MIL has told her friends down in FL but we don't really know them and they aren't on FB so no harm done.
All of this. I do not understood how other people feel compelled to share news that isn't theirs. So sorry your news was spilled.
One of my friends is super early with twins and her mother blasted a pic on FB. She was horrified. My mom hasn't done that, but she tells anyone she sees and then tells them if they know me to act surprised. This is probably why I haven't told my side of the family yet, because I'm sure they all know anyway. Some people suck at secrets.

In my view, once you share a secret, it's not a secret anymore. So I don't tell my parents anything unless I'm willing to have the whole town know. At work, I had to tell two colleagues as soon as the pee stick dried because I can't do certain parts of my job while I'm pregnant so they have to pick up the slack. They each told at least one more colleague, even though I told them I was going to wait until after my OB appt to tell HR and my supervisor. It's just not worth fighting or even getting mad over. I knew there was a chance of it happening as soon as I shared my news.
pinecone21, yeah, you're right. I'm still mad since we told them they could tell people, we just didn't want it on social media at this time. But in the grand scheme of things, it's really not a big deal.
We told our families at Thanksgiving by having DD wear a "Big Sis" shirt. We explicitly told them not to post anything on Facebook but they could tell close friends and family. We even changed her out of the shirt so there could be plenty of pictures of her, etc. I woke up this morning and checked Facebook....what was the only picture FIL posted from Thanksgiving? One of DD in her Big Sis shirt! I made DH text them at 5:30 am to change it! He's friends with many of our close friends that we haven't had a chance to tell yet. And the rumor mill in our hometown is crazy, so I'm sure a bunch of people know now 😡

That really sucks, I'm sorry I feel you though. I commented on a friend's post and she replied mentioning my pregnancy, so my ILs found out that way. I'm pretty frustrated.
Babies have a lot of protection in there! I hope everything is ok though.
Thanks. No bleeding or anything. Plus I have an appt tomorrow.
Yeah, baby is very likely to be healthy and safe, but I'm glad you have an appointment tomorrow anyway for peace of mind. Having your stomach jumped on hurts like a B (looking at you, toddler! Lol)

So my H is traveling for work this weekend and will be missing my birthday. I was annoyed at first even though I know he has no control over the work travel. But he sent me a few of those cupcakes in a jar and I'm thrilled that I can scarf them down without feeling like a piggy and not have to share.
We are going to the Melting Pot for dinner to celebrate my birthday (it's actually tomorrow but we are going out tonight)! I am so excited because it is the only time when the husband will go out for fondue! Plus fondue! I am also excited because I am wearing my first maternity outfit and I love it, so comfy!
I spent the last 12 hours violently vomiting and unable to keep anything down. Waiting to hear back from the on-call midwife about whether a trip to urgent care for fluids is in order, although I may just go regardless. I feel like I got hit by a truck, probably because I got no sleep on top of it all. It's gonna be a long day.

That sounds terrible. All the hugs and hope you feel better soon!!!

ihatepizza me too. I can't remember the last time I was that miserable. Thankfully my MIL took DS for a couple days so I have lots of time to rest and recover properly
lindsay & lotsoflotts - That sucks. I had wicked heartburn in the early weeks but it's subsided. I keep hearing it will come back and I'm not looking forward to it.
Killer heartburn tonight after frozen pizza for dinner. Anyone else suffering?
Mine was so bad and I was already taking Zantac 150 before pregnancy. I added Zantac 75 in the mornings and do 150 in the afternoon and I am like a new person! Definitely see what you can take for it. Mine isn't really specific to certain foods, it was constant.
