Not much going on here. LBB's best friend sleeps much later than he does, so he ends up bringing his breakfast to school and eating it during morning snack. So right now LBB is pretending to sleep so he can bring a lunchbox to school too.
Morning Ladies. I watched the rest of Gilmore Girls last night, so naturally I had some dreams that Gilmore Girls was my life. I'm pumped that today is my Friday. This weekend I'm hoping to do a lot of cleaning, sleeping, and a little shopping. Also, my friends and I are doing a girls day in Napa to celebrate our friend's engagement. I'm a terrible friend because I honestly don't even want to go, but I'm forcing myself and I'm sure it'll be fun once I'm there.

I started DD's Little People advent calendar with her this morning. She doesn't understand the concept in the least and just threw a tantrum that she couldn't have "MORE! MORE!". I see myself just giving them all to her soon, as we're not having that argument every single morning.
I've had a hard time thinking of a gift idea for Christmas for my H. Our relationship has been tough, so I bought him/us a subscription to a date night box. I'm really excited to see how it is.

blueskiessmiling tell me more about this date box? I also feel like H and I have had a harder time relationship-wise lately and I'd love something to connect more!
Morning ladies. I was apparently dreaming about online shopping last night. C woke up needing attention around 3 am and I guess I told DH "Don't worry, I'll get her. At least she comes in frustration free packaging". He was so confused and not convinced I was fully awake (Good call there DH!) so he followed me into C's room to make sure I wasn't going to fall over while holding her.
I'm putting up our decorations tonight and I am very excited about it!

My kids were SO excited about their advent calendars today. I gave them the gross cheap chocolate and then went to my fancy Kinder calendar that I bought myself.
Trying to plan more photoshoots but nobody wants to go outside anymore so I guess that's it until spring.. haha.
Morning all! sugarkissed DS is super excited too, I actually got tears in my eyes over his reaction when I told him it was the Christmas month and he remembered he gets his advent calendar. He will be opening his after school instead of in the mornings. That way H can be there to see him open it each day because he's usually gone by the time we get up.
Just ordered a burrito for lunch, second one this week. I think I have a problem.

I chose Crated With Love because of the price point. Once a month you get a themed box meant to be used as an at home date night (something we've been seriously lacking). Some companies seem more elaborate and time-filling than others.

I got J a Thomas the train advent calendar. He gave me a wtf face when he only got 1 little train though. It's also technically for ages 3+ so I have to make sure he doesn't eat the trains.
I'm so excited to do DS' calendar tonight! H leaves for work before he wakes up, and he wanted to see at least the first reveal.
Also, will likely be stealing your gift idea, blueskiessmiling, H and I also could use an activity for weekend nights at home other than "passing out watching Netflix."
+ whatever to I'm pretty sure my kids are officially in love with December!!
Guys I'm like bursting over this right now. I suggested we label their calendars after they picked which one they wanted and DS for the first time sat down and wanted to actually learn how to write his name. It was a lot of coaching and had to connect a couple lucky lines but still it's the first time he wanted to do more than sign his name as 3 little circles lol! 😍
I just want to say that when the site was broken last night through today, I thought maybe with all the craziness going on with AEs, etc. that TCF was legit gone. And then I realized that I would have no way to get in contact with anyone here. I have no real names, no emails no FB connections, nada. It was really a weird feeling.

So I pretty much get the same salad every day from the bagel place. They mix it for you at the salad bar. Now, one coworkers comes in telling everyone never to order a salad there because there was a fly chillin' on the cheese in the salad bar. Is it weird that I am not grossed out by this? I've seen flies before in places that are clean, they just fly in.
It's been kind of a crazy week as an internal job got posted that seems like a great opportunity so I've been scrambling to get more info and meet with hiring managers before applying. I have one more person to meet with but she's out of the office today so I'm going to come in on my day off tomorrow to meet with her. And I've kept all of this from my boss until I'm sure I want to apply so that will be a fun conversation if I decide to pull the trigger tomorrow. Interviewing is not exactly what I had in mind during my last month of work before leave. blueskiessmiling for VDay last year, I bought H three different date night boxes thinking we would get a subscription to whichever company we liked best. Fast forward 10 months and we haven't opened any of them. Probably should make an effort to get to at least one of them soon! I pictured there being a lot of wine involved so I haven't been as motivated to bring it up lately...

Maybe join our FB group?
Personally, I still prefer to keep TCF separate from my FB. But the shut down just made me realize maybe I should get someone's email or something, haha.
::runs to see if it's too late to get a little people advent calendar:: Otherwise I'll just be a bad mom this year with no advent calendar haha Will definitely be looking into this date night box for DH. My mom said she wants time with Z for Christmas so that would check two people off the list.

Would you guys stop with the salads?
I'm okay with a living fly on the salad bar. Living rat or anything dead would be my line.
