Ohhhhh that 3d pic is beautiful, and really amazing @totor4 my new OBs office's website says they do 3d/4d I am not sure if they will do it at my scan on Tuesday, but I hope so.
I had my scan last Thursday. Everything looks good AFAIK. Most definitely having a boy and confirmed my suspicion that he's super calm in there. He has barely moved for any of the ultrasounds we've had.
Had our ultrasound this morning, the kid was curled up in a ball, playing with face and feet and spinning in circles, but wouldn't flip so they could see chest and front of face. We'll have to come back for follow up, but so far it sounded like everything is looking good at this point, and we're measuring on track. And we didn't cave and ask the sex!

My A/s is Wednesday at the MFM and DH isn't going bc he can't keep missing 1/2 days of work (1.5h round trip drive plus usually 1-1.5h appt). He went to the last 2 that had U/S and has no idea what he is looking at admittedly. I have to say I'm having a harder time being team grean this time than last, Not that I didn't like being team green with DD, it was a really fun surprise for delivery, I just kind of want to know, but DH doesn't. Someone talk me down that I shouldn't find out Wednesday and just keep it a secret from DH and everyone else bc I'm considering it.....
cubbiebear325, I'm no help. I think it would drive me bonkers to be team green. If H had wanted that then I still would have found out (and not tell him of course so he still got what he wanted).
cubbiebear325 just think about how fun it'll be to find out with you husband like you did the first time. And if you really want to know, maybe you can convince him to change his mind.
cubbiebear325 I don't think I could keep the secret from my husband for around 20 more weeks. Although I definitely couldn't be team green. My type A personality needs to plan lol

Oh I'm definitely a type A planner, but with dd, it was like once we decided not to find out I was fine until the last few weeks, then I just wanted to know who was in there. I agree though that I'm not sure if I can keep the secret for that long. I feel like I would slip. Its just crazy how much harder it is not to know this time and I'm not sure why. The temptation is definitely still there.
Had our A/S today and baby boy looked great! The sono tech was happy we had the NIPT test done because baby was sitting crossed leg and did not want to show us his parts. She finally got a quick peek to confirm boy. All measurements were on track and he weighs about 5 ounces at 18w5d 😀
I had my US today, he looked good, he wouldn't move his hands away from his face though, it was cute! I have a partial previa, so hopefully it will migrate up, but I am sure it will. He was measuring 4 days ahead which was good since I have only gained 2lbs this entire pregnancy (thanks M/S, luckily now just nausea, but still), he is still growing well. In the 3d/4d pic he is yawning with his hand on his forehead
Me: 32, Wife: 38, Together for 5 years, Married for 2 years IUI #1 (8/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Crinone = BFN IUI #2 (9/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Endometrin = BFP!! EDD 5/26/17
sagen FX it will move! I think it's something like 90+% of partial or low lying will move the necessary distance as the uterus stretches. I had low lying with DS1 at 18 weeks (not a previa but less than 2" from the cervix and it had moved to more than 7" away at 31 weeks
rosesquared, it can be scary but I kept telling myself that there was no reason to expect bad news and every reason to be positive. Easier said than done, but I hope you feel better!
I had my a/s today and it was great! My MFM doc was very pleased with babies' progress and mine. The girl measured 13 oz, the boy measured 12, and they were mostly cooperative. I have to go back in two weeks so they can get better heart pics of the girl, as she wasn't positioned in a way to get clear pics. They assured me that that was the only reason. Of course I'll worry for another two weeks anyway. My cervix measured well, which was something I was really worried about. I told my husband all of my sleep has paid off.
rosesquared, I was nervous all day and was convinced something was wrong because I didn't feel pregnant. Your feelings are normal (but I know that doesn't make them any better).

My first A/S (apparently I'm having another at 22 weeks after the fetal echo, which is weird to me?) was today. Baby looks great and measured 9 oz at 18w2d. They even got out the 3d/4d U/S which I wasn't expecting and never did with dd so I got to see this kiddo better. I also stayed strong and didn't find out! If I could get pics to work I would AW but still no luck getting them to work!

Oh and best of all, my SCH is pretty much gone! It was so small they couldn't even measure it. So I got released to exercise as long as I take it easy and taken off pelvic rest which DH is excited about!!

Finally had my a/s! Everything looked great!!! I do have an anterior placenta which I'm bummed about and she's currently breech but they don't worry about that for a while. Also she's measuring 2 days small but they give that a 20 day window so she's good. I'm actually glad she isn't measuring big given how much sugar I've been eating lol. So freaking relieved!

rosesquared they told me yesterday at my growth scan that they won't start worrying about position until 34-36 weeks. It was the same with DS. There's plenty of room for them to move around
Speaking of breech. DD was breech at 37 weeks. My doctor told me she'd give her one week to turn before putting me on schedule for CS. When she turned, I felt it. It was pretty uncomfortable, but I was so glad she did. We have plenty of times for babes to turn around.

I'm planning to go to a spinning babies workshop which is really good for getting the baby and your body in the optimal position for birth. So yeah I'm def not worried yet! I'll try to post a pic later! What was crazy and I didn't realize is the mfm said this would likely be my last u/s before the baby but I imagine because of the breech they'll have to do a later one!

I didn't get an ultrasound later on. The doctor I had just felt the baby by pushing around and could tell she was head up. I wasn't convinced and she told me they would do an ultrasound to definitely confirm before we scheduled csection but I didn't need one because she flipped around. Point is it very well could be the last ultrasound you have!!! Doctors are very good about determining position by touch, especially once the babes are close to term. Crazy to think! But consider yourself lucky, I have 2 genetic screening scans following my anatomy scan. I didn't realize with DD how lucky I was to have a normal pregnancy. This one is so much more stressful with extra testing and scanning.
Definitely plenty of time for baby to turn! If you get towards the end of your pregnancy you can see if your provider is experienced with external versions to turn baby. I had that done with DD around 38 weeks and it gave me a shot at vaginal delivery. I ended up with a c for different reasons anyway, but I'm glad I had a chance.

^^ this. They usually will only do a scan to confirm position when breech. It's extremely common for baby to be breech at the A/S.
I was breeched with this one and he's now head down. However, I suspect he'll be back to breech at the next scan. All the extra scans and monitoring are stressful :/
I'm so relieved that I'm not the only one whose kid is breech right now and that it sounds like we've got lots of time for them to turn. I was actually just talking to H about how nervous it was making me last night!
I have one transverse up top (boy) and one head down on my left (girl), but the girl's placenta is anterior, so I'm not feeling much movement. The boy's placenta is closer to my cervix than hers, but the docs weren't overly concerned about it. All of this is fascinating to me!
