Soooo cold. Apparently the kids still go outside at daycare. I need to get N a warmer puffer jacket. I can't believe they still go out in 20 degree weather.
I forgot my Unisom & B6. I'm debating whether I should go out to CVS right now during my free block and pick some up. It's my only hope of making it to the christmas party tonight. But I don't know if I should go to that anyway, since yesterday I went straight home and stayed in bed all evening. I don't want to leave H on his own two days in a row.
And I'm giving tests this afternoon, so I'm kind of scared I'll fall asleep at my desk if I take Unisom. But I also think that sitting here too long is what made me feel crappy yesterday. It's better if I just force myself to get up and do something.

vlagroupie I'm pretty sure in KY they can't take the kids out if it's below 32 degrees or something close to that. I'm surprised OH doesn't have a similar policy.
I'm happy that they take them outside still. My kid turns into a crazy person if he doesn't get that time to go out and run around. But yeah, we sent him in a coat that wasn't warm enough one day this week and they asked us to send a different one. I need to get him a hat and gloves too.

I feel like there's not much difference in how cold it feels when it's 30* versus 20*. It's effing cold. I don't think it's a big deal to let the kids out. If they're bundled correctly, as they should be, let them play. Especially if it's snowing, they should have a blast.
And it's not 20 degrees all day long. I think during this time of the year, they rearrange their schedule a little to be able to go outside when it's a little warmer.
mrscatfarmer13, I think it's a proboards thing I've had the spacebar thing happen to me twice, and it's always when I'm trying to edit/add something to a post
Our daycare has a sign up that basically says 32 and up they go outside every day and dress your child accordingly. The problem is my kid takes his coat off on his own and refuses to wear hats and gloves so...

I have the opposite problem, mine wears his coat all day. Yesterday he took off his hoodie and put on his coat at dc.
I need to get some fun craft supplies. I'm used to DC having unlimited stuff at my fingertips. They have some things here, but I think a trip to Michaels is in order.

I have a 5 of $25 you can have
vlagroupie I use the same weather app as the school so if it's over 32 they go out. We leave an extra pair of gloves and hat at school. I'm remote want me to run up a pair for N?

N has a hat, gloves, extra sweater and coat. So she should be good, thanks tho! MH said they were outside when he picked up yesterday and her face was all red from the cold. I'm sure she's fine, it was pretty windy yesterday. So the rule is 32 degrees and above they go out?
Perfect timing. My mom called and asked if I needed anything from JoAnns so I asked her for a few toddler friendly craft supplies. Now I'm ready for the afternoon. Side note: apparently mortgage lenders don't work on Fridays. WTH?

Yes. They use the weather channel app. I used to be so annoyed but the kids love it. Plus A is generally exhausted so I love out door time lol
We went to Nashville. It's going good so far. The mall was fun and DS liked Rain forest cafe. The mall had a carousel and lots of things to do in Bass Pro Shops. We're downtown now. Going line dancing at Wildhorse
