I'm just so excited to see his face this year now that they're really starting to understand how things work. Not looking forward to the driving back and forth
Even as a pre-kid adult Christmas morning has always been my favourite part of the year. Since having kids we always spend it at our place, just the 4 of us, which is literally the only holiday all year I'm firm about what we need to do. Growing up it was always just soent with just our family amidst all the other holiday travels and it's just a tradition I really want to carry on. H always makes hot chocolate and we open gifts and just spend some Christmas time together as a family. This year I can just see how much more fun it's going to be for both kids. Gah! It's just my favourite.

Christmas Eve we travel to 3 different houses and then host family for Christmas Day dinner. I'm excited for DD to see all of her presents under the tree on Christmas morning:)
I'm excited for G to open her stocking and presents.
That's kind of it though. I love the Christmas season and am enjoying the decorations, music, and Christmas movies, but this year we are having to travel way more than normal on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day and I'm super salty about it.

I'm excited to actually celebrate at home this year.In the past we have always spent the night at the inlaws', but I told DH it was too complicated and I wanted to stay here. So we actually get to fill stockings and watch them open them and everything!
I'm excited for Christmas Eve at my mom's house. My entire family shows up and it's a lot of fun! We eat a lot of food (mostly cookies I make) & drink a lot so it gets loud!
I'm also really excited to stay in our pjs all day on Christmas Day and play with toys!

tiffbot, since DS, our little family being home Christmas morning is also the only thing I'm super firm on. Christmas Eve is at my parents' house, Christmas afternoon/dinner we are at MIL's, and the next day is with FIL's side. So I really enjoy our little island of calm in the midst of everything.
Also, my mom cooks duck on Christmas Eve, and it's the most delicious thing ever, and the only day all year we eat it. I can't wait for duck, dumplings, and a big glass of red wine.

I can't wait for December 22nd to be honest! That's DH's last day away for the year, so it's really the start of Christmas for us. Christmas Eve is always my absolute favourite though.
Not working. Also i love watching people unwrap presents. Im sure LO will be excited but DD is the one who will get it more so im looking forward to watching her the most.

I'm most excited to see DD's face on Christmas morning when she sees her presents. We're leaving a few big things unwrapped so that she'll get a mix of opening and also getting the instant gratification of seeing new toys.
And of course I'm excited for food. Lots and lots of food. Last year I couldn't eat dairy or soy due to DD's intolerance so I fully plan to make up for that this year.

I was really sad this year, because my (foster) family(who I have spent the last 10 Christmases with) are going to Charleston SC and I wasn't invited. But K and I have made plans for his parents to come up and my (bio) dad to come over and I'm really looking forward to it now! I'm excited to start new traditions!
jillywilly now I'll ditto you and say yes my grandma usually makes duck on Christmas Eve too and I think we'll be able to be there for it this year the way everything is working out!

I'm super excited to see Js reaction to the presents under the tree and the whole production of opening and wrapping everywhere. I don't know, I just love the living room strewn with wrapping paper! Then we have brunch and I do believe Ill add mimosas this year (thanks @scoop!)
ALSO! Sooo excited for Xmas eve at my parents, with all the cousins and especially seeing J and the new baby. My mom got all 4 girls matching outfits so it should be ultra adorbz. I really hope SS will be with us too.
