How is breastfeeding going? Great. He is a super distracted nurser when we NIP, but all in all he's doing awesome.
Do you have any short term/long term goals? Short term pumping- make it to June. Long term is for nursing- have baby self wean after 1.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Going back to work today ;(
How are nights? They range from terrible to pretty good. Anywhere from 2-6 wake ups.
Any teeth/signs of teething? I think I see two white spots on the bottom.
Questions/AW/Rant? Just really nervous about going back to work. My schedule is super flexible so I can add a session in if things start to go south. Here is the current outline. Any time we are together I'll NOD. Anyone have any thoughts?
7:00a- nurse
10a-pump
1p- pump
3:30- home nurse
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? We aren't big vacationers. Haven't taken one since the kids were born, but we loved Mexico. We went there for our honeymoon.
How is breastfeeding going? Good, I could live without all the wriggling, head turning, pinching, kicking, unlatching and relatching, and nipple pulling though. Sometimes feeding her feels like wrestling with an octopus. The one advantage of night feeds, at least she's calm and focused.
Do you have any short term/long term goals? I'd like to make it to a year.
How are nights? Not good. I can't get her to sleep in her crib at all. She'll fall asleep easily on the bed, but the last three nights she's been up at least every 1.5 hours to eat/with bad gas. I did have cheese on Friday for the first time in a long time I think I'll go back to not eating that for awhile.
Any teeth/signs of teething? DH is convinced she's teething but I don't see any signs of teeth.
Questions/AW/Rant? DD wants to be attached to a boob pretty much all the time when her stomach is bothering her, so she's been eating very frequently the past couple days. She's already been eating/sucking for over an hour this morning with the occasional break to cry when she wants to switch sides. I feel like I'm feeding a newborn again.
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? I like camping vacations best. When I was a kid every summer we would do a road trip to one or two of the national parks.

How old is LO? 3 months tomorrow
How is breastfeeding going? Good. I had been dealing with right side nipple pain pretty much the whole time since that side is a bit flat, but now that DS is getting bigger it's getting much better.
Do you have any short term/long term goals? ST - hopefully pump enough once I go back to work to keep up EBF/P. LT - I'd love to make it a year.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? I go back January 3. Hopefully my supply keeps up ok with pumping.
How are nights? Depends on the night. We had gotten up to getting a consistent 6-7 hour stretches, but the past week has dropped back to 4-ish hours being the longest. Last night was 5.5 hours so hopefully we're headed back to the longer stretches.
Any teeth/signs of teething? No teeth yet. He has been drooling/blowing spit bubbles and sticking his hands in his mouth a lot, but I was assuming it wasn't teething related yet.
Questions/AW/Rant? Nothing right now. Just can't believe my little guy is 3 months tomorrow already. Not nursing related, but he doesn't like to nap during the day. Very rarely can I get him to sleep when I try to put him down for a nap. He'll doze after nursing, but those naps typically only last 20-30 minutes. Sucks cause then he gets overtired and really fussy by the end of the day.
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? Aruba. MH and I went there for our honeymoon then went back last year as a kickoff to TTC/anniversary trip.
How is breastfeeding going? Great. My supply has rebounded after a brief dip.
Do you have any short term/long term goals? Feels good to be nearly at 6 months, looking forward to a year.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? I haven't done my morning pump in 2 days. It's been a nice break.
How are nights? Afraid to say out loud that she is finally going to bed before 10pm. We've added a wake up because of earlier bedtime. Down at 9pm up at 2:30 and 6:30. Yesterday she went back down for a few hours but this morning she was up for awhile.
Any teeth/signs of teething? Nothing yet
Questions/AW/Rant? Since she's added in an extra night feeding I haven't had to pump in the morning. I feel torn on wanting her to sleep and wanting to drop that pump. Not sure how to if she goes back to 1 night feeding because I'm super engorged and uncomfortable if I don't pump.
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? Outer Banks, NC. I went every summer growing up because my grandparents had a timeshare. DH's family did too so we already have a beach house booked for this summer. Can't wait to take DD.

How old is LO? a week shy of 5 months
How is breastfeeding going? great, never really had any problems with it
Do you have any short term/long term goals? 6 months/ 12 months. We just started rice cereal in a bottle of BM before bed and it breaks my heart watching him drink a bottle...I know it's silly but I love nursing so every step of him getting older and getting away from EBF is sad.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? good, have my own office so it's easy to get in 3 times a day. I'm always worried about not pumping enough but then it always ends up by Saturday I have 4-5 extra bags to freeze.
How are nights? fucking terrible. nuff said
Any teeth/signs of teething? all the signs for sure!!
Questions/AW/Rant?
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? I've been all over and I love so many places and countries. I guess the only place we return to is Myrtle Beach. If I could afford it, I'd return to England annually.
It's going okay, thanks! I pump twice at work (I'm out by 3:00), but I've only been getting 4-5 oz. then I got my period today. I'm hoping to see an increase in my supply once it's done.
We are trying to find a happy medium with his bottle situation though. My MIL fed him 12oz while I was at work yesterday because he "seemed hungry". Today my H had him and he only ate 5 oz. I'm thinking three 3oz bottles would be perfect for him. He could take them at 9:30, 11:30, and 1:30 and I'm home by 3:30 to start NOD again.
melody330 12 ounces?! Holy moly. DD is the same age and barely finishes 3oz bottles (though I think she just takes enough to get by) so that should hopefully work for you guys.
Hi Ladies! This is my first time posting on this board! Hoping to get to know you all
How old is LO? Baby girl M will be 5 months on Sunday!
How is breastfeeding going? We have been very fortunate so far. M has been a nursing rock star from the beginning. We were very lucky to have no latch or supply issues, pretty much from the start.
Do you have any short term/long term goals? Long term goal is to make it one year. Short term I guess is just to make sure M continues to thrive with EBF'g/pumping.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? I went back to work 4 weeks ago; attempting to still EBF and pump, and its been a little rocky but I think we're hitting a groove. I had a pretty significant supply dip last week, but started some Motherlove More Milk herbal drops and it bounced right back (and then some!). M also started waking more often at night again around the same time.. so not sure whether that caused a supply dip during the day or if she was waking because she wasn't getting enough.
How are nights? She had been doing amazingly well for a few weeks... sleeping straight through 11-12 hours (I have no idea how we got so lucky). However, the last 10 days or so she went back to multiple wake ups and having a hard time getting back to sleep. I think it was a combination of the 4 month sleep regression, teething and getting used to me being gone during the day. We got a 6 hour stretch last night, so hopefully things are returning to "normal."
Any teeth/signs of teething? She has two bottom teeth!
Questions/AW/Rant? Her appetite during the day is definitely up (even though my supply has returned to normal) so we're getting ready to start some solids this weekend. After lots of research, I think we're going to start with baby oatmeal just to get her used to the consistency before going with whole foods. Any tips on starting solids? She's been soooo interested in food I think I'm a little nervous she'll start to prefer it over nursing.
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? ETA: Anywhere with a beach!
pttomato, M had pretty bad reflux in the beginning and loved to nurse constantly, so I totally understand! I think it was soothing for her to swallow. spicysalmonroll, We're getting ready to start cereal too, and its very bittersweet. LadyNymeria, hiiiiiii! And yay to finally posting in the same board lol
Do you have any short term/long term goals? Long term goal is a year. I made it to 13 month with DS1, so hopefully the same with DS2.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Fine, I don't pump as many oz as I did with DS1. DS2 seems to eat a lot less. Not sure how that will go over with my upcoming travel trips.
How are nights? He still wakes up 3-5 times.
Any teeth/signs of teething? Not yet.
Questions/AW/Rant? DS2 just doesn't seem as interested in food. He is pretty small weight wise - the pedi said if he is still small at his 4 month check up then we might start solids a bit earlier. DS1 was always heavy (breastfed all the freaking time) so this is unusual to me.
GTKY: What is your favorite vacation spot? Jamaica
melody330 12 ounces?! Holy moly. DD is the same age and barely finishes 3oz bottles (though I think she just takes enough to get by) so that should hopefully work for you guys.
H has been home with LO the rest of the week. He has been taking 2.5 ounces in each bottle, only taking about 7-8 oz while I'm gone. Much more doable!
