How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing about 8ish times in 24 hrs but NOD so it varies a bit. Solids 3x a day mostly, we are starting to get to the point where we can't skip if we are busy.
How are nights? 1-3 wake ups trying to keep it at 2 or 1 and let her cry for longer to see if she goes back down herself. Last night it worked and she only nursed 2x even though she woke up 3.
How is pumping/nursing going? Great. Finally starting to drop some sessions and not just because she is napping less!
Q/rants/raves had her 9 month check up this AM and the doc asked about milk (meaning /formula not milk milk) and when I said we were still just nursing she looked so surprised and said "way to go mama!" Lol. I know statistically most ppl don't make it this far but most of the mom's I know IRL are still nursing so it doesn't feel like that. Nice to get a pat on the back sometimes!
GTKY: Any special plans coming up for the holiday season? We are headed back to Philly! I must have been insane when I agreed to go for thanksgiving and Xmas!!
I see her first tooth popping through. She isn't wanting to nurse much today so I'm guessing it's bothering her a little. I'm freaking out. I'm so scared of nursing with teeth. I am feeling emotional and worried I will have to end our breastfeeding relationship. I know I need to calm down and just deal with it but this milestone is really getting to me.
GTKY: we are just doing lots of family time which I'm excited about!

westiemom my LO has had her bottom teeth since 5 months and we are still going strong. It is impossible to nurse and bite at the same time biting generally occurs either when they are latching on or are done. My LO but me once while she was upset and I was trying to get her on and she was not feeling it. Honestly in the scheme of nursing stuff it didn't hurt that much. The milk blisters I have had where way worse! Don't throw in the towel! Plenty of people have no issues with biting!

Thank you for the encouragement! That helps so much!

westiemom my LO has 5 teeth and is working on 3 more right now. What jewel441 said is right. I get the occasional bite when she's latching on or done and just playing, but it's not bad and isn't stopping us. And I nursed my son for a year and he never once bit me, even with a mouthful of teeth at the end.
How old is baby? 9 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing probably 8ish times a day and 1-3 times overnight. Solids 3 times a day.
How are nights? Up 1-3 times. All of the sudden she's started with an 11 o'clock wake up again so I'm trying to eliminate that again.
How is pumping/nursing going? Great. Pump output is a little low this week due to AF starting, but I know it'll rebound in a few days.
Q/rants/raves: in get lots of comments on how I'm still nursing the baby at our toddler playgroup. Mostly good and encouraging, but I feel the occasional judgment. I would rather not get any comments.
GTKY: Any special plans coming up for the holiday season? My birthday is next Monday, so DH is keeping the kids Sunday and I'm going out for a girls afternoon/evening. Just dinner and shopping. Then Christmas is split between our families, but no travel is involved, so that's nice.
Thanks halfahippy for the encouragement! Also, I can't believe people say things to you! That's just uncomfortable and odd. Sorry you are dealing with that!
