I like snow generally. I won't like it once I'm back to work for sure. It's been awful the few times I've had to get the two kids in and out at daycare pick up on drop off with rain. Snow will be worse if it's sticking and slippery.
Not a fan of the snow. Today sucks because I realized as I was getting ready that I had to be at work early and had to leave in like 5 minutes. So I look like shit.
And I have to go straight from work to Bub's Christmas program. So it's going to be a long day, seeing a lot of people, looking like shit. Blah

I'm a snow fan in December and January. If it's going to be cold and gray or dark, it may as well be pretty and snowing.
After New Years, I would just like to skip to April.
Haha yeah that is how I usually feel. At least this year I'm holed up with baby until end of March, so it's either going to go fast or dreadfully slow.

My first was super slow. I think because it was a shit show of sorts. This time I don't thin I'm getting any more sleep but I was way more mentally prepared for it and too busy to focus on it negatively for too long or feel sorry for myself. You've got shit to do and the toddler keeps on and you gotta keep up. The baby is an after thought most of the time except the quiet time during the day when he needs me or motn. Like today I'm wrapping presents and yesterday was laundry and unpacking and the baby will be fed and changed when I get around to it or he demands it.
I'm finishing up the last poncho from my first round of orders today. becole I promised your car seat cover next. I need to run to JoAnns anyway. Do you still want the blue/ green plaid? Any thoughts on if you'd like an opening/ what kind?

Did you have a navy and green or yellow? I can't remember. What are the choices for openings? I just want to be able to keep it on the seat without a struggle and get it on and off easy.
What about a bike for this kid? He won't stop talking about it. We have a countdown to Christmas Eve and this was his talking yesterday: "we get to 24 and then Santa bring me a blue bike for happy birthday Jesus."

Welp.
We got DS this bike when it was a lightning deal for only $40 last month. He likes it. He mostly straddles it and walks, but whatev. I'm hoping he'll get the hang of the balance thing and it will make learning to ride a bike easier someday. He likes this more than his trike because he still has a hard time with the pedals.

This is what I have here now. I could just do no opening and it could slip on and off with elastic. Some of them have a flap near the face so you can open it once you're in the car for air flow and I think some have a zipper down the middle.
He has a balance bike. He don't want it. He is really good at peddling a bike. A real bike. My nephew has a 16 inch wheel bike with training wheels and he rides it. My 3 yo nephew can't even ride the bike. He can even peddle backwards to back up and turn around. He was riding one in my parents basement last weekend and my dad called me down there to ask if I knew he could ride like that. I did not. He even knows how to brake. I know I want the chain to be enclosed but idk what else is important for a bike to have.

ETA: those are more lime green than yellow
It would be a nice feature to be able to have him breathe with a flap or zipper without me having to remove it. Idk how time consuming that is though to make.

Ooooh... yeah... good luck with that. LOL. My kid has zero clue his balance bike isn't a real bike. So you just go ahead and do all the research and share with the class once you figure out what the best kind is.
They just announced we're doing our monthly fire drill tomorrow. At 9am. When it's 20 degrees out. Ugh. In the same email she announced a jeans day, so I think they're realizing they messed up by not getting it in last week when it wasn't so cold, and they're trying to make up for it. None of my jeans fit though, so that doesn't even matter. I'm bitter about this.
