They just announced we're doing our monthly fire drill tomorrow. At 9am. When it's 20 degrees out. Ugh. In the same email she announced a jeans day, so I think they're realizing they messed up by not getting it in last week when it wasn't so cold, and they're trying to make up for it. None of my jeans fit though, so that doesn't even matter. I'm bitter about this.
Ugh. And this is your last week of school isn't it?
He has a balance bike. He don't want it. He is really good at peddling a bike. A real bike. My nephew has a 16 inch wheel bike with training wheels and he rides it. My 3 yo nephew can't even ride the bike. He can even peddle backwards to back up and turn around. He was riding one in my parents basement last weekend and my dad called me down there to ask if I knew he could ride like that. I did not. He even knows how to brake. I know I want the chain to be enclosed but idk what else is important for a bike to have.
Ooooh... yeah... good luck with that. LOL. My kid has zero clue his balance bike isn't a real bike. So you just go ahead and do all the research and share with the class once you figure out what the best kind is.
I'm seeing like this bmk brand that's like $100 but they actually look safe. But then there's like $50 character bikes. But he's not into any characters. Based on the chart it says 2-3 get a 12 inch wheel. But my nephews is a 16 inch wheel and bil said my niece outgrew the 12 inch in one season so they got #2 the bigger one. I know DS can ride it so I guess I'll get the bigger one. We don't have room for this but it's all he talks about with Santa. That Santa is bringing his big bike. I was like- but you've got a bike- it's right here (the 3 in 1 trike). He's like- no- I want a big bike. Like nephew.

Tomorrow is the last day of classes, and then we have exams Thurs, Fri, Mon, Tues. So that's why it has to happen tomorrow.
becole, if it was me, I'd definitely go bigger, since it will probably get minimal use until spring, and I'd want it to last as long as possible even if it means it's a little too big for him now.
Also, if santa doesn't bring him a bike, he's probably not going to notice because there will be so many other gifts and exciting things on Christmas. Personally, I wouldn't buy outdoor toys for Christmas if I could avoid it, because I don't want to go outside with the kid to play with it. LOL
I really want to barf right now and get it over with. I'm so nauseous I can't take it anymore.
It is gross/bad that I've made myself gag to to throw up and relieve the nausea?? Sorry you're dealing with that right now.
Right after I typed that I had to run to the bathroom. I feel much better.
I wont make myself throw up. I did so much of it with DS pregnancy that I could never purposely do it to myself. But the constant nausea is just as bad, maybe worse, because it's like, there's no relief.

becole E got a 12 inch bike last year (frozen because she is obsessed). She loves it and rode it all spring/summer/fall (until she was 3). We'll have to get her something bigger next year (she also started begging us to take the training wheels off so she can be like her friend that is six). I'd try to just get something inexpensive like a character bike if you get the 12 inch since he'll outgrow in a year.

mominthemaking14 send me all your good negotiation vibes. My lease is up in may and I got a "pull ahead" lease promo in the mail. I called the salesman and told him I'm only interested in getting a new car if I can keep my payments exactly the same and increase miles. Their current lease promo is better than when I originally leased so this should be doable for them. This would also benefit me since I won't have to pay mileage overage (im way over on miles). I'm trying to keep myself from getting sucked into being too excited by the prospect of getting a new car that I strike a bad deal. The salesman told me that he talked to his manager and that we would be in there "ballpark." I told him I'm not interested in paying anything more than I am currently. I'll be so pissed if I go in tomorrow and it turns out he was full of shit.
chrispy1122 I had a good negotiating experience when we bought my H's car. For me it came down to being willing to walk away and not backing down from my "number" or offer. Also be clear on what you won't accept. If they counter offer and you don't want to budge, tell them no you won't accept it. I also gave them a deadline (if this isn't decided by x time, I have to go).

Yes! Thanks, lindsay. Good tip on the deadline. I was thinking about going in about an hour before close. I hate when they have to go to the back and "talk to the manager" for 25 minutes.
I have and there's only one in there. They did see something else, but quickly said they didn't think it was a twin because it was nowhere as developed. So even if it once was, there's only a singleton now.

I agree but I know his personality and he focuses on the one thing. So I see Christmas morning with no bike looking like this:
"Where my bike? Where Santa? Happy birthday baby Jesus. Where Birthday cake? Where my bike? What's that x1000"

Delay!! Wait until the last week of the year. I seriously got the best freaking deal on the last day of the year. It's the buyers best day. They want to end the year and quater in the best way.
