Do not want to wear a bra. My boob is burning a bit. Is this a pregnancy thing?
My boobs were super sensitive with DS and they could definitely feel like they were burning a little so I'm going to say yes. Although, this has not been an issue this go-round.

My ranking is: (worst) root canal>dentist>blood work>pap smear (not so bad)
My only root canal took four goddamn hours because the office didn't have the proper tools (the actual specialist doing the root canal was good but she rotated between their facilities and didn't realize this particular location sucked).
I also have shitty veins but I have major anxiety about going to the dentist versus blood draw takes like 2 minutes.
I wish I could have any kind of soda *sigh* 6-ish more weeks of carb watch

We are getting a foot, give or take, of snow sometime starting tonight, I already called in for work tomorrow and plan on doing absolutely nothing all day. We may or may not go back home for Christmas on Saturday, we will see the roads. But I am really really really looking forward to doing absolutely nothing tomorrow!

Enjoy your snow day!!! I'm very happy with my vacation time choice. Snow storms suck.
H is making cube steak for dinner but I just can't get over the texture. Do not want tough meat for dinner. H agreed to drive me to McDs for coke and fries.
I hate you for saying coke and fries. I want Coke so bad! I guess I could get that at any time but there are no good gluten free fries around here. Oh French fries!!!
Does anyone have a magic recipe for something high protein and high calorie but low volume? It also has to be gluten free.
I hate eating. I just can't. One baby is a bit small so I'm trying to increase my calories but it's killing me. Seriously impossible. And I've been eating like a cup of whipped cream to get some more calories and it's giving me awful stomach aches.
Isn't there a magic protein ball that's 700 calories/piece and like 15g/protein each?!
Almost 30w with twins is no joke!
I wish I had a magic recipe but I'm in your boat of hating eating. I know I'm not eating enough.
@wineandcupcakes - Sorry food is so tough for you! The only things I can think of are a bean patty (like a veggie burger) and some kind of nut cluster.
I have the opposite issue for the first half of the day right now: Super hungry. Can't eat enough. I would pass you some of the hunger if I could!

Isn't this NOT what is supposed to happen in pregnancy? I HATE eating. It sucks. These are never things I thought I would say.
I'm eating like 2100-2600/day (I have to track intake because I have a metabolic disorder) and I was trying to increase to 3200 to see if it would help the babies grow. Cannot do it.
I'm trying to create a menu that requires the smallest amount of food while getting the most calories all while meeting my protein goals. Ugh.

Avocados are a good source of healthy fats. Not really protein but they are high calorie and high fat.
I'm stressed over some family drama. Focusing on our good NT scan results! I told H last night we're 6 months out from having a baby and we both realized we need to start moving down our to-do list!

+1 to being stressed over family drama. In my case though, it's Holiday drama that occurs every year. My mother never thinks we spend enough time with her and it's never good enough, no matter how much we work out all visits around HER! I am so over it. I'm pretty sure that next year, I'm going to bite the bullet and put my foot down and just stay home with my little family on Christmas day. We can visit one side of the family the weekend before Christmas, and the other the weekend after Christmas. I'm sick of the drama surrounded by ONE DAY OF THE YEAR!
Anyhoo, I was just trying to commiserate and say I feel you. YAY for good NT scan results.
I've got about 3 months to go until our little one arrives and I still haven't done much on our to-do list. Yikes!
ladytiffany24 your mother sounds similar to my MiL. God forbid we miss the freaking holiDAY and celebrate it on a weekend or a day that is more convenient for both sides
For gluten free just check to make sure the oats are pure and they sell gluten free chocolate chips or you could sub dried cranberries/raisins. You can play around a lot with the recipe and add different nuts/seeds.
Another option is to make smoothies and add 2 tbsp of peanut butter to that smoothie. There's some great smoothie recipes on pinterest.
Couple other tips:
-Start cooking veggies with EVOO to add a bit more calories. -try variety of nut butters if you get burnt out on peanut butter -stay away from fat free/sugar free products, get real food -make your own trail mix or just buy some -add nuts into cereal or oatmeal or just eat as snacks -dipping bread in olive oil is amazing -add avocados or guacamole to foods -whole fat greek yogurt is pretty solid in calories
ladytiffany24 - I could not deal with the same drama year in and year out. My mom much prefers us to all be together on Christmas Day itself, but she's realized the past couple years it won't always work out as there are now in-laws involved. And I am super lucky my in-laws are very flexible. They're happy to see us whenever. Hope you can work it out with your mom.

It's the same issue EVERY YEAR and it has been happening for years. Ever since all 3 of us (me, my brother and sister) became adults. For some reason, she feels like she's entitled to more time than anyone else. Mind you, she's the only single parent, but still. We like to see everyone. Thankfully, my in-laws are very flexible. And my dad's side of the family actually is as well. But even when we go out of our way to accommodate my mom, it's never good enough. My sister and I stress about it every.single.year. And we're both kind of done with it. I'm sure they'll be some hard feelings when we "cut the cord" next year, but hopefully she can come to terms with it and deal with it. I mean, it's not like we're refusing to see her altogether! We're just trying to avoid the drama and make time for everyone and start traditions with our own little families. Just because it's not on the actual holiDAY shouldn't make it any less special. Ugh!
ladytiffany24 - Good luck cutting the cord. I hope she gets over it quickly. At least you see her around the holiday every year! I'm pretty sure my sister is going to start trading off each year between our parents and her in-laws. Maybe use that as an example of how it could be worse?

I'm so sleepy. People keep asking me questions about my loaners and I can't even think of any answers. I just stare and rub my eyes and try to remember what they just asked. On the other hand, I have started my raspberry leaf tea regiment today and it's windy and overcast and gross looking outside so I guess today is as good as any to be drinking tea all the time.

90 more minutes of work, then NST and u/s. Hopefully baby girl cooperates. I'm also curious to see if she's still breech. I think she is because I feel little toes/kicks down lower versus feeling a bony skull in my pelvis.
After that I have to do a quick grocery shop for my baby shower tomorrow. My sister is flying up from Los Angeles tomorrow morning and I'm super excited to see her.
