Wish me luck today is my 4 hour presentation for my senior leadership team. Then we have a holiday party and after dinner drinks on the town... not sure I'll be able to keep up lol. Happy Thursday
Just sorting some squeezy caps and watching Little Einsteins this morning. I need to get up and get moving. My grandma offered to take Z for the day so I can run errands so I need to head over there. H is home sick, but hopefully I can work in the basement this afternoon. Fortunately his bosses offered to let us use some extra storage space at work so we don't have to rent a unit. I'm super excited about that because now we can work on it slowly instead of waiting until the last minute before we list to save money.
Exactly. Personality is 75% of success in business IMO. 25% is competence because if you're not competent, then lol nope. But just make em like you! Not hard for you.
Can I just say I saw @dogmama22s little boy and nanny boy in their car seat capes yesterday and they were the cutest things ever. You all need to look into it because it seriously looks so easy to get on and off and just pick them up out of their seats with it on.

That's my philosophy and its worked me so far lol.

I honestly can't picture the caps lol. I negotiated some pricing on the groups behalf last week but I have no clue what I was fighting for.
I would like to say JoBub, I did some mental math this morning and I shocked the crap out of myself.

dogmama22, do older kids use them too? My sister has a 4 year old and has been wanting one. I know you're overloaded right now. Lol I need to learn to use the sewing machine. Such an easy task that I was never taught. MIL has one... I should have her teach me.

dogmama22, OMG!!! Yes you need to sell those in Red Ballon and what's that place you go to all the time Blue CoXXXX .... those are amazing. I almost want to put in a request for one before you're on a year backlog lol. Freaking genius. Now I know what I was fighting for lol --- 3 hours is good timing, that's more PROFIT!! If you got it down to 2 hours you'd have a 50% profit margin (Yes JoBub, I did that math in my head lol)
Thanks everyone! I think they would work well for a 4 year old babylove518. I see those sizes on my sewing page. I've had a lot of interest, but I only have a few more official orders, so if anyone wants one, PM me (mominthemaking14). I'd like to buy fabric today so let me know what kinds of colors/ prints you'd be interested in. I can also buy fabric this weekend, but I am going today for sure. I think we need to do a sewing/ crafting G2G after the new year. I suck at following patterns, but I know the basics and can help teach.

dogmama22 I'm going to talk to her then I will text you! How do the sizes go? Like does it go by year, or height, or what? Basically how long can I expect one to fit her for? lol

So far I've done a newborn size with a small hood and slightly smaller poncho. I do a toddler one that's 30" from neck to bottom and 35" from arm to arm. I can't really do any longer than 30", but I can make it wider. Just have her measure from wrist to wrist (or I can guess based on her height). The one tutorial I read said the one she made for her 2yo, he was still wearing at 4. I'll post another picture in the PG for size reference.
dogmama22 for my infant one- maybe you could make a blanket cape that they could grow into with an extra fabric flap that could be throw over the top of the car seat covering their face? Am I making sense?

FFFC -- I didn't know they were not suppose to wear their coats in the car until babylove518, or dogmama22, posted that link on FB ... horrible mom right here.

I was thinking about that, but then I'm worried about the flap being right against his face. This is what they look like with a small baby in the car. The hood would be smaller, but the poncho would be the same size. What if I add 2 snaps on the back with a flap you could drape over the top. Next year you can just un-snap the flap.

Definitely not a horrible mom. Tons of people don't know about it. Which is why we share links the more you know!

Whatever you think will work. I'm excited about the fact he could grow into it and not just grow out of it! You should patent your idea when you get it perfect.
