Help me with a toy decision! To purchase or not to purchase

I can't speak to that specific toy, but on the recommendation of other moms here, we wound up getting this for DS for Christmas:

It's obviously bigger, so I'm not sure how much space is an issue for you (we have a dining room with zero furniture we're basically turning into his "toddler gym" for now), so I'm hoping the climbing factor will keep him entertained for a while - or at least get us through the winter without going crazy by not getting to play outside as much.

ETA - this specific one is more expensive since we bought it - it looks like there's similar ones on pretty good sale right now, though.

We have one like carrots and I just took it down to the basement since DD is too big for it now. She enjoyed it more at the crawling/cruising stage. I have seen the one you linked and think it's slightly taller, but still think it may be a bit boring for your LO.

We bought one of these for C when she was about 9 months off of Craigslist. I think we paid like $15 for it and it was worth it for the price. It's hit or miss if she plays with it anymore though. I'll probably retire it when we give her the kitchen for Christmas.
