I'm up late again on this very early Friday morning! Hope all the mamas and new babies this week are doing well!
I am having the most annoying pregsomnia evening. After not being able to sleep due to awful heartburn and crazy baby dance parties, I thought, "hey, a nice quick late night warm shower might help." When I went into the bathroom, my cat followed me in there and proceeded to puke up wet food 3 times all over the bathroom floor, including on the bath mat which I had just washed. So I spent 15 minutes cleaning that up.
Then I really wanted to take a shower, because ew, cat vomit. I then made the intelligent decision to try to shave my legs with a 39 week belly and crazy swollen ankles. Yeah. I cut myself in like 3 places. You know that whole thing about having more blood when you're pregnant? I spent the next *45* minutes bending over holding toilet paper against my legs and waiting for those fuckers to stop bleeding enough so I could put on some band aids and call it a night. So what was meant to be a 10 minute quick relaxing shower turned out to be over an hour of dealing with blood and vomit. Yay! Needless to say, I'm still awake.

emilie, holy moly! Okay well my night actually went about the same. So I have been battling a very minor yeast infection, so I usually do natural remedies that have never steered me wrong. WELL with this bun in the oven I guess I was wrong. I usually take apple cider vinegar (1-2 tablespoons) mixed with water. I did so before dinner ate dinner no biggie right...wrong! I woke up at 1-2 am feeling like I was going to throw up...then ran to the bathroom and felt like I was going to die so I sit on the toilet. NOW mind you I was like oh shit this fast..back labor. I was like but its to extreme and not going away. Well I proceeded to have a bowel movement for 30 mins that didn't stop it was like I was peeing (sorry tmi). I finally got myself to some type of resolve..and took two tums and propped myself up to try and sleep. luckily lil man was going nuts..so I wasn't to worried. I did pass out. But I am exhausted today and achy. I tell you never again..lol..Apple cider vinegar is a slight laxative..who would of thunk.
I always love how animals feel the need to come to you to do something gross. I would rather find it..but I guess at least the bathroom floor and a rug are easier to clean then like a carpet. I need to get a mani and pedi STAT...I am sorry my toes are horrific since I can't really reach to clip and paint. SO I have been hacking a lil..okay ALOT. lol. I might try this weekend..but we are dealing with polar vortex. So I would have to go clear.
OMG emilie , that is awful!!! I'm sorry Those are the moments when I wonder if we'll replace our cat after she passes away or just live a feline vomit free life for a few years. Also sorry about the blood, sit on the edge of the tub next time!!
WineNChocolate , ugh sorry you had a rough night last night, too! Hoping you're feeling better today on all fronts!
W , YES regarding the last day of work, it's wonderful isn't it?!
crimpgirl, glad your tests are going well, but that sucks to have a parking fee every time! At least ours validates, as annoying as the whole ramp/validation piece is. I'm honestly thinking of finding a new OB if we decide to TFAS because I am so done with that f'ing ramp. Enjoy your last few days before due date!!

woohoo W and Winnifred, today is my last day of work, too!! Yippee!!
Ugh, your morning sounds super rough, emilie. I hope it goes waaaayyy up from here! You, too, WineNChocolate. Sheesh. I've been toying with the idea of getting one last pedicure, but meh. I can't muster up any fucks to give about what my feet look like right now. LOL.

lastnamewithheld, I could not handle 78 degrees! LOL I've been running so hot since I became pregnant, I'd be sweating like crazy if I were you! Sorry!
I'm super excited because I asked my boss if I could leave a little early (because snow) and she suggested I leave at noon to work form home the rest of the day. YAY! OMG I need to make some notes for myself and figure out what I need to do. So weird not planning on coming back until March!
One more week of work after today. Secret goal#3 is really to make it through Monday since my kids are writing essays and it's just easier if I am there to "grade" them.
I had my last chiro appointment yesterday. I'm glad it's the last one because it was so uncomfortable to lay down while he did his work on my round ligaments and pubic bone. Luckily he said everything seemed nicely aligned, so hopefully nothing will get too out of whack for labor. He said he could tell she had dropped a little.
lastnamewithheld, 78!? I would be so miserable in 78. crimpgirl, I can't believe it's one week left too! Other than maybe dropping a little bit I have no signs or symptoms that she's coming anytime soon either. If I make it to my 40 week appointment next week I will be very eager to see what's going on.
I had to leave Cora for the first time yesterday while I went to the grocery store after H got home. I needed to stock up because we were out of everything, and they're predicting 7-11 inches of snow this afternoon and tonight. I wanted H to drive my car today because it's better in the snow (bigger and heavier) than his little car, because the snow is supposed to start before his drive home. It was the quickest grocery trip ever -- I hated being away from her for that short time, but I didn't want to take her out in that cold (It was freaking COLD).
All that, and H forgot and drove his own car this morning.
requiressnacks, those are SO PRECIOUS!!!! Your babies are just beautiful!
I am so tired, I cannot wait to get out of here. At the same time, I've had this serious need to get to a store and purchase something warm and cozy for baby. Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's the hormones, but I'm absolutely convinced I'll finally have everything I need if she has one more fleece sleeper, LOL.

Pre-snow storm Target trip it is...
Thanks!!
I too am obsessed with keeping the babes warm. Enjoy your trip to Target!! I've spent way more money there in the last month than I care to admit.

guys I scheduled my first acupuncture session to help induce labor! BRING IT ON.. I did it with DD last time. I mean I did go into labor on the day after my due date. I would say it helped haha.
requiressnacks, I love the pics! I love his expression in the one with the brown hat.
crimpgirl, My dream would be to walk into my 40 week appointment and have her do a check and accidentally break my water or something ridiculous like that. I've already had a conversation with the baby that at 10:17(I'm done with students at 10:16) on Friday she can start making her way out, just let me finish the semester, I'm so close!
ugh WineNChocolate , sorry you are dealing with that. yeast infections are the worst. good luck with the acupuncture!
W happy last day of work! it has been very fun to tell people I am due “next week” when they ask. I mean, I guess I’m technically due on the 25th, but I am having a baby on Monday…
Winnifred happy last day of work! and that’s crazy that you don’t have heat. luckily, you won’t have to deal with that cold office after today for a little bit! also, I love my cat so much, I do, but I think when she’s not around anymore (she’s 13) I might just do a few years without the cat puke and the cat hair on everything. I also don’t think I would able to find a sweeter cat to replace her someday
crimpgirl how was the movie? the reviews aren’t great - I’m not super motivated to haul my pregnant ass to see it this weekend. I think I might have to see La La Land though.
lastnamewithheld - FFFC - 78 would be my dream. I am that person who has the heat on in her car in July.
requiressnacks OMG those pics. so cute. do they bring all those props? or are they yours?
Lucy happy due date to your little muffin! hope the storm isn’t too bad!

emilie, we went to the photogs studio and she had them all there. It was kind of a PITA to get there when the babies were so tiny, but in the end I'm glad we did.
crimpgirl - $14 each time?! That's crazy!! Seems like they would validate parking for you. Sorry you have to deal with that, hopefully not much longer! Seems like those $$ might be tax deductible? Ha ha
emilie, I agree, when we've had a particularly bad week with her (randomly vomiting, usually on our couch or the guest bed), I really think we'll be a single dog household for a while. Hopefully your little sweetie has a few more good years left (and less puke!).
And now that I'm officially working from home, I would like nothing less than to just watch a movie... lol.

We're supposed to get snow here too. And all I can think about is dh better make it to the grocery store first. I need food. My hunger rivals that of baby's...
2 wk appt today. Alex is over 7lbs and def had a growth spurt. He was in 14th percentile before (wt &ht) & now he's 43rd percentile for ht. Still 14th for weight...so he looks skinny. And I'm down 20 lbs. Need to lose 7 more to be back at prepreg weight.

I very rarely out my lurking but oh my goodness, I couldn't NOT say something about those pictures requiressnacks! Your babies are so freaking cute. I would've been in tears the whole time during the picture review.
