I'm off on Fridays, which is awesome because it has already snowed about a foot, with 6-8" more expected throughout the day. So happy to be able to cozy up with my kiddos at home. Jammie's, blankets, and hot chocolate (coffee for me).

Lazy morning at home in our jammies. I've got hot coffee and we will probably go out to play in the snow later.
I'm thinking of getting takeout fish and chips for dinner, and I've got a nice bottle of wine for after bedtime! (9am and I'm looking forward to bedtime! Ha ha)
Ray heated seats are my favorite car feature. I used to drive H's ancient Volkswagen (srsly it was his 16th birthday present) that looked like it crawled out of a junk yard. People asked me all the time if I wanted a new car and I was like "but it's paid for AND has heated seats!! How can it get any better than that!?"
Now I have a car with freezing leather seats. Boo.

Not good: just had my first post pregnancy dentist appointment and had 6 cavities. Now I need to use a prescription toothpaste and have 3 appointments for fillings in the new year. Stupid hormones.
The good: I'm holding my baby while she naps and then we're going to Target for Christmas shopping.

I'm really worried this is going to happen to me when I go to the dentist. I've never had a cavity before but my teeth have been really sensitive lately. Sorry you're having to deal with that, that's a crappy way to start the new year
My new car that I got this year is my first with heated seats. I'm so happy about it. I'm thinking I'm probably going to pay to have remote start installed as well now with a baby and the fact that we are predicted to have a colder than average winter. The high(!!) on Sunday is going to be -10, before windchill. Neat.
Yeaaaah Friday! My aunt and uncle from FL might come over today with my mom to say hi and meet Sam, but if not we're doing a family dinner tomorrow night and then Sam and I are going to hang out with them at my mom's Sunday afternoon so it's going to be a fun weekend! They're my favorite aunt and uncle and last time we saw them was end of June when I was huge, so I'm really looking forward to spending time with them.

Omg I had cavities in my bottom front teeth! Wtf. TOTALY Blaming M. Gl with the fillings.
J has been fighting her naps like crazy and I haven't been able to get her down in the crib all week until just now! Hopefully she'll take a good one because she needs it and I need the hands free time!

My fever broke in the night! (TMI time: it was so gross. I woke up cold and soaking wet with wet blankets. I drank so much water yesterday but I peed brown this morning. Eww) Now I feel so much better.
I'm bending the rules and it's screen time and exersaucer time for everyone while I wash everything in bleach. My room will be nice and fresh soon.
willow I had a remote starter on my car when we lived in CT and it was the best purchase EVER. SO nice getting into a warm car when it was freezing out!

Speaking of dentists. I went today. No cavities for me. But she was able to peak at ds. His teeth are a hot mess.
She's sending me to a kid dentist. He's got plaque build up, decay on his front two teeth headed toward cavities, and we need to work on stopping thumb sucking. His teeth and mouth have shifted from it. .

I had two after DD1. I had never had any in 27 years before that. Then none for 4 years until now after DD2. Pregnancy destroys my teeth. SaveSave

I feel like mother of the year today.
Don't beat yourself up over it. How old is your DS?

He will be 3 in February. This is going to be a hard habit to break. He sucks his thumb alllll the time.
We got ice instead of snow. Like the slightest coating of ice ever, but it brought everything to a halt. I asked H to pick up DD1 from school and it took them an extra 1 hr 15 min to get home. He's annoyed at me now, oops

Ray I'm so sorry. We're just getting over the puke train at my house and I am so thankful the only floor puke was on the bathroom tile.
It's funny because I called to set up cleanings for me and DD today without even reading this dental themed thread. I'm so bad. I haven't been to a dentist since before I got pregnant...with my four-year-old. So it is beyond overdue.
