Product of the succulent building class I went to last night with a group of friends! We got to paint/decorate the pots and I love how it looks with my Christmas centerpiece!!
Tonight there's a big Christmas party fundraiser in town with a comedian, food, and DJ so my parents are coming in to grandparent and we are gonna go party!

Last night I had a really fun, fancy ladies night out! Me and some friends went to an exclusive club in the city for dinner and then to the ballet. It was nice to get dressed up and have fun! Now I'm eating a bomb ass breakfast sandwich I made. I'm in a pretty good mood 😄
My inlaws are coming up for the night, so I'm spending the day cleaning and trying to prepare for that. Timing wise I wish they'd wait, because we are busy trying to go through all of our stuff and my house is a state of chaos. They are babysitting while I take photos in the morning, so I'm grateful for that... i just wish I didn't also need to host them for the weekend. Haha.
I need to do more Christmasy stuff with the girls. Normally we spend all of December doing fun events, but with DH out of town I haven't had the energy to go anywhere and battle the crowds alone. I'm hoping that when the weather warms up a bit next week we can go out more and really get into the Christmas spirit.

sugarkissed I'm having a Christmas themed play date on Monday and one of the things I'm planning is making "reindeer food". Maybe something like that or any kind of Christmas crafts could be fun for you guys to do!
Our office party is tonight. H has to work late so I'm dateless and my mom is watching the kids so I can't really drink because I've got to drive to go pick them up at some point. Not a super exciting day, unfortunately.
Yay for bonuses billyhorrible! I don't know when I'm getting mine but I don't think it's going to be today. I'm anxiously awaiting. Funny story, one of my co-workers is from a different country and he thought the plural of bonus was "boni" like bone-ee. So he would go around and say "when are we getting our bone-ee"? He had me rolling.

C had her 18m checkup this morning and now we're on our way to dance class. H is actually not working OT today so I'm excited to explore the town with him while she's there:) I think we're planning BWW for lunch afterwards!
Hanging out at my grandma's this morning with DS and nanny kid. He wanted to go on an "adventure" so this is a free change of scenery. I want to do some Christmas crafts this afternoon, but mom might be back early so I won't complain if I end up going home instead.
My kid passed out on me watching television for the first time ever. He's been fighting a nasty cold all week. So now I'm stuck in nap jail on the couch! Yay! Much better than in the rocking chair. We should go to the grocery store at some point today. That's it for today.
I had my mom's club Christmas party last night. We did a white elephant exchange and I wound up with b&bw hand soaps and a lottery ticket because my original gift of a pound of Harry and David chocolate covered pretzels was stolen! Boo.
I'm waiting for my parents to get here so I can go to my dr appointment. LO is fighting a nap and my ILs will be here when I return. Busy day!

I'm also jealous of all the fun plans. They put my impending trip to the grocery store to shame. But we're supposed to get a bunch more snow late tonight/early tomorrow, so it has to get done because we have basically no food. So I'm planning a quiet night with my little family, which is honestly sounding lovely to me.
The highlight will hopefully be convincing H to paint our bathroom over Christmas break.

I'm also hoping to convince H to paint out bathroom over break. And put in a new toilet. And install shelves. Basically just redo the bathroom.
Hello!! We're due for some snow starting this afternoon. I really want to bake cookies and watch Christmas movies or at least listen to Christmas music, but C keeps dragging me to his toy room to watch him play. I also need to work on getting the house straightened up. DH made some snide comment about cleaning the house last night, and I've been slacking because I get tired of cleaning just to have C destroy everything I do.
Also speaking of the reindeer food- I had to make a deposit at the bank and they sent a Baggie of reindeer food home for C. One of the perks of having a business in the same small town as your bank. They know you, and remember you have a young child that might enjoy some of the fun Christmas activities. And now I don't have to make it myself!
I'm in the sick baby boat as well, plus cutting an eyetooth. Yesterday was a complete loss, I got nothing done til the kids came home from school and distracted T. He just follows me around and cries and wants me to light more candles.
DH is home today (using up sick leave) and doing vehicle maintenance, so I got to work out before he started on his list.Kids are at their last day of school before break, and DD has a dance recital tonight (as do all my advanced ballet girls). I am cleaning their room and purging their extra crap while they're gone.
Tomorrow DS1 and DH have a wrestling event, and I need to make an appearance at the dance studio Christmas party. Sunday is a family get-together with family that is finally not in court suing each other (read: I'll be drinking).
Also, jealous of people who are wrapping up their school days before break. We still have one more week to go, we're in school right up until the 23rd!
H is there till Wednesday, so he's not too far behind you either! But I'm starting to get the anxious excitement for his last day too!!
