Do you have a lock with keypad entry in your home?

I *think* it was on this board that someone mentioned recently that they have a keyless/entry code lock in their home that they could control by cell phone, adding and disabling codes for service providers, nannies etc.

In any case, does anyone by any chance have something like this? What brand/system do you use?

I'm going to start working non-traditional hours and my childcare arrangements will get more complicated. A combo of family members or a nanny will have to pick her up from daycare, so having codes would make my life easier than having multiple people with keys to my house.

We have one that came with our home security system. We love it because we can give different codes to different people and can easily change it if we have to. Also great is we have a app on our phones so if someone unexpected is coming by, we can unlock the door remotely.

We have the low-tech version - a lockbox with a key in it. Our housecleaner uses it, and a few of our neighbors use it if we need them to get into the house for one reason or another. Works well enough for us.

We don't but are seriously considering it. I want one that opens by Bluetooth. Yep, I'm too lazy to get my keys out of my purse and open a traditional deadbolt.

We have a garage door system that opens remotely via an App on our phone. Which is great for us--if we are at work and need to open the garage for someone, we just do it.

That way no one has a code but us.

No, but we're planning to get one after privacy mentioned it. We aren't getting a fancy one with Bluetooth and all that, just an electronic keypad.

We don't have keyless entry at my dad's but we have our security system through AT&T, and they offer the keyless entry and you can lock/unlock with an app on your phone. I'm not sure why we didn't get that installed, but you can try it out at the store. I mean, if you have AT&T phone service, though I'm sure it doesn't matter if they're your carrier or not.

I believe we pay something like $40/year. Not 100% though.

Our new house has this. It has been a huge improvement to our lives! Our house cleaners use it and it's just nice to know we have it in case we have to let someone into our home when we're not there. I almost gave it to my sister last week because she was coming over before DH and I got off work. Her plans changed but it would have been nice to know she could get in the house without us having to leave a key somewhere.

We have a kwikset keypad on our front door which is really convenient. We also have a garage key pad (with a different password). I really like having both options!
