Do your store your Christmas books?

We have about 8 books for M about Christmas.  We still read them occasionally.  It would be fun to get them out next year and revisit them, but perhaps we would get more use if we had them out all year.

I have a ton of thematic books for each holiday (hi, kindergarten teacher) so I have them stored in a few boxes labeled by holiday/season. I rotate them every month or two when I rotate toys.

I've tried to store them, but DD keeps dragging them out. So nope, it is Christmas/Easter/Halloween all year long!

Yes we put them away. I think it'll be fun when he's older to have a special book each night to go along with our advent calendar.

We keep all our books out year-round, just don't usually read the Christmas ones when it's not Christmas.

We keep them out all year. Being the librarian that I am, I initially tried to have a separate holiday section on DD's bookcase (although I didn't go so far as to put stickers on the spines), but she kept mixing them up, so I gave up on that plan an have in to the chaos.

Storing them was my plan because I was getting tired of singing jingle bells, but he managed to find some today and get MIL to read them. But I haven't stored the general summery and wintery books.

We keep them on a high up shelf with other holiday books. But seriously the kids freak out when they go away for the year and I am super grateful not to have to do Spot's First Christmas & Polar Express every single night.

Polar Express is an amazing book but it is THE WORST to read aloud.  There's something about the cadence that gets me all out of breath. And it's so darn long.

I got lucky and he doesn't choose the Christmas books. His top picks are always Little Critter books or 'Choo Choo' books (aka Thomas) so no need to rotate out the Christmas books. I may have to start hiding 'Me and My dad' so we don't read it 17x everyday before bed.
