As our little ones start having time to really play with their new toys, what are the favorites that Santa (or whoever) bought? Any misses? Any toys that surprised you on how well they're liked/disliked?
So our obvious big hit was his toy kitchen, DS loves that thing, and all the accessories with it, along with the slide from MIL. But he also really likes the Little People train my sister found for him (which I had never seen before!), and his toolbox from my parents.
I bought him the Beatbo robot, which he's very suspicious of. My friend's two year olds loved it yesterday though, so hopefully he warms up to it still?

DD is OBSESSED with her new kitchen and Bitty Baby. My mom got her a little bathtub to go with the baby and she has seen giving her baby baths all damn day! No reall misses as far as toys- but I will be returning several because there is just too much.
MMC refrigerator magnets might be his favorite. He takes them off and carries them everywhere while saying "Ickey!!" Also a big fan of his slide aka go! And a peg and hammer set.
J is playing with everything. She loves especially the wooden blocks my aunt & uncle got her. My sister got her kitchen toys and she loves using them with the blocks. Pretty much, everything was a hit.
LO is into everything she got. Her biggest things are her easel and color wonder markers/Mickey poster sheets (those are great cause she's tried to marker everything up!), this leapfrog music player I randomly picked up at toys r us, her little people sit n stand raceway (she loves putting everything down the ramps, not just the cars), and her table and chairs (we had a meltdown over trying to put her in the high chair last night).

I gave the girls a couple of my old Ty beanie babies and they are obsessed! They are little kid ones, not animals, so B walks around with it all day saying "baby!"
We didn't do much for gifts this year, but I'm glad that my old junk is a hit!

Hot wheels were the big winner here this year Christmas-wise. (We've still got 5 nights of Chanukah left) SIL's sister got LBB a little carrying case that connects to tracks for the cars which he loves, and DH's best friend got BH a bunch of hot wheels. Both boys have been carrying their cars around everywhere.

DD got a little people toy house and a baby doll stroller that she LOVES!!! She played all day yesterday with the doll house and then pushed the stroller around the house all night.

Santa brought DD a puppy vet set. The puppy has a bottle and bone, and makes munching noises when you feed them to her. She also sneezes and needs her nose wipes with a tissue to make it light up.
She also loves her Bitty Baby. I'm really having to reinforce that she's too big to be in DD's crib at sleep time.
So not Santa but tonight for Hannukah my MIL gave DD a shabbat set. Its a wooden toy with candles, two loafs of challah, a kiddish cup (wine glass) a bottle lf wine and a knife to "cut" the challah which is held together with velcro. We really arent a religous family but lighting the candles and saying the blessings every Friday night is 1 thing rhat we always do. Im so happy that she can now particiapte while momma does everything with the real candles and what not.
The kitchen and accessories were the big hit, all the little people won't be unpacked until we put the Christmas ones away. His little reading chair (the Poang from Ikea) and his ballpit both ended up being hidden. The chair because he climbed it too many times and the ball pit because I was an idiot and didn't realize that it was just a tent with no base so it was a pain.

The kitchen was a hit as well as the duplo blocks and the little wagon thingy for them. The weird giggle doll my MIL sent was a big no but she loved her cabbage patch baby we got her. Actually she loved everything everyone got her except the stuff grandma sent. Probably because she won't listen to what we tell her when she asks what she wants/likes.

Babies, strollers, bottles etc. She is majorly baby obsessed right now.
Also these really cute cars I found at Target by B. Brand. Theyre the kind you pull back and they zoom, are really colorful and have jingly bells inside. Lots and lots of zooming going on.
And a tea set with talking tea pot and cookies and things. Very cute her and daddy having tea parties ♡
The rest was mostly clothes, so she kinda loved it all!
Honestly, I think the biggest hit was a set of bath crayons from her stocking. She's been a little meh about her shopping cart, but loves the toy food that came with it. She likes dumping her new box of duplos and pulling them apart if I build things. There are several things (more duplos, a little people set) that I decided could stay in the box until after we move in a month or so. She has so many toys already!
