S did not get the memo about this being my day off and woke up at 5 am. Lots of coffee to be had by me.
L opened all his gifts yesterday and likes the ones from us and my mom. MIL got him some ugly clothes that he won't fit into for at least a year. Luckily they came with a gift receipt and we can get something he will like more that actually fits.
sarcaztic10 glad L had fun! My MIL constantly gets DS1 clothes that won't fit for a long long time. I don't get it. He got him a Star Wars shirt that will probably fit him when he's in Kindergarten....in 2.5 years.
Everyone is home today. My school, daycare and h's work are all closed today so it's our last day of winter break. I have shit ton of stuff to do. B is starting daycare tomorrow. Im really nervous about it. I know he will be fine, but still sucks.
I have a champagne hangover from day drinking mimosas yesterday. Luckily no work today but I was planning on taking my kids to school and being productive. I think I'll lay on the couch all day instead and pray this headache goes away.

Taking my daughter to the dentist and going grocery shopping with both kids. Our furnace broke yesterday and my husband was able to diagnose it and order the part for $25. Thank you! Thank you! But until it arrives Wednesday our furnace will be barely working. What did we do before Amazon prime and YouTube?

Seriously!
My dad knew how to fix everything so I just assumed that when I got married, my husband would too. Nope! Haha. Thanks to YouTube I've fixed our lawnmower, dishwasher, and learned some basic car maintenance.
I took down the Christmas decorations, which always makes me sad, but with the addition of a zillion new toys I'll be glad to get my house back in order (or at least a lesser degree of disorder).
We got a play area set up in our basement a big carpet remnant from my brother and some random furniture and Christmas lights = new play room!

I hope you stay warm enough til Wednesday!
Thanks. Thank goodness we are old pros at figuring out how to do it ourselves and knowing when to call an expert.
melody330 hugs, I hope everything goes smoothly for you and B tomorrow!
katelou I took down our decorations and tree the other day and it was sad but I'm so glad I did it's so much less cluttered! DD1 cried the whole time though saying "Christmas is not over mom there's still snow!" lol.
AFM Everyone's home today and I got to sleep in this morning thankfully. I want to go to the store later and return some of J's clothes she got that are too small. Also I got my first pair of leggings for Christmas and now I'm addicted and want to get more!

Haha my husband is the opposite of handy as well. I need to learn some basics but thankfully both my BIL's are great at that kind of stuff.
