EDD/Baby's Birthday: Jan 11
How many weeks? Or, how old is baby?: 38+5
Appointment plans/results: Belly check Thursday. There better be more progress made or this baby needs to arrive now. Preferably the latter.
How ya feeling?: Pain in all the places. Starting to think some of the back pains I've been having are actually contractions. This pregnancy has been so different than the first.
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Years Resolutions, yet? Nope! I try not to make any.
Appointment plans/results: weekly appt on Friday. Last appt was thus past Friday and extremely uneventful. Just hoping my gbs test comes back negative since the antibiotics last go 'round were seriously the worst part of labor.
How ya feeling?: actually not too bad! Now that I'm finally getting over this illness. Bronchitis while 36w pregnant is no joke, especially with reflux. I have been having tons of random energy spurts, which is helpful for getting stuff done.
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet? I also have not made any- I can't remember ever making one.

heybulldog56, I get super excited every time I have cramping or a contraction. And then I remind myself it means nothing until things become faster, more regular, and more intense. I feel like a noob almost everyday at this point. I also can't decide if I'm more excited to meet my baby or to just not be in all this pain anymore. I *know* I want my baby more but the idea of so much of this pain being gone is a super super close second.
How ya feeling?: OMG so done. Just done. Struggling with the body image hardcore right now.
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet? I mentally have given myself a pass on some of my resolutions until after DS is born (like working out and going on a diet), so I guess I haven't broken any yet.

opheliainwaders, love your motto for 2017. I might adopt it. thelittleredm, seriously I can't wait to meet baby but at this point I just don't want to be pregnant anymore. I also feel like such a noob but honestly I want to get this show on the road.
How many weeks? Or, how old is baby? 37 weeks Friday
Appointment plans/results: NST tomorrow afternoon and MW Appt Wednesday afternoon (doing the GBS swab then). I'm on Flagyl for bacterial vaginosis right now.
How ya feeling?: Everything hurts. And I wasn't really dilated when I went to L&D last week, but I have been having intermittent contractions and I lost my mucus plug
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet? My resolutions are more for after baby.
Appointment plans/results: went today bc of high BP, going for first weekly Weds and also to recheck bp. As of today baby is now measuring 1 week ahead by the tape test.
How ya feeling?: tired, LOTS of BH today, none painful. Also cervical pain/pressure. Baby hasn't "dropped" because she's still practically in my throat (ok, ribs), but my cervix doesn't believe that. I feel like a hand will come through at any point. When is normal For them to start checking on dilation? I'm getting GBS weds, so maybe they'll be looking anyhow?
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet? Won't start working out again til clearance after birth, so no.
pibblemom they might check if you want at 36w when they do the gbs. In my midwife group you can either swab yourself or they can do it and check you out. I'm declining this time around since it can be painful and always causes contractions for me like carrots. Plus, it's possible to walk around partially dilated for weeks, so it's not a great indicator of when you'll go.
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet?
-Scheduled C on the 20th - I'll be 37 weeks this Friday - check up tomorrow and I think I will start NST too. Dreading getting on that scale - Nope! I keep my resolutions pretty simple. This one was to unplug at night when DH gets home and actually converse with each other.
Also, add me to the list of people that wants to not be pregnant anymore. Of course it will be nice to meet DD, but really all I daydream about is being more comfortable! I kind of forget the baby is coming because I'm so wrapped up in being miserable. I'm definitely not the glowing pregnant woman.
Feeling: Ok overall. I've had some bad insomia like everyone else. Leg cramps (I need to try to drink more water) and of course just general uncomfortable-ness.
GTKY: I also didn't make any
pibblemom my OB does them starting at 36 weeks, also when I had the GBS test.

pibblemom, It's definitely dependant on the practice. My first MW group offered at 36 weeks but this second one doesn't offer until 38. And it's always up to you if you get it done or not.

pibblemom, my ob also starts doing them at 36 weeks. I opted out at 37 and will probably opt out again on Wednesday because of the cramping/ contractions and also don't want to get my hopes dashed.

This. I got checked at ~37 weeks with DD. My OB was like, whoa, you're already almost 3cm dilated - I'll eat my hat if you make it to your checkup next week! Well, I made it to 39+4, but after her comment I felt like everyday I was overdue and it was incredibly annoying. I'm debating this time whether I want to decline the check or get it and just know that whatever they find doesn't necessarily mean much.
EDD/Baby's Birthday: Jan 16, scheduled c-section for Jan 12, moved to Jan 4 (tomorrow!)
How many weeks? Or, how old is baby? 38 and 2, baby will be born at 38 and 3.
Appointment plans/results: I had an app't this morning to check baby's growth and he hasn't grown n around 2 weeks and now fallen off the curve into "too small". C-section was moved to tomorrow.
How ya feeling?: Emotional about my DD not being my one and only anymore. She's still so little to me. Ugh. It's been an emotional day.
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet? I didn't make any :-(

biscotto, Talk about changes!! I'd be freaking out if I were you. I hope you and your DD get to spend some extra alone time together today. I look forward to your new baby update
Appointment plans/results: First pedi appt today. She was 8lb10 at birth and weighed in at 8lb5 today. I am so relieved that she is gaining. I really had some struggles bf'ing #1 so this is a totally amazing accomplishment for me right now.
How ya feeling?: surprisingly normal albeit just a little sleep deprived lol. I'm just feeling so much more confident with #2 than I was with my first.
Bonus GTKY: Have you broken any New Year resolutions yet? I didn't set any. But I'm ready to lose the weight and get back in pre pregnancy clothes.
