summergirl1211 I'm replying in this week's check in instead of bumping the old one :-) welcome!
Some babies are sleepy nursers. You can try stripping him down to just a diaper, rubbing his cheek or shoulder, tickling his feet to keep him awake. A cool damp washcloth on his feet or along his arm. Changing diaper between breasts may wake him up again.
Doing breast compressions to speed the flow may help keep him interested.
The sleepiness gets better as baby gets older! Hopefully since LO has reached due date it won't be too much longer.
Be sure to lube your nipples before pumping. I like coconut oil but any nipple cream will do. After nursing or pumping, express a little milk onto nips & let air dry, then follow with nipple cream. Gel soothie pads may also help.
Be sure all bottles are pace fed with a slow flow nipple. Pace feeding is about how a bottle is fed, not when, as babies should always be fed on demand. Paced feeding protects against overfeeding and bottle preference. As far as amount in bottle, general rule is 1-1.5oz per hour since last feeding. youtu.be/UH4T70OSzGs
You're doing great! Preemies have extra challenges, and then dealing with the tongue tie in addition is rough.

E is home now and is 10 weeks.
She latches great she wants to but my low supply causes her not to want to nurse. I'm still pumping and my low supply has gotten even worse before E came home I got almost 4oz and now I'm getting barely 2oz all day. It's so incredibly upsetting I really don't want to give up.
I'm surprised how fussy she is.
Qotw: h & I love playing board games so much. I don't have a favorite.

I'm no expert on this stuff but I was going to check in and saw your post. Do you have a hospital grade pump? Maybe you could rent one and see if that helps. Also can you talk to LC and see about a prescription, I think it's reglan maybe? Obviously try all the other things for boosting supply, fenugreek etc. Don't give up if you want to make it work, esp if she is latching good. But also don't feel guilty if doesn't work out either. Just explore all your options for increasing your supply, I'm sure some more experienced ladies on here can lend some advice too. But I would def talk to your LC as soon as you can. And ((hugs)) I dealt with low supply with my first and it was a very tough road, but you'll get through this. You have an amazing baby and that is what matters most.

I do fenugreek mothers milk tea Gatorade you name it I've tried it or am doing it currently. The LC wanted me To try goats rue and something else begins with an M before reglan. I've been hesitant about reglan because of the anxiety stuff too. Eta: a spectra is a hospital grade pump when I was with E in the nicu I would use a medela symphony and saw no difference in out put. I may rent one.
How's everything going? Pretty good so far. DD had her first pedi first on Tuesday and was 5 oz from her birth weight it was such a relief. I had c/s and nursing at the hospital was a challenge for me. But she was latching just wasn't getting much at first and was down 7% and then 9%. I started pumping there and was able to get 15ml in first pump. We did some syringe feeding for a few days after that.
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share? DD has been doing good once she gets latched on, sometimes she is sucking down milk and starts to gag so I know she is getting enough. But at the beginning of a nursing session she can sometimes takes a min or 2 to finally latch. Like she will be rooting around but I can't get her on, sometimes she will literally push me away. It's a little frustrating so I'll take tips to help with that!
What is something about your newborn(s) that surprised you? Nothing surprising, since this isn't my first. But I'm surprised at how reasonably human I'm feeling. Maybe I'm just more relaxed and know what I'm in for, but I'm somehow still surviving even though I've got cold/congestion and there's that lack of sleep too lol.
GTKY: what's your favorite board or card game? I've always loved Uno we played a ton when I was young as a family. Now I like to play Mexican train dominoes and aggravation.

I wasn't aware of reglan side effects. Sounds like you are doing what you can with help of the LC. I would at least try the rental pump, I don't think it's a huge investment per month just to see if it can help.
