I'm very thankful that my mom will be watching M Wednesday - Friday when I go back to work. I work 1-9 on Mondays so the in laws will have her from 12-330 when H gets home.
We have a similar arrangement. Right now my mom watches DD Monday through Thursday then MIL has her on Friday, but MIL is putting in her retirement notice today so she wants more time with dd. It's definitely nice. And basically free, thank goodness.
This is the best. I'm so happy for free childcare. My mom retired just after my Dad died. The only sucky part is that she lives an hour away. I'm hoping she gets the downstairs bedroom at her house cleared out so if there are snow storms next winter, I can stay there with the baby and go to work that way.
We had our anatomy scan and everything looked good for the baby. I had to get gooped up three times plus the vaginal u/s, because I apparently have bilobed placenta and she wanted to make sure there weren't any vessels over the cervix (there weren't), then she forgot to get pictures of the kidneys (he has two) and then the doctors wanted more pictures of the placenta. She was really nice though and having a good chuckle at the baby's antics along with H, while I had no idea what I was looking at most of the time.
Awwww! I had to go back because they couldn't get good pictures of her heart because she's a nut. Thankfully they got a video the last time that was sufficient for the midwife/doctors.
I'm trying really hard not to puke at work. I feel like fucking shit. Thank the lord for ginger ale and nurses who won't mind if I take some from the patient stock.

The baby had his legs over his head and it took a while to get a decent look at the heart because of the shadows (or so she told me). She also had to tilt me upside down to try and get him to move to get a look at his head. I'm glad I don't have to go back though.
I thought this was going to be my last u/s but they are recommending another one at 32 weeks "due to my age".
Hi all...I haven't intro'ed over here yet bc I mm a superstitious nervous nelly...but I've been lurking about I go in for my first u/s on Thursday and then hopefully will feel a bit more confident to join in regularly.

Staying full was my key to not getting sick. The minute you are hungry it's all over.

Hahahhahhah what a little good ball.
It will be nice to see him again at 32 weeks. I think that's when I'm doing my elective 3D/4D because I don't want to risk not having those pictures.
Yes!!!!!! I knew I could tag you and you'd come play. I'm so happy my friend. 😘
Yeah I'm a sucker for a OSW tag
I'm so happy you are here. How are you feeling? I saw the picture of you with your girlfriends and I was wondering if you told them since you were sans wine in your hand 😂

I'm trying to plan when to knock out a few inspections the next two months before I move to biweekly apps intermingled with my monthly growth scans but I don't want to... at least they're local now instead of the Syracuse and Buffalo ones I originally had...

Haha yeah they figured it out quick!! I haven't really told people except for some besties but most anyone I was with over the holidays probably figured it out 😂

Where's a good place to get maternity leggings/tights inexpensively? I tried on a pair of leggings at H&M and they were so long on me, Old Navy in my area didn't have any maternity stuff and Moterhood Maternity at the mall is tiny and most of their stuff is for nursing.

MM and ON are my go-to's...can you order online? I love the ones I have from both places.
Thanks @akraus and ladytiffany24 and PirateCat and anyone else I missed...I've been on the DL bc of a bunch of early losses. I'm feeling ok...no nausea yet really just some dizziness and complete exhaustion. I'll admit I'd feel better with a few more symptoms...but I'll take not feeling like crap I guess!
But...if you're into betas...my first (14dp3dt) was 1552 and then at 16dp3dt it was 3119 so I'm at least doing better than previous attempts (this was IVF #3). And we put in three...😬

Also, not leggings, but I finally busted out my Pea in the Pod black maternity dress pants and they are AH-MAZING. So freaking comfortable. Original price on them was $98 from Macy's but I bought them on super sale in 2015 when I was pregnant with Emmett and can finally wear them. I never want to take them off.

I've heard that Gap has the best black maternity leggings. Someone told me to buy 2 pairs and I'd never need anything else. I'm only team leggings at night or under a dress so I stick with my LLR.

Yea, I'm gonna order some stuff online and just return them if I have to. And maybe I'll just have to hem them for my short legs.
wannabmama, I have been stalking and saw that you transferred 3. Yay for good betas!!
onesweetworld, ugaqueencity, I'll check out Gap. It's cold here so thicker would be good. I don't usually wear leggings but I found a couple of cute dresses on sale. And now I also need/want a pair of shoes to go with the dresses...
