RajahMD the benadryl/b6 combo before bed really helped my nausea, as did forcing myself to eat something small right when I woke up (toast with PB was my go-to). Sorry you feel so ill
Where's a good place to get maternity leggings/tights inexpensively? I tried on a pair of leggings at H&M and they were so long on me, Old Navy in my area didn't have any maternity stuff and Moterhood Maternity at the mall is tiny and most of their stuff is for nursing.
I'm happy with the ones I got from target. They're a tad long but it doesn't bother me.
MM and ON are my go-to's...can you order online? I love the ones I have from both places.
Yea, I'm gonna order some stuff online and just return them if I have to. And maybe I'll just have to hem them for my short legs.
I have short-ish legs and I have a few pairs that are a little too long. I cuff them at the bottom and wear with ankle booties. Or I pull them over my socks for extra warmth with taller boots.
Thanks @akraus and ladytiffany24 and PirateCat and anyone else I missed...I've been on the DL bc of a bunch of early losses. I'm feeling ok...no nausea yet really just some dizziness and complete exhaustion. I'll admit I'd feel better with a few more symptoms...but I'll take not feeling like crap I guess!
But...if you're into betas...my first (14dp3dt) was 1552 and then at 16dp3dt it was 3119 so I'm at least doing better than previous attempts (this was IVF #3). And we put in three...😬
I never had many symptoms 😊 So don't use that as proof of anything. And holy geez 3!!!!! You're a brave woman. But I could use another twin mom friend 😜. Your betas are beautiful.

My target leggings got really pilly after just one wash. I was disappointed because they're so soft and comfortable. I just wear them around the house or as pajamas now.

RajahMD, +1 to Unisom/B6 combo right before bed. I'm still taking it every night. The one or two times I've skipped my nausea has come back, but it's basically gone as long as I keep up that combo at night. I have to cut the Unisom pill in half though otherwise I sleep too long.

Really?! I wash mine twice a week lately because I only bought one pair and they're holding up great. I've even slept in them a few times and they're not even stretched out. I'll have to check and see what brand they are.

I got some antibiotics for my sinus infection so I'm hoping they do some magic soon.
Also, we've been going through the Harry Potter movies at night and DS calls Dumbledore Santa. It is the cutest thing and I don't want to correct him lol

That makes me feel so much better! My boobs are enormous and itchy and painful so that's something I guess
Yeah...I'm old and my second IVF there were zero eggs at retrieval so my RE was saying we were running out of chances. We've never had great retrieval numbers so I never thought there'd even be three to put in, so I just said sure...ha! We even got a frostie this time. At least we found a good protocol I guess!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I hardly had any symptoms either and it is definitely nerve-wrecking after a loss. Hang in there and I hope you have an awesome scan to put your mind at ease (and find out how many are in there!!)!

I'm so so so glad it worked this time. And a frostie!!!!! The only symptoms I really had (with twins) was my boobs blew up right away (and still growing) and I had EXTREME fatigue. The first two weeks I felt like I had a hangover but I never got sick or anything. Everyone's bodies react to pregnancy differently. But I know what a mind fuck it can be to have so few symptoms. I'm praying for your 3 and can't wait to see if all 3 took!!
What's the consensus on full panel leggings vs. under-the-belly?
I'm team full panel. I have mostly low panel/under the belly and they aren't my favorite. I remember when I was pregnant with DS towards the end they got really uncomfortable, like the band would push on my bladder/belly whenever I would sit down. A couple downsides to full panel is that it can make you feel warmer and some of them are kind of itchy, but definitely better than the feelings you get from low panel.

Yeah, let me know. I might have just gotten the cheapie ones. They have some in the regular clothing section, and I think they also have nicer ones in the workout section.

I TOTALLY forgot about this symptom....it was TERRIBLE during my pregnancy with Emmett. So glad I don't have the itchy boobs this time!!
What's the consensus on full panel leggings vs. under-the-belly?
A friend gave me some Under belly shorts that I liked at first but there's no way I'd be comfortable wearing them now that my belly is large and in charge. I'd recommend getting full belly from the start and folding the panel over of it bugs you at first
I'm liking the full-panel ones right now, too. I just fold them over for now, but I know eventually I'll want the full panel.

I'm fine with anything of course...but three would be quite a challenge! 😬 It's totally unfair to feel hungover when we don't get the fun part of the night before, eh?!

Hey ladies. I was lurking and saw this Grad Updates thread and thought I'd pop in. I'm especially super excited to see wannabmama on the pregnancy board! Congrats again!
My not-so-little guy is growing like a weed. He's 15 weeks old tomorrow and he's just under 16 lbs. I only know how much he weighs right now because I took him to urgent care on Saturday to have his little toe looked at because of a hair tourniquet. His poor little toe looked so bad, but he is okay and it's looking much better now. So, new moms - watch out for hairs wrapping around your baby's toes and penis because it can be very dangerous. Luckily, I caught his early enough that it didn't cause much damage.
Tomorrow, Early Intervention is coming to our house to evaluate him because of his torticollis and plagiocephaly (flat head), and will let us know if he qualifies for any services. I think his torticollis has been resolved with the stretches we were doing, but we won't know for sure until they check him out. I don't think he's behind in anything, but I didn't want to cancel the appointment.
Yesterday was the first day we got him fully laughing/giggling. He's been doing a half-giggle for a while now, but DH really got him going and it was so stinking cute. And then he was *this close* to rolling back to belly. My girls love watching him do all this stuff... I absolutely love having older kids who have so much fun with him and get so much joy out of their baby brother.
We have a similar arrangement. Right now my mom watches DD Monday through Thursday then MIL has her on Friday, but MIL is putting in her retirement notice today so she wants more time with dd. It's definitely nice. And basically free, thank goodness.
This is the best. I'm so happy for free childcare. My mom retired just after my Dad died. The only sucky part is that she lives an hour away. I'm hoping she gets the downstairs bedroom at her house cleared out so if there are snow storms next winter, I can stay there with the baby and go to work that way.
That is far! When we moved back home this summer we opted to build on the same street as my parents so it really makes things super easy. I hope your mom gets that room cleared out for you!
Where's a good place to get maternity leggings/tights inexpensively? I tried on a pair of leggings at H&M and they were so long on me, Old Navy in my area didn't have any maternity stuff and Moterhood Maternity at the mall is tiny and most of their stuff is for nursing.
